I bought a pair of Metzler 888's for my Honda CTX 1300D and I love them! I've put on just over 100 miles so far in temps ranging from 60-95 and they are smooth and hold the road nicely. I haven't noticed any pulling on tar strips, but I'm not sure I've ridden over any fresh tar yet. Had them mounted and balanced at Sills Honda on Brook Park Rd near Parma, OH

I ordered a new tire to be sent to San Jose, Ca store, tire arrived on time but the store employees could not take my wheel to put the new tire on because they don't do tire changes there. They told me I would have to come back between 9am and 5pm and have a shop in back of store that is not Cycle Gear do the service. This is inconvenient and I have had to fix several bikes of friends that had their bikes worked on by that shop. From now on I will have my tires shipped to the Gilroy store and do the drive or have a friend drop off my wheel for me.
I ordered riding jeans and they arrived in a timely manner. They are great products and I will be purchasing more in the future. Use the sizing guide to get the right size for each different item as they will all fit differently
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
