They made it easy to return the jacket. The sizing of the RSD women's jacket was too small in the diameter of the arms and body. The large was cut for a very slim lady.
I signed up for a 10% off promo code and when checking out I couldn't use it. Not happy about that. Needed to return an item and return page wouldn't load. Luckily someone from customer support did quickly respond to my email and helped me with my return. Very happy with the quality of the product and fast shipping time.

Having an older phone means it's less likely to walk in to the store and finding a case for the specific phone model. Thankfully, warehouses are a thing, and Cycle Gear allows for delivery to the store! Got an email once the order was sent out from the warehouse, and another when it was delivered to the store. Local staff was friendly and helpful in verifying that what came in was ideal for my equipment.
I walked in and they had the Shoei in the size I needed. I got to try it on and an associate helped with the fitment. Unfortunately, they didn't have the color I wanted in store but they were able to order and ship it to my door and it arrived in 2 days! I would recommend anyone looking to buy their first helmet to buy from Cyclegear.
I tried many helmets ( mostly online orders) but had to return quite a few. The issues were mainly uncomfortable fit or a little too big. The staff at the Knoxville Cycle Gear were great. Very patient and understood the importance of a correct fit. After many helmets I fell in love with the Arai Regent X helmet. It is very comfortable and fits me perfectly. Very satisfied with Cycle Gear, especially the staff in Knoxville Tn. Thank you all.

I ordered a set of progressive shocks that were discounted because they were "slightly blemished." The rubber inserts were dry rotted and completely cracked thru to the point that they could not be installed. It was obvious they had been installed and had a quite a bit of milage on them. When I called to return them I explained all that to the rep and he said that's what slightly blemished means. Really?

I ordered two tires. The shipping from time of order to the Modesto store was very quick, I believe only two days and the I picked them up in store. Nothing against CycleGear, but one of the tires wasn't as new as I would have hoped. The rear was made in early 2024 the front was early 2023, not an issue at all. Got both mounted and they look and perform great on the bike.

The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
