I've had a overall good experience every time I've used the cyclegear website. The only complaints are inconsistencies with the sizing across products, the generally confusing sizing chart guides, and a overall poor selection of women's riding gear or equivalent sizes in men's//one size fits all.

Ordered front tire for my harley it came from vegas arrived on a friday 2 oclock at fedex facility about 2 miles from store was suppose to be delivery on saturday it wasnt that could all be on fedex. So monday comes along i contact cycle gear about will someone be there to mount the tire i was told yes so i take rim down to store after the tire had been delivered i ask if i can wait while they mount it seeing im 25 miles away i was told that the person wont be in for 2 hours its 3pm when told that. So i drive the 25 miles back home and wait i call at 6 pm to see if tire is done and they tell me no that is all they said no so i drive the 25 miles go pick up my tire and rim and cause i found a shop only 2 miles from me that charges the same amount to mount and balance. Now cycle gear claims they mount and balance says it right on store windows in front. What upset me the most is when i asked about getting it mounted the lady claimed the person would not be in for 2 hours and i know dam well that was a lie. I mean really who would have a tire mounter come in at 5 pm when they close at 7pm. DONT CLAIM TO MOUNT TIRES WHEN THAT IS NOT TRUE. DONT LIE TO CUSTOMERS OR YOU WILL LOSE THEM FOR LIFE.
Outstanding customer service! My daughter and I just got our motorcycle endorsement and went to buy gear. They took the time to explain what to look for on a helmet and how to make sure for a proper fit. Even tho this store is 2 hours away from our residence it was more than worth it.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
