Dealdash is my first experience with penny auctions. I love the concept and have won some nice items too. Some of the things I have won I was only able to have because I won them for such a low price. I thought there must be a catch but so far everything arrives new in box. I have had several occasions to write to customer service and it is never a cut and paste answer, which I hate. The emails have been personal, and I get specific answers to my questions. I was pretty impressed by that!
In the few months that I have been a customer, I watched DD have a huge growth spurt and being a former business owner myself, I watched the problems that went along with it. To me, they handled it very well, even with ups and downs, and kept me, just a customer, informed! It seems like things are back to normal with fast shipping and emails and I am happy with my experience with this company. I believe in telling people when I have had a good time with a company, because there are so many bad businesses out there. They seem to really work at doing a good job and I am happy with Dealdash.
Never again! I was an idiot and somehow believed I would at least break even with something on this site so I kept buying more and more bids and ended up with nothing. Lost $200. Not a good day.
I just tried this site last week and on my first bid pack I won a 14 inch toshiba laptop and it was part of the weekend where you didn't have to pay the auction price so I paid a penny for the computer plus the 78 dollars for bids but still a great deal I was so excited until now it's been over a week since I won and purchased the computer and I got an email that day saying they would send me a email verification when the item has been shipped it still has not been shipped this site is a scam they tell you you will win let you win something charge you for it but never send you the item and on top of that they refuse to answer my calls don't be a sucker nobody accually wins other than the people getting rich from our stupidity I knew this was to good to be true
I won a Canon power shot camera. It took less than a week to arrive. The camera is very nice and I am so happy with it. This was the first "big win" for me and it's very exciting! Thanks Deal Dash!
It asked me for my card info just to go purchase a bid package and as soon as i entered my info without pressing anything they took 78 dollars off my account no 800 number to call or anything DONT DO IT

I have had a look at your account and can see that the initial transaction was not processed as it failed the account verification process. In some cases this will show as a pending transaction even though it was not completed and DealDash did not process this payment.
These transactions usually clear off your account automatically after 3 business days however, if you contact your bank or card provider directly, they should be able to confirm this to you.

Deal dash has definitely entertained me to say the least some days are a blast and some days aren't so great but it's always entertaining even if I'm not always winning
Deal Dash is for entertainment purposes as far as I am concerned. I can honestly say that I spend less money at the casino because the chance that I will hit a jackpot payout is much greater. I find it odd that when I logged onto DD I was able to recognize a lot of other bidder names. No matter the time day or night, those same bidder were bidding on 3 or more auctions. Not good since they constantly seem to win the 9000, 8000, 5000 etc. bid packs so they have thousands more bids than I do so there is no point in even bidding. It's a waste of my bids (the ones I bought with cash). I use my bids wisely. I also noticed that those same "high rollers" are driving up the bids because they are greedy and can't seem to allow newbies to win (not even the small bid packs like the 100,125,150's) really?
I know I can't be the only one but I have noticed that the countdown clock experiences 2 -3 second delays when I am the highest bidder. How convenient. I think things would improve if the software was changed to not allow bidders to bid manually. Bidders will bump other bidders and the other bidder will not get those precious seconds added to their time. Someone needs to fix that because it is not fair to the other bidders, it also increases the cost of the bid.

1) On DealDash, we have a feature called "Every BidBuddy Counts". This means that as long as a bid is placed via BidBuddy, the user will receive the full 9 seconds in their Time as Highest Bidder, regardless of when the next bid is placed in the auctions. The time is added in batches rather than in real time. Bidders are able to place manual bids, BidBuddy bids, or a combination of both.
2) If you are experiencing delays or lags with the timer, we recommend ensuring you are using a stable internet connection. We also recommend using WiFi over a data connection, if possible. Recently I have experienced technical errors in the site. I bid on a keurig and a 600 bid auction yes both and at 4-3 seconds I attempted to place a bid and the site would not take these bids it simply did not no messages either I was very disappointed and lost several bids because of this I would be happy to tell about your great customer service for helping with this issue thank you and I would be happy to increase your rating it's just I'm tight on money and can't afford preventable errors like this-ik this ismost likely a problem on my end now reading your terms and conditions so just any support would help also I accidentally purchased a bid pack if that could be refunded if appreciate it thanks deal dash- that was my issue and they were quick to fix it highly appreciate thanks Dave
I am a loyal bidder on Deal Dash. I love the site and have a lot of fun whether I win or lose (don't really like losing)! My son won a "Far East Collection" painting for me. Yea! It arrived damaged. Customer Service was great! They emailed me a return slip and sent me a new painting. That one arrived damaged also. Same thing... another return slip and they sent me the third painting. Arrived damaged. After contacting them again and again, they are not responding. I would love to take care of this matter but I feel as though they are "dodging" me. In fact, I feel it is Deal Dash's issue with the packaging. Paintings are fragile and they are being shipped in flimsy cardboard boxes. There is NO protection for the frame and the shipping company straps them down. They get squished which results in a completely unacceptable product. Deal Dash contacted me about this issue after I posted this review. I again received a return postage and a promise to have the fourth one delivered in excellent condition. They have been more than sincere in remedying the situation. I will keep updating as this is resolved. Like I said in the beginning, I am an avid DealDash FAN! This site has been true to its word! (so far)
I have had a TON of trouble with this site. First, I was getting booted out of auctions, losing the bids that I had purchased. They gave me a whole 200 bids back. They did not count how many bids I had used, or the TIME I wasted trying to win my items. Second, I sent 8 emails to be contacted about the loss of bids (before they sent the 200) and I waited over a week before I filed a complaint with paypal. Then all of a sudden, someone emailed me back with the 200 bids offer. But, when I responded that wasn't enough for what I used, hmmmm... no email back! To top off all that, the gift cards I won and also paid for (the buy it now option) I have not recieved! I have sent emails again, being ignored. I have EIGHT gift cards that I am waiting for and not a one has came. Good thing I didn't plan to use those solely for Christmas and had a plan B. HORRIBLE COMPANY.
I love dealdash. There is a large variety of items always. With free shipping and the buy it now feature, you never lose. I have saved 1000's of dollars on items I would normally buy.
I did an ooops online navigating thru DealDash and realized at this point I did not want to continue and my fee was reversed by a very polite, patient and efficient DealDash customer service provider.

I Love Deal Dash! I enjoy bidding on items. Sometimes I win but I usually lose =) I always use buy it now to get my bids back even though I don't have that many or not at all. I just got married on Feb 18th and I am trying my best to teach my wife how to use deal dash with my account but she is learning not to go for big ticket items like TV's and Camera's She is basically aiming for small kitchen / bath items which we need. I never have enough bids to book a bid buddy so I just bid and hopefully I will win something but now I notice there are lots of people on this site...
I will never delete my account. I have been trying my best to get friends, co workers to sign up. I tell them about it then I forget to give them the referral about me... Oh well I love Deal Dash The shipping is extremely fast... and its free.

Another business that will take ur money and u may come home empty handed. Company takes all major credit cards for auctions on merchandise, yet will not refund ur money when u lose these auctions!

On DealDash, if you do not win an auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy It Now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids.

I had a lamp I had won sent to the wrong address in a wrong state!. Deal Dash corrected the problems and made things right with me. Where they could have said not our problem.
