If you order anything expensive ship to store as nearly $1000 worth of gear was nearly stolen off my front steps my recomendation is for large value order a signature should be req for delivery or you should send it to the store

Purchased new tires for a Harley, Don't think they have much experience with HD only sport bikes and lightweight tires? After purchasing the tires from Cycle Gear I was charged an addition $43 per wheel for mounting. Charged for tire recycle fee, New stem and mounting.

I love shopping at Cycle Gear because the staff are well educated in the products and love what they do. And this is for every Cycle Gear store I've been to, and especially so at the Colorado Springs location.
Not sure why this happened but for some reason the shipper decided to drop the package off next to the trash cans on the street instead of going up the driveway and putting the package next to the house. Almost got picked up for trash!
Had a great, easy experience ordering my new Icon helmet from Cycle Gear. I chose to do the order in store, the sales associate was kind and helpful. No nonsense, straight to the point. Received my gear within 3 days of the order. 10/10 would recommend Cycle Gear both in store and online ordering.
Helmet true to sizing. Great half Helmet with the zip out/in ear/neck pad. I do wish the visor was a bit longer, but then the "lift" at higher speeds might be a problem. (I could find out by attaching some black plastic to that visor). Delivery time was a little long, but it was free.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
