The women's Gerbing vest fits well and has the right amount of heat under my riding jacket in 40 degree temps. So far have worn it for three all day rides on level 2 heat and have been toasty warm. Neck is a little too snug for comfort but with a gaiter on and keeping the neck warming portion tucked in, no complaints. Game changer for me riding in cold temps.

Ordered front and back tires for my 19 FLTRU. Got her July 4th hence Liberty as my wife calls her or Libby for short. Got the tires in enough time to put them on and test ride before the new years blessing of the bikes.

Bought Sedici racing suit. When it was shipped to the store it was falling apart where the aramid fibers are sowed to the leather. The suit was returned to the warehouse in Las Vesgas and a new one shipped. Upon picking up the new one - I checked the suit - this one was even worse - same spot.
I ordered the helmet in store on Dec 20 with a expected arrival date of Dec 23. The helmet arrived Dec 21. My only complaint is the size of the helmet is smaller than the size chart recommends.

Called into my local Cycle Gear to check tire availability for my Royal Enfield Himalayan.
They only had one for the front so I went ahead and ordered a set of tires and tubes. Was told they could take up to 5 days to show up, they arrived in 3. Staff was knowable and polite. I took my wheels in the next day to have my old tires removed and the new ones mounted and balanced and again, staff was polite and efficient, they called me in a little under an hour for pickup. I am very happy with the whole experience.
Dainese Pro Armor II jacket was on sale and delivered on time. I really like the customer service focus of cycle gear. Wish more products like this were on deep sale (50% or more).

Staff at the cycle gear in Oxnard are the nicest and they are very supportive and give you plenty of time to browse and try on everything and makes sure you have the right fit.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
