I've never unlocked a phone myself before I normally would take it to someone to do it. But this site made it straight forward and simple.

It was really easy to do and didn't take too long either. It showed you what to do with the codes after and I had no issues unlocking my old phone.

Website said instant, took 8 days, also got charged 28.99, then another $50, then they snuck in another $5 charge without informing me. Never got an unlock code. Phone still dead. They string you on and on and on. Super scam out of England. Death to the Brits. Its probably blacks or a terrorist cell.

They run both Direct Unlocks & Express Unlocks.

A lot of their reviews are clearly fake.

The sales pitch is along the lines of 'a couple of clicks and can will unlock your phone'.

However when you try is a bit of a bait and switch from one screen to the next. On the next screen the fee only covers the 'eligibility checks' for $29, which is mandatory, and then in a much lighter grey font the smallprint says they'll charge you another $50 for the actual unlock if you are eligible to do it.

This has many issues over just the scammy design of the webpages:
1. The mandatory 'eligibility checks' are free on other websites
2. The 'eligibility checks' don't actually check if your phone can be unlocked. If there are payments outstanding on the contract for example, the phone passes the checks but fails the actual unlock.
3. They will try to keep your money for both the $29 and $50 if your phone fails to be unlocked, instead issuing a credit note.
4. If your phone is actually eligible to be unlocked, then it would have been free to do it directly with the carrier.

The funny part is that as soon as you pay the $29, you receive an automated email explaining the scam. So many customers complain that they save time by just instantly telling you your been had and that you need to cough up the extra $50. They highlight with a screenshot the fine print you missed.

The sickening part is their efforts to try and gaslight you into thinking that they are a legitimate service. They really are relentless in this regard.

I got my $50 refunded in the end by calling them out and demanding it else I would escalate it to numerous online fraud agencies. I'm happy to leave the $29 as a lesson to myself to be more careful of scam websites in future.

This is a legit service. Amazing communication through out the process. Reliable service and fast process. $30 to clear your phone, $50 to start the process. It was great to know this was not a scam, but a legit service. My iPhone was unlocked successfully.

Hace bastante tiempo mi xs max lo compre con alguien que lo tenia desbloqueado con metodo entonces cada vez que lo reiniciaba me tenian que hacer un desbloqueo, entonces quise ver si habia una forma de desbloquearlo ya que en T-Mobile no querian por que no tenia cuenta y ningun numero registrado, al princpio se cobraron 28.99 usd despues se me cobraron 50 usd para que T-mobile lo desbloeara pero al final salio un adeudo del telefono de 683usd aprox, y DirectUnlocks hizo un trato en dejarlo en 253 usd si era algo caro y pense que no funcionaria pero al final mi telefono quedo desbloqeuado

I initially was disappointed because I did not read the fine print. However I understand the need for two separate charges and respect it. The smaller charge to know whether or not the device can even be unlocked. So if they can't unlock no additional charges and you are not out a lot of money. But if they can there is an additional larger charge and you get what you pay for. 10 days after receiving the code and it unlocked my device no issues. Life happen baby was born. So it took me 10 days to unlock, though they provided the code in about 4 hours or less after payment.

I was very skeptical about if this was legit and if it really would work, I originally paid $28.99 for them to do the eligibility check. Once I pass the eligibility check, I paid another $50 for the unlock to be complete. The service was very fast. My phone was completely unlocked and less than 20 minutes of me starting the process. I am completely satisfying and very grateful and definitely recommend it to anyone needing their device unlocked. The communication via email was also excellent. They kept me updated every step of the way. Definitely rate it a 10 out of 10.

I came to know directunlocks when Im trying to sim unlock my niece's phone. I just took my chance since the reviews I read about them is good and many are satisfied with their service. It took around 10 days to unlock my phone but overall Im satisfied and their customer service is excellent. They reply with all your inquiries.

Unsatisfactory, slow to respond, too long to get a code... Trapped into a second payment to go forward with the AT&T unlock 🔓/release codes... Preying on those who are desperate for a service/solution to resolve technical issues they don't understand.

I needed to unlock my phone from att. I searched the internet and found directunlocks.com they advertised a under $30.00 network unlock service. I paid the $30.00 and after that they inform me that it would cost an extra $100.00 for a total of $130.00. On top of that it also took 3 days to get unlock code.This was very upsetting to me and being I needed my phone ASAP I found this very misleading and bad business practices.

I chose direct unlocks because their website promised a fast process saying I would have my phone unlocked immediately. First I was charged $28.99 to see if the phone was eligible to be unlocked thought that was it. Then 50% of the way through that process I was charged $50 to continue. Then when it finally began the unlock process it said it would take 3 days. It ended up being 10 days to unlock the sim (I can neither confirm or deny it worked because at the time I received the email notification from direct unlocks my phone had been unlocked for 10 days through the carrier.) After I saw it would be 3 days instead of the immediate access promised by the direct unlocks website I decided to get my phone unlocked through the carrier (within an hour after placing my order on direct unlocks.) which turned out to be free and in fact did give me access to an unlocked device within minutes. I contacted direct unlocks for a refund since the only reason I sought an outside solution was because the time it took to unlock the device was not what they said it would be and I didn't find out it would take 3-10 days until after I had already paid. I say check with your carries first and know that no deceive is going to be unlocked in less than 3-10 days on this website. So if you are seeking immediate access go somewhere else.
