Well I needed a few goodies on my new bike and with have an rpm account shipping was fast. Site had exact.fit no brainer parts section and away I went. Bought an open box seat saved over $80 on a saddlemen. Self taught myself how to reupholster the passenger seat pylon. Tail tidy of course and a shogun frame slider kit. Instructions we wishy washy for shogun but I YouTubed my way through it.

This was my first time purchasing motorcycle tires and the staff I called at the store was very great and helpful. I proceeded to order online after speaking with the Brookfield WI store associates to ensure I had the right tires and price. The only thing I had trouble with was paying using my venmo account. I used my bank account instead than and the transaction went through fine. I suggest maybe exploring the glitch with the venmo pay to address that, or just take venmo pay option off as it was very frustrating. Thanks for the sale and the assistance from the Brookfield WI store.
Starting with my receiving a text (after having received an email confirmation) asking me to confirm the purchase with the WRONG purchase price that I (understandably) replied "Call me", which then resulted in the sale being cancelled, then the cancellation email provided a phone number that I called and was told that they couldn't help me but they'd "get a message to the people that could" and I could expect a call back, which never happened.
I finally called again and they gave me an email address which I used and Bryce K there, responded that the reason was due to the text message not having been confirmed.
(Of course I didn't confirm it, it was not correct! And by the way, who sends out a confirmation text for purchases?!? When I purchased my motorcycle on my card, a slightly larger purchase amount as I'm sure you can imagine, I never got a confirmation request! And again, I'd already received a confirmation email!)
Having confirmed this was the issue I emailed him back and asked if the gift card I'd used would have the amount put back on it so that I could still use it if I re-ordered the item.
I never heard back.
So I tried to re-order the item.
The gift card was of course now no longer good.
So I called the number... again.
I explained the situation and the gentleman was helpful and put the amount into my account so that I would have it when I ordered it.
I did mention that after all the hoops I had to jump through, and it being the day before Thanksgiving, it's delivery was now going to be delayed probably significantly, it would be nice if it could be rush delivered, but he said because of the battery it could not be. (insert skepticism)
So of course its delivery was as I expected significantly delayed from when I was originally hoping to get it.
And in a final middle finger salute from fate as it were, Fed-Ex for some inexplicable reason got confused figuring out how to get 15 miles from one city to the next near me which cost yet another delay of even one more day.
Honestly, I should have just gone to Target.
Really bad experience. If you're going to text me and ask me to confirm my order and include the order number and price, then make sure the price is the price I paid, or the retail price. It wasn't the correct price and that messed up my order, and therefore made it delay. It ain't that hard, it ain't rocket science. I had to jump through more hoops than I really should have to buy something from you guys. And I probably won't again.
The website was nice, but the best part of my experience was picking up at the Cycle Gear Shenendoah location in TX. Raye is the best, she is always helpful AND honest. I will be returning again just on her assistance alone! The store itself is clean & well organized. Lots of gear at good prices.
Cycle gear was great about price match, there was a shipping issue. Then no installation instructions, online video from Puig has been taken off line.

I has looking for a out of stock item, luckily I was able to place a online order in person and pick it up at store. Took less time than expected and received a call when it arrived! It was fast and simple thanks to the employees who were of great help.
I received my item 2 days ago… not sure if the gloves are supposed to be so tight. Attempted going to the store but it opens at 10 am and I'm at work by 9. Then it closes before I make it back home. Just sorry I can't get a real person to help and your store hours are not convenient.

Although I was pleased with the quality of my product I expected a 2 day priority delivery with my RPM Membership. Unfortunately this is not the only order that has not met delivery expectations. No notification is made that delivery will be longer than 2 days until tracking data is provided then its impossible to do any thing about.

The package was supposed to be delivered on wednesday but was delivered on friday. I missed the only day this week that would have been ride worthy because I didn't have any type of winter gloves.
Original delivery date was to be Friday November 28.
Boots started from warehouse on East Coast. Were stalled in Illinois over Thanksgiving holiday with no updates. New delivery date was set for December 4. Boots were then delivered on December 1.
Just not a good delivery, FedEx never exceeds expectations

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
