This site is by far the worst I have ever seen relative to delivery or customer service and they freely threatened to illegally post my personal credit card data when I called seeking my order to be filled.

Don't do it!' This place needs to be shut down. They send two confirmations. One about your order like a normal receipt. A second one comes a bit later saying in Oder to complete your order you need to call back. I tried that for weeks and they don't answer so guess what... Order never shipped. Their email even cites hours that they freely admitted they aren't open.

I have about 100 things I could share about this experience. All are negative except the price they quoted. But that too turned out to be a sham and I never received my order.

I ordered a camera for my daughter's birthday on 18 January. They say on their website they have a large in stock supply and normally ship the same or next day. A few days later I still hadn't been notified of the shipment. When I called to check on it, the recording told me they were closed from 20 to 29 January for a "holiday". Then on 2 February, I get an email telling me I have to call for security reasons for them to complete the order. When I called I complained that they had given me no warning on their holiday closure. I was going to ask for a discount for the delay, but never got to that. The guy got mad and told me he was going to cancel my order. I told him I didn't want him to do that, why was he doing that? He told me he was because he wants to and he can.

Digital Outlets Suck!

I first ordered a Canon 5d mark iii I thought that the price was great. They got my money and then I was informed by them that it was an overseas model and that if I wanted a US model it would cost me $750 more. Just another bait and switch scam! But that's not the end of that, it has been over 2 months and I still haven't received my camera. I have made 4 phone calls and always another excuse. Do yourself a favor and buy from anybody else!

No. It looks like from My hm work this company is worth A POOP. Need to flush them off the Net. Guess I need to go else where after looking at what they have done baiting people. Same product in more then one place on there site for different prices. Buy the cheeper then U R going to get SCREWED.

Come to know from a customer service call that the information on their site was wrong about the item. I purchase after carefully looking at lens for my digital camera from the description. They email me about the verbal confirmation on order (only good point). So when I called they explain the item i bought is not for digital camera (no where they wrote this on item listing). So customer support guy tried to sell me the costlier one and I said no I don't like the way they are forcing me to decide on phone specially after wrongful information on the order. So I asked to cancel my order (of course 10% cancellation charge). After cancelling the customer support guy did a racist comment on my accent. There you go tells how cheap they are. Would never visit their site again. Infect I have put this site in my block list already... Shop only if their customer service people like your accent...

I was looking to buy a digital camera Nikon D750. The prices on line were all over the place ranging from $1495 to $2295. The cheapest price however belonged to Digitaloutlets.com which offered the camera for $1149. I compared all the specs to the Nikon camera on actual Nikon site, and they were identical, so I made a purchase. I received 2 emails; one purchase confirmation, and one "welcome!" email.

Four days later I noticed that my cc was not charged, even though the site promised to deliver my camera in few days. So I called. 26 minutes on hold later, I spoke to a very rude guy that told me that my order was cancelled because this camera was out of stock, and that he send me an email to notify me about the cancellation. This was BS. I never received any cancellation emails beyond the first two confirmation emails.

I was mad. Because I spent my money at Digital Outlets, I missed the Black Friday and the Cyber Monday sales. The guy said that there is nothing he can do for me, and that I should get my camera elsewhere like Best Buy or B&H Photo. Then he said: "EVEN THOUHG YOU PAY MORE AT B&H PHOTO, YOUR NIKON D750 CAMERA WILL BE BETTER, BECAUSE IT WILL HAVE WIFI AND A METAL BODY, INSTEAD OF PLASTIC VERSION THAT WE OFFER." Then he practically hung up on me.

That didn't seem right to me so I called Nikon directly to see how many versions of the D750 they had made. Nikon only made ONE version of D750. It has Wifi and a metal body for the durability. Anything else advertised as Nikon D750 is a cheap reproduction!

Also, the websites 5 star reviews are FAKE! Every review is a 2 word review like: "Smooth Process," or "Best Prices." And there are many of them, exactly the same...

DO NOT TRUST THIS WEBSITE! Buy from Nikon or an Authorized Dealer.

I am Brazilian and bought in Digital Outlets.net, on 18th September a Canon EOS 5D Mark III camera and a lens, and requested that the delivery was made in Orlando where I have been stayed until the 9th October. As nothing was given to me, I asked again, after several attempts and waiting on the phone, to deliver my order in New York, where I would stay until the 17th October. Unfortunatelly the goods were not delivered and I had to return to Brazil. After this, a friend of mine went to Tucson and I requested again that the products would be delivered to the hotel she was staying and nothing. I had already requested via email to cancel the purchase and return of the money paid, but as usual there was no answer. So everything is looking like I was virtual victim, a coup. I paid $ 2,248.00. I hope that the company answer my email confirming the refund of all the amount paid very shortly.

Don't do it!

Just like everyone else, I got sucked in by the cheap price and false advertising by digitaloutlets.net. It was almost 50% off other competitors prices. I should have known it was too good to be true... Again (like everyone else), they called me and told me that I ordered the "Japanese version and that the menu was in Japanese". They also told me that it wasn't under warranty. I paid $400 more for the American version. I found out later that they are not Authorized by Nikon to sell their products. It's not under warranty anyways. The factory won't stand behind their own product because it's sold by these jokers. Do yourself a favor, don't buy from them. Go to a camera dealer that is authorized by the manufacturer. Buy it from Costco, Best Buy, B&H, etc. I would not buy it from these guys. They will scam you!

Placed order then contacted us saying the camera we ordered was from Japan and would only be in Japanese... lol To order there other camera for $300 more. Send u times to call back different from there site and want to charge u a restocking fee for them to refund your money!

Foolishly tried to order a camera from these guys. Looks like I'm currently getting the same scam treatment. Won't answer emails, won't answer the phone. They took the money quick enough, though. Looks like this is going to be a call to the credit card company to see if they can recoup the funds.

Worst customer service ever. They talk in a very bad way as if they do you a favor

I placed an online order for canon mark III camera, the price was way too cheap. 3 days later I called to check the status of the order after 45 mins on hold the guy started to talk with a tone and told me the camera will be shipped today if I wanna cancel there is a %10 cancellation. Next day I saw an update on the website that it's a back order, I called to get the status he told me the camera has been shipped and when I asked for a tracking number he said I can't give that to you. Then the order went to cancel state

I had to call my credit card to get my money back. Don't be tricked by the cheak prices. They are a big spammer

Terrible customer service, repeated lies about shipping dates, shipped the wrong item, refused to reimburse for return shipping on the wrong item. Seller refused to communicate as soon as the replacement item shipped out.

Buyer beware - check online for review. This company is bad news.

BUYER BEWARE!

"What and AWFUL experience I have had with this company ( I use that word loosely because they should not even be in business as far as I am concerned) I ordered a new lens for my Canon T5 the third week of July, I received an email Aug 10 saying I had to respond with a call to verify payment info or my lens would not get shipped, I then got a call the next day from a guy ( would not use gentleman cause he was ignorant) saying they needed the 3 #'s on the back of my card again cause they were having issues with pymnt (pymnt wen't through my acct July 26) I proceeded to say I was not comfortable with this and to just cancel my order. He got quite snotty with me and so I reiterated again to cancel it. He then got all nice trying to get me to change my mind and said if i just verified everything it would be shipped out and I would have it in 5 business days.
It is now Aug 27 and I have still yet to receive this lens. I called on Aug 25 to see what the hold up was and he said "I see it was shipped Aug 1st but it looks like it is held up in customs" (refer to call on Aug 10th saying they won't ship until I verify paymnt info?!?) Nothing adds up and I totally feel like this whole transaction was BS, asked to have tracking number so I could go online to see for myself where it actually was, was told he would make a call right away and get back to me with info... still no call.
I have now called my bank, cancelled my card and put in a dispute for the charges... and I better get them back sooner then later cause this is ridiculous!
Never again will I deal with this company and I will tell everyone I can how much of a scam it is! I will be sharing this review on as many sites as possible!
I have also submitted a complaint with the BBB

Update: I was forced to remove this review from other sites in order to get my money back from these crooks, I cannot believe I was threatened like that, no wonder bad reviews are few and far between because they threaten you if you write one before you get your refund... what a joke! Well guess what, I got my money back and here is my review and every bit of it is the truth!

Bait and switch

I tried to order a Nikon d810 from Digital outlets, the next day I received a phone call from their customer service verifying my credit card information. I was notified the camera I ordered only came with the Japanese language on it, I told them that was not what I wanted I don't speak Japanese. The salesman tried to force me into buying a lesser camera that he recommended, But that was not the camera I wanted. I was then told there was a 10% fee on an order that wasn't even 16 hours old yet. I told he salesman that I felt I was being railroaded and having my arm bent to buy a camera I didn't want or lose 10% of 1699. 00 dollars over a misunderstanding ( The web page never said the camera was in Japanese only, nice surprise). I felt totally setup and said I did not want to do business with them now. The salesman repeatedly called me a "jerk", and said I deserved to pay the 10% restock fee and he felt fine enforcing it. I finally hung up the phone since he got on a rant telling me how big a "Jerk" I was for not appreciating his strong arm tactics. Buyers beware these people are cruel and once you order you will pay even if all you got from them is slurs and someone taking your money and not providing any service.

SCAM ALERT! False advertising and bait and switch selling techniques. You will get a great deal on a digital camera or equipment purchase. You will have to confirm your order with a phone call. They will then tell you that the specs are different than what you ordered and try to upsale you on your purchase.
