Make sure to place the visor against a black background to see the full effect. I purchased the mirrored version and with it just in the bag in the open, it looks like a non mirrored shield with just a slightly darkened tint. However, once installed in the helmet, this visor really turned into a mirror
Arrived as described, bike stops now, came into the store on time.
The sales person was very helpful, even checking stock as my size was not on display, but no luck. Arrangements were made to have the helmet and spare shield shipped to my home, and that worked beautifully.

The employees barely help or talk to you. Ordered tires and they wouldn't put them on and never know what they actually carry in store. Just my experience though.
The visor is useless, I couldn't even see it while wearing the helmet. The helmet felt nice at first but it pushed on my ears in a way that made them hurt after about 20 minutes. It also caught the wind more than my old street helmet even without the top visor. I still think the helmet is a great value, just not for me.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
