I had placed 3 orders for silver coins and received payment and order confirmation along with tracking numbers. After my money was taken, I received 1 email that one of my orders was shipped. After a few days I decided try tracking my order and my order number could not be found. I then called customer service and I was told that someone had canceled my orders. The lady I spoke to on the phone said that my card was not charged when in fact it was. Do NOT buy from these bogus $#*! people. They are a scam.

Last month on February 6 I called to cancel an ongoing order from Danbury meant. I was assured that it was canceled and I would receive no more orders. I received another order today on the 28th when I spoke to customer service they could not give a good reason and told me I would have to return the item and wait for a refund When I asked to speak to a supervisor the supervisor hung up on me. I was not rude. I'm very frustrated and would suggest anyone purchasing from this company. Read the fine print and notice that purchase of one coin may lead to a subscription where they will send you coin after coin each month if they do when you attempt to cancel be sure and ask for that in writing ask for names, record dates, etc.

I ordered a bracelet for my daughter for Christmas. The bracelet was extremely cheap and not worth the money. On my February statement I noticed another order from danbury mint for another bracelet I never ordered. They must store your credit card information and continue to send you jewlery you don't order. Notified my credit card company and disputed it. You can't get through to customer service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY WILL SCAM YOU

At the end of October I made a small purchase. Received an order confirmation email, shipping notification and received the product I ordered. No problem. At the end of November another charge from them showed up on my credit card for a purchase that I did not make. I received No order confirmation, No shipping notification, and to date, No product. I have reported this to my bank and they are investigating. Unfortunately the charge had already been paid so I have to now wait until the investigation is completed to get my refund. I did attempt to contact the company but to do so you have to have a confirmation number which again, I never received.

Purchased coin for good price and no indication that I was signing up for recurring charges. Received a $70 charge a month later which was quickly refunded but they tried to tell me that I was clearly informed that my first purchase signed me up for a recurring collection. I went back and reviewed everything and nowhere was this mentioned nor did I give permission anywhere to charge card. Watch out! Just don't buy anything from here.

Some time ago I ordered a single silver coin from Danbury mint and promptly forgot about it, until weeks later three wildly overpriced coins arrived in the post and by 'overpriced', I mean at least four times the actual value, with an invoice stating these were an ongoing part of a collection, that my debit card would be charged. The charge did go through, Danbury customer service appears to be non-existent and I have been forced to cancel my debit card to avoid further withdrawals. Fortunately my bank has been very helpful, so these scammers will not prey on my account ever again.

Elder abuse
December 4, 2023

This company has completely taken advantage of my 85 year old mother. Sending her jewelry a couple times a month. Don't know if she initially placed an order but this is absolute elder abuse! As of now she owes them $566 for jewelry that she says she has never received. Please look out for your elderly loved ones!

Watch this site and heritage coins as they are a total rip off. I have never known any company in my whole life who charge full postage cost per item instead of all together. So for example coins they charge you £3.99 per item I wanted 8 items in total. With my total price of the coins being about £30 and the postage is even more than cost of the items at over £30! They also have tricked people into paid subscription of coin services for coins that are at ridiculous prices and not worth the value whatsoever!

Terrible web site, items stated to ship in 2-3 days, however you don't find out your item won't ship until after Christmas, after you purchase your item. They don't let you know it's a later shipping while your buying it. Then to make matters worse, Their customer service dept. won't answer their phone.

Army Jacket

This was my first purchase thru Danbury Mint. I felt they had a good reputation and that I would get a good price and good product. When I got the Jacket it was nice but it was over priced. I could have made it for way less. I paid $175.00. I could have made it for 80.00. My major complaint was that I started getting ads in my email. Like 10 a day,. I think it is too much...Not saying I would not order from them again but, I will be careful about the product and price.

I purchased a pair of earrings for my wife in 2017. My wife pulled the earrings out of the box today (May 6,2024). The earrings were never worn. The earrings were tarnished and two of the stones were missing. I called customer service and was not satisfied with the response. Even though it's been eight years, the earrings were never worn. I was offered a credit for a new purchase because they no longer carry that item. I don't want to purchase anything else from them. I expect Jewelry to last longer than eight years especially if it hasn't been worn.

Disappointed

My husband purchased the forever birthstone necklace with our names on it for Christmas. You need a magnifying glass to read our names. It is so tiny. I would've sent it back, but it was the thought behind it for Christmas. I would not recommend it to anyone else. The army ring is beautiful.

Ordered personalized diamond pendant in early Dec.Rec'd 1 week before Christmas as promised. With WRONG NAMES inscribed. Called customer service and was promised one with right names would arrive before Christmas. Didn't. Today was told arrive by Jan 13th...I'm doubtful.Never again.

I have been collecting Danbury Mint NFL football player figurines for years. The quality of the figurines are outstanding, Not only do I collect them, I also purchase them as gifts for family members. Currently I am waiting for the Jason Hurts figure. One note can you make some Las Vegas Golden Knights figurines?

The Customer Service Representative for Danbury Mint was very rude to me. I called to complain about duplicate orders I received. I ordered the military fleece jacket with a USMC patch and my nickname on it. Danbury Mint sent me 2 of the aforementioned items. I only placed one order. I told the representative that I only ordered 1 jacket, but was sent two. He said in a very rude tone, no you ordered two. He said you must have hit a wrong button or something. I felt like he was calling me a liar. I have been a customer of Danbury Mint for circa 20 years. I don't appreciate the tone in which the representative spoke to me in and insinuating that I was not telling the truth. Ergo, I will never order from the Danbury Mint ever again! In addition, to the rude treatment I received, the fleece jackets are cheaply made and the price is outrageous! I'm done with the Danbury Mint!

I'm sorry I made the mistake of ordering from this company again. I've had issues with payed orders going unfulfilled in the past but a family member was interested in a particular item and I said I would look into obtaining it. So I put the order through on the Danbury Mint website. The funds were drawn from my checking account within minutes but no confirmation email. I spoke with a customer service supervisor and was told that a confirmation email would be sent immediately. I still haven't heard anything. Don't waste your time with the Danbury Mint there products are junk anyway. There are many many more reputable coin sellers who are much more comfortable to do business with.

I purchased the first and last year production of the Morgan silver dollar. My price was around $260. Danbury Mint sent me the least expensive 1878 coin. I can buy these coins on eBay for less than $100. If you are not an experience coin dealer don't buy from these thieves. Jesse James was a gentleman. When he robbed you he used a gun.

I have been trying to contact Danbury Mint about an order. I have found their Customer Service to be pretty much non-existant and my frustration is growing by the minute. There is no way to dircet contact, they will not acknowledge an email. The 800 number they have is a recording and there is no way to bypass it. I tried answering all the questions it asked, and just got frustrated and quit. I guess I have just thrown away a couple of hundred bucks on something I was trying to purchase for my wife. (I do have an order nr but I can't upload it (?) and this system does not provide a way to type it in. Sorry

The problem that I have with this ring is that it does not look anything like the photo or video of the ring on your website. Your company should post the actual photo of the actual ring being sent to me. I am a Army Veteran who was both proud and excited to receive my ring to the point that I was going to gift one to two other Army Vets but after seeing the poor quality of the ring, I have changed my mind. Not only did you loose two additional customers, you will also loose my business as well.

The two positive things I want to say is that both the Customer Service person I talked to and their manager were both very nice and apologized for any inconvenience. I want to thank the two young ladies for being so caring and understanding. Keep up the great customer service ladies.
