Have the RPM membership and product didn't ship in 2 days as stated it would. Taking a page from Amazon's prime of they say they have 2 days shipping but the item doesn't' arrive in two days (probably just the way things are now a days with false advertising and limitation in shipping partners being able to literally deliver). Cyclegear did ship the item quickly but it didn't show up in the time advertised with having an RPM membership. Haven't found the RPM membership to be all that beneficial and your mileage may vary. I signed up for RPM because overall it saved me more money on my helmet even buying the membership, so I won't be renewing when it comes time.
Website is easy to use. Great prices. The delivery was fast. The store mounted and balanced the tire while I waited. The staff were very friendly.

Overall it was okay. I ordered a helmet online. Took a while to be notified about my purchase and receive a receipt (no big deal). I did not receive a delivery confirmation through email or call. I happened to be near the store and dropped in to see if it was delivered. They found my package quickly. Customer service was good at the store.
It was earlier that first stated which was a nice surprise. It was exactly as described and is a great new look and feel on my bike.
Tires delivered to local Cycle Gear and installed there. Had to wait a few days, but received tires in time for a Fall trip. Communication from the store was good.

It's the dumbest system I have seen. If you order in store with cash they have to buy a gift card with the cash to order it online. Ridiculous.

I actually went in store to check my size first and see if there was anything in store that I liked. Unfortunately I didn't find anything I waned, so I logged on at home and found the helmet I ordered and am very pleased with it. It was on Sale, so great price and it fits well.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
