Not enough items. Too many bidders... seems like its just cheaper to go buy the products now. It used to be fun... now its just expensive
This auction site is great! I have never had a bad experience. The Deal Dash people are so nice and will go to all lengths to help you out. I have saved hundreds of dollars on so many things. I'm never leaving Deal Dash for any other auction site!
Good choice of merchandise. Temporary reduced price on bid packs was good.
Auctions usually go on for too long a period of time.
At first I had a great experience, but lately it is like some team up and some just run up the prices... how can someone bid for hours on an $80 item?
It was a good sale. A couple of them went over the price if you were to buy it. Shipping was extremely fast. I like that. It is rather slow bidding.
Fewer prizes now offered that interest me. I check daily to see if anything is what I would want. Dealdash was more fun before 2013: fewer bidders, better prizes. I notice that many of the items offered now have terrible reviews on Amazon, so, not top-quality merchandise.
The site used to be fun and you could actually win items without spending a ton of money. Now it belongs to those who over bid on items and the same people always dominating the big ticket items. You rarely get a chance to bid on and item without a bid spender jumping in a the 11th hour and stealing your hopes to win. Just the other day I lost to a person bidding on a ipod. The next time a similar ipod was up for bid, the same person was bidding to win that one too. Not just a few bids but 500 to 1000. The site is for the greedy and the rich people that love to gamble. There is no reason other than to resell the items they win that a person needs 5 cameras, dozens of laptops and ipas. I have also pointed out to Deal Dash and complained about two people playing as a team. I had proof of it and they did nothing about it but assure me that they would check into it. In the meantime they won and I was out hundreds of bids. I have been a bidder and a happy customer of Deal Dash for nearly a year. I have recommend it to several people. Not no more. The site has gotten terrible since the Christmas season. Letting people win 3 big ticket items a week is ridiculous. They should make it one a month.
I find the staff at deal dash to be very helpful. They respond very quickly and are professional. I enjoy the site and generally speaking I'm a pretty competitive person. However i do find it disheartening to loose so many auctions to over-bidders. I would like to see something put in-place that would stop a bidder from bidding once they have exceeded the purchase value in bids... the other item i would like to see is for the dashboard to have a way for the user to delete auctions they do not intend to buy... my dashboard can get really cluttered up and it's hard to follow the auctions i really intend to buy it now on! Thank you for asking for my comments. I hope you take them seriously! ~Donna~
While I won a lot of small auctions, I enjoyed using deal dash and like the idea of free shipping. I did notice a lot of the same names winning and figure they have either won or bought a lot of bids. I can't afford to keep up. Last tried a BP card and used all 200 of my bids but didn't even come close. I never expected it to go for $44.
It used to be fun to bid and win once in a while but now its too competitive and not fun anymore. The wins are now far and few between. Sorry I don't visit as often as I used to.
I prefer the original deal dash over the current format. My experience is good to fair, I only play occasionally now due to the format
Not bad. Too many people overbid, so even if you are patient and play it right, you end up paying full price. It would be nice if you did as Quibids does and cut people off when their bidding exceeds the BIN price.
Don't care to go to "the boats" for games of chance & this fits my speed without all the distractions. Won a few, lost a few but its all fun.
Hmmmm. Big Dogs are hogging the site. The newbies and the little guys don't stand a chance, even with bid buddy working. Somewhere, somehow I think your site has been invaded by an alien whom knows how many bids you have to play. I would drop the win mandates to ONE big one and Four Little ones, to give the people who like your site like I do, to see a real deal. Same people winning the big items all the time. I like your 20cent bid pack idea, think that is a plus side.
They will throw you off the site and take what bids you have left if you violate the rules and RESELL the items YOU WIN! Stupid rule
Very nice auction site. Great deals at affordable bid pricing.
Love DealDash products and normally customer service. I'm still a little upset that I BIN an Apple Mini iPad and very shortly thereafter the BIN price was, and still is, reduced quite a bit. Customer service basically blew me off, very unusual based on my other contacts with them. I thought I should be refunded the difference or at least receive bids equal to the value of the BIN price change. Out of all my winnings and BIN only the touchless soap dispensers were defective (same service rep did nothing about this either). I love that BIN is available when I don't win!
I have enjoyed DealDash however I simply cannot afford the bids most of the time as I live on disability but I do enjoy the site thank you!
It was good but people get a little crazy in the rooms!
Answer: Thats a hard question to answer, because it depends on the article, and its value. I will say I have won some great Articles, and lost many, maby more. The more valuable the article the harder to win. Personally, I gave up on Deal Dash due to the BID STOMPING and Jumpers and the gready nature of some bidders, who stockpile bids. Also, even though Deal Dash supposedly has means to catch Buddy Bidding, I myself have caught at least 4 people doing buddy bidding, reported it, and nothing was ever done about it. Finally I no longer play on Deal Dash, for the reasons I mentioned, but thats my choice. Its up to you, on what you want to do. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hi Beatriz, I want to start this conversation by inviting you to read our Audit Conducted by Ernst & Young: https://dealdash.files.wordpress.com/2014/12/dealdash_ey_audit.pdf Fair & Honest is a symbolic capture of DealDash's core values, and these certainly start and end with our commitment to being humanistic. I would love to show this to you, how can we help? Please let me know. Adrian Community Manager
Answer: Hi William. If you do not win an auction you will not automatically get the bids back to your account. You have the option to use the Buy it Now button. By using the Buy it Now option you will get the item for retail price and all bids back to your account that you used in the auction. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they both get the item they initially wanted, as well as retain all their bids. If you do not want to use Buy it Now you will unfortunately lose the bids. We recommend our users to bid on items they really want, so that if they lose the auction, they can still get the item and their bids back. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer: Hi Julie, I hope you are having a wonderful day I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works. Each bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. Answer: Hi Elizaabeth, Thank you for getting in touch. We offer all of our customers a full money back guarantee for the first bid pack purchase. Our payments team can get in touch with you and issue a refund. Please send me a number we can call. My email is adrian@dealdash.com
Answer: Hi Patricia, Thank you for getting in touch. I am sure this has been a misunderstanding. DealDash is audited by Ernst & Young, confirming that all bids are placed by real customers and all items are delivered. DealDash members and their acquaintances are strictly banned from taking part in the auctions. My guess is that another user may have chosen a user name similar to DealDash. If so, we'll need to change it to avoid confusion. Please send me an email with your user name, so I can find the auctions and spot the user. My email is adrian@dealdash.com I look forward to hearing from you. Best, Adrian Community Manager
