DealDash has a rating of 4.5 stars from 4,481 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with DealDash most frequently mention customer service, gift cards and penny auction. DealDash ranks 1st among Auction sites.
This website is so under regulated. I have no doubt it will be under investigation in the next 12 months.
VERY misleading, very TRICKY and SCAMMY. Be warned, they make it sound easy and you'll find yourself spending hundreds of dollars and getting NOTHING. If you do win anything you'll find it's pretty poor quality.
Lots if bots bidding to drive up their revenue. It's expensive and lots of bots to drive up their revenue. Still fun.
Thank you for sharing your review with us Heather. Kindly note, there are no bots on the DealDash platform. All users are real users such as yourself and we have an excellent compliance team to ensure our terms of use are adhered to by our users. Do let us know if you need any assistance, we are here for you 24/7.
Easy to buy bids on paypal
I am not good at bidding as I lose almost all bids
Seem to only bid on bids with aggressive bidders and stay too long hoping to win
So spend all my money buying bids to get nothing
Not sure if I will buy again
Hi Carol, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear about the tough auctions. Please reach out to us at support@dealdash.com so we can turn your experience around, we look forward to hearing back from you!
You have ones that have such great bidding power. They wait for a newbie to run the bid up to about $5 then the Old deal dash members scramble and take over The newbie lose all their bids. Power in numbers. The only chance way to win is to buy a $#*!load of bids 600+ You pay more than it's worth because you just want to win to recoup your lost bids. This site isn't new user friendly at all. Deal dash is not fair to most. You have to many Bidding bullies. I think I'm just going to delete my account. No real chance
Hi Devon, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. There are many factors that can go towards the auctions such as numbers of bidders on that auction on a particular day, the promotion we are running for that day, the bidding strategy users are using, and the popularity of the item itself. We also offer a money back guarantee on the first bid pack purchase, along with a second chance guarantee for your first win on DealDash. Kindly reach out to support@dealdash.com and we will be more than happy to turn your experience around!
Best of the best. Don't be pushy. This is amazing ok!
Thank you so much for the 5 star review Galen, Happy Bidding :)
I recently bid on a 425 bid package. I purposely entered the bid late. Another bidder started long before me and must have placed more than 425 bids and couldn't have possibly come out ahead. I finally quit bidding, and someone else (third party) won. WTH DD are you putting Sleeper biders in the auctions just to bid us up?
Hi Stan, thanks for your comment. The winner in an auction is determined when the timer hits zero seconds, meaning the last bidder who placed the bid would have won the auction. Users can use our automated tool Bidbuddy to place bids for them and we recommend users to use Bidbuddy, as it guarantees the bids will be placed into the auctions. Just reach out to us directly and we will be more than happy to further investigate the auction for you.
I joined Deal Dash this weekend and was highly dissapointed and feel robbed. People have learned to game the system using bidding buddies. It happened to me in three of my five bids. Within seconds of stopping my bids someone wins? My bids are in Purple.
Thanks for your comment. We're sorry to hear of the inconvenience here. Users can use our automated tool Bidbuddy to place bids for them and we recommend users to use Bidbuddy, as it guarantees the bids will be placed into the auctions whenever it is their turn in the queue. Just reach out to us directly so we can further assist, thanks!
Went on deal dash wanted to see what they had they want credit card info right away used pay pal next thinv i know im kn the hook for $30! I didnt BUY ANYTHING! Disputing charge will get money back rip off!
We're sorry for the inconvenience here Wolfie. DealDash does operate on a pay to participate model where bids are required to be purchased in order to participate in the auctions. Just reach out to support@dealdash.com and we will be happy to assist with a full refund, thanks!
In order to get started with deal dash I had to buy bids. A half price sale got me 500 bids for $30. Looking at recent auction winners it soon became obvious that most auction winners were spending far more than 500 bids to win anything actually worth more than $30. The values indicated for products being auctioned were much higher than comparable products sell for. For example; the buy it now price for a stocking cap was $50, a two-pack of underweat was $95, a pair of flip flops was $88! The only items I saw that were priced correctly were gift cards. I tried several auctions and after spending 350 bids managed to win a $50 gift card for $1.38! My remaining 250 bids didn't get any more wins, so that gift card actually cost me $31.38. I felt ok about that until I discovered the Wilson & Miller store gift card I won is worthless. That store only lists about 35 products and every product is grossly overpriced. The least expensive product currently available is a set of 3 stainless magnetic parts trays listed for $95. I already own an identical set of those that cost $8. After more research it appears most of the products being auctioned on deal dash are from companies basically owned by the same people who own deal dash. This learning experience cost $31.38, plus about 8 hours spent bidding.
Now, for the good news. After filling out a complaint with customer service, they immediately refunded my original bid pack and then basically converted the gift card to 300 more bids. So I am back where I started a few days ago with a pool of bids to use on the site. No doubt I will end up attempting to win something. The site is very addictive and time-consuming, but people do spend hours playing solitaire or on gambling sites with fake money. Deal Dash costs real money up front to play. It is basically very low percentage gambling to win stuff you could buy and save a bunch of time.
UPDATE: So I had a pool of 300 bids and a little experience with how the auctions work. My 300 or so bids won 200 bids and those won nothing. Since I got most of my money back, the experience only cost me $6.39. I spent quite a few hours on the DealDash site basically losing to people who could spend more bids than I had available.
Thank you for taking the time to share a review with us Kevin. I'm happy to hear you were able to take advantage of our new user promotion to get double the first bid pack bids along with our money back guarantee on the first bid pack purchase. Our support team is available 24/7 to improve your DealDash experience.
The number of bids required to win an auction does vary from item to item and from auction to auction. For full transparency reasons we provide this data to our users to help them budget towards the auctions. There are great deals to be won on DealDash everyday! For example, a 2023 Yamaha 4WD was won for only 380 bids: https://www.dealdash.com/auction/11600016
DealDash wants to bring a wide range of exciting and new items to auction, and to do so we work with major retailers like Walmart and Amazon, as well as multiple brands and distributors from Aava to Wilson & Miller. It is the Manufacturer’s Standard Retail Price (MSRP) that is the base for our Buy It Now price. Of course, we are hoping you can take part in the auctions and win many of these items at a great discount.
DealDash is fun! I love their products and have won several. Customer service is also excellent
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a 5 star review for us Crystal, we are here for you 24/7 and Happy Bidding!
I really enjoy the variety of items on Deal Dash and will bid again. Thank you so much for giving me the flyers that help me in my bidding!
Sincerely, Jan
Thank you kindly for taking the time and leaving a review for us Jan! I'm happy to hear you are enjoying the flyers and the bids, Happy Bidding!
I'm a true actual victim…This site was set up by a genius! It's addictive to see the same players (if there real) your bidding against and try to beat them with your $$ and bids. It's addictive to actually win something, and see there fireworks screen when you do. Really NOT A GOOD DEAL unless your trying to throw $$ away. If you play you will always LOOSE more then you win. The house will win 90% of the time. Due to the addictive nature it's hard to stop until you see your bank account empty and max out credit cards. I'm in them 7k! And they loved me until I woke up! Save your money. It's usually cheaper to buy the item in a store. Items have INFLATED VALUES for those not savvy to know true values. Bids can and will go over there inflated values. This is not a deal people. Your fighting a loosing game here.
Thank you for your review Sherre. I'm happy to hear of your good wins on DealDash such as the rug you mentioned. We do recommend users to stick to a budget and if the auctions are too competitive, to wait for the auction to come up again and try again later. We have the past winner's history for full transparency which shows the number of bids used and the final auction price for the specific auction(s). We also recommend utilizing our Buy It Now option where you can buy the item at its retail value to receive the item along with all the bids back from the auction! Here are some more tips for you: https://www.dealdash.com/help/tips-and-tricks.
As you know we are not a normal retail store, and our customers are able to win great items at outstanding prices in the many auctions we have every day. We are not able to hold these auctions that finish at really low prices as well as match other stores' offers and discounts.

This is the BEST online auction site ever. The prices are reasonable, and the special offers and promotions are appealing. I would strongly recommend DealDash to anyone. Just Give It a Shot!
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a generous review for us Robert! I'm happy to hear you are enjoying the promotions and we are so lucky to have you in our DealDash community!
A way to enjoy myself and relax. A way to obtain items fro myself and family
Thank you so much for the 5 star review Kevin! I'm happy that you are utilizing your wins as gifts for yourself and your family, Happy Bidding!
Buy bids, bid on deals, and win! So much fun with very little money spent. You receive bonus bids often which is fantastic! The auctions reload frequently and so many different products. I have won many bids with very little money spent! I love deal dash!
Thank you so much for your fantastic 5 star review Sandra! I'm so happy to hear you are enjoying the auctions and of your great wins! DealDash LOVES YOU <3!
The gift cards are my favorites and bundles. It was a good idea to limit the gift cards to once a month winner. It gives a chance to others.
Hi Jose, thank you for taking the time to leave a 5 star review for us! I'm happy to hear you are enjoying the gift card and bundle auctions, Happy Bidding :)
Total scam. Got charged $70.00 instantly, Don't know why.
They should tell you all charges before becoming a member.

Kudos to DealDash on a brilliant and addictive product. As a fellow software dev I can appreciate that.
While *technically* not a scam, don't bother unless you have unlimited money and time to game the system because that's what happens.
Much like the ticket brokers, you will find yourself battling with players with unlimited resources who probably end up just relisting on the same DealDash site or eBay at best.
I just got suckered into trying it again after staying away for 2+ years and it's gotten even worse. You will see the same scoopers showing up in EVERY auction you get into and you just can't compete with their buying power.
Sure. Some great stuff goes for cheap. But unless it's something total crap, you almost certainly will not win.
Even if you avoid getting suckered into an auction early and refer to the minimum sell price from past history, you still usually get clipped at a price lower than what previously was the lowest sell price which in itself is suspect.
Bottom line. You have plenty of money and time fine. Drop at least 1000 bids on the item you want at 75% of the most recent lowest purchase price, and cross your fingers and probably lose anyways. But the manufactured suspense can be enjoyable if you have the time.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us Kevin. I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your DealDash experience. We have thousands of extremely loyal customers who have been with us for years, have scored countless incredible deals, and LOVE the intense, strategic, pay-to-bid auction model that we offer. Even when including the cost of bids and the final price paid, the vast majority of auctions are bought for less than retail price. How can that be true? Well, brands love working with DealDash because we can quickly liquidate their inventory without destroying their pricing power. You can view some of our great recent wins here:https://www.dealdash.com/winners and if there's anything we can do to improve your DealDash experience, please reach out to us so we can further assist right away!
You can buy $50 in bids which is say 20 bids you bid 20 times and after every bid someone out bids you so on bid 21 your out of bids down $50 but others keep bidding and since it only goes up 1 cent if no one bids after the time limit say after bid 22 it sells for 22 cents alot of people loose alot of money that's how these "deals" are paid for its a legal twist of words for people who take the easy way out instead of trying to run a actual business. Not founded in the USA enough said!
Hi Jon, thank you for your comment. We do not hide the fact that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and our business model is not based on tricking customers into purchasing something they don't understand, rather it is a unique twist on auctions where you pay to bid. That said, even when including the cost of bids and the final price paid, the vast majority of auctions are bought for less than retail price. We have thousands of extremely loyal customers who have been with us for years, have scored countless incredible deals, and LOVE the intense, strategic, pay-to-bid auction model that we offer. However, we understand that DealDash may not be for everyone, so we offer a 100% money-back guarantee on your first purchase of bids, no questions asked, so trying us out is risk-free. If there is anything we can do for you, please reach out to our amazing customer support team. Have an amazing day!

Answer: Thats a hard question to answer, because it depends on the article, and its value. I will say I have won some great Articles, and lost many, maby more. The more valuable the article the harder to win. Personally, I gave up on Deal Dash due to the BID STOMPING and Jumpers and the gready nature of some bidders, who stockpile bids. Also, even though Deal Dash supposedly has means to catch Buddy Bidding, I myself have caught at least 4 people doing buddy bidding, reported it, and nothing was ever done about it. Finally I no longer play on Deal Dash, for the reasons I mentioned, but thats my choice. Its up to you, on what you want to do. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hi Beatriz, I want to start this conversation by inviting you to read our Audit Conducted by Ernst & Young: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdf Fair & Honest is a symbolic capture of DealDash's core values, and these certainly start and end with our commitment to being humanistic. I would love to show this to you, how can we help? Please let me know. Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi William. If you do not win an auction you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You have the option to use the Buy it Now button. By using the Buy it Now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. If you do not want to use Buy it Now you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want, so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer: Hi Julie, I hope you are having a wonderful day I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works. Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. Please let us know if you have any other questions and be sure to read more about us here: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work Thanks so much for your great question, please feel free to reach back out and let us know if there's anything else you need. Answer: Hi Emogene! Great to hear you had a good experience and won a few items. Orders are usually delivered in 7-10 business days. I hope you enjoy your items. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Answer: Hi Kathy - All items are brand new. We work with top suppliers such as Walmart and Sears, who ship the items directly to your door! If you are unhappy with any item you receive, simply contact our support team and they will help you out. If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Answer: Hi Elizaabeth, Thank you for getting in touch. We offer all of our customers a full money back guarantee for the first bid pack purchase. Our payments team can get in touch with you and issue a refund. Please send me a number we can call. My email is adrian@dealdash.com
Answer: Hi Patricia, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sure this has been a misunderstanding. DealDash is audited by Ernst & Young, confirming that all bids are placed by real customers and all items are delivered. DealDash members and their acquaintances are strictly banned from taking part in the auctions. My guess is that another user may have chosen a user name similar to DealDash. If so, we'll need to change it to avoid confusion. Please send me an email with your user name, so I can find the auctions and spot the user. My email is adrian@dealdash.com I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi Jan, For new users, I normally recommend watching our How it Works video for a brief overview of what to expect from the auctions: http://www.dealdash.com/how-does-it-work DealDash has a 100% money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase and a winning guarantee. If you decide to give DealDash a try and don't win an auction with your first bid pack we'll return the bids back to your account free for a second chance. If you're still not satisfied with your DealDash shopping experience we'll be happy to refund your first bid pack purchase no questions asked. You can even keep any bids in your account or items you have won. Giving DealDash a try is risk free!
Answer: Hi Jasmine. All items on the site are brand new, factory sealed and come with standard manufacturer’s warranties. Vanessa, I am very sorry to hear you have felt that way. Could you please let me know your user name and I'll pull up your account? I'll be happy to assist with any concerns!
