I needed a fix for my Schubert helmet visor being loose, so I went to the store. They didn't have any of the kits available, so Hugh ordered one for me. He said it should be at my house in about 5 to 7 days.
Obviously, the warehouse has a different agenda. I got it almost 3 weeks later.
It provided many choices and it was easy. Other customers provided good ratings.
I purchased a set of hard side cases for my bike, they were advertised as open box, but as new, so I suspected they were a display model that was being taken down. They didn't show up and the tracking information was very vague. They didn't seem to move at all. I called customer service and they believed they were lost and refunded my money. A couple weeks later they showed up, but someone had just thrown them in a box with no packing material and they were damaged (scratched and scuffed up). I called customer service again and sent them some pictures and they sold them to me at a considerable discount. I kept them and I will use them, but I will most likely have to paint them to make them look nice.

Went to store to make sure of fitment, had it ordered showed up in 3 days perfect.
I was able to order over the phone and the boots were here the next day.
They ordered tires they I wanted without an issue and a couple business days later they arrived. I dropped off the rims I had and they were mounted and balanced the same day. 10/10
Buying the product was easy...getting the product from the delivery provider I did not like. On trac kept saying they were going ro deliver and they said we were closed when the shop was fully open. Cycle gear good on track not so much.

I always leave with a smile on my face because the customer service and the product is always great. This the main reason I shop at Cycle Gear. The prices are also reasonable on most of the products. I enjoy how the sales represenitives welcome you when you walk into the store and they let you know that they are there to help you. Always friendly, professional, and helpful.

The jacket I ordered was discounted due to damage but, there was more damage when arrived then what was showed in the pictures.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
