Then I waited for days to get the tire installed and nothing happened. Had to take it to another shop to get the tire installed. I was scheduled to go on a week ride the next day. They probably could use some more experienced help
I was impressed with how well Cycle Gear worked with me to find the exact right jacket I wanted. I had found one that I really liked. It was marked down but not in my size and another one could not be found elsewhere. The salesman worked to find me one that was a newer style of the one I originally wanted.
Stop by my local Cycle Gear to order a new set of tires for my 300 Rally. Tires were on sale so I did not receive my military discount. They did do a second day delivery. I will be back for my next set.
I have been a Cycle Gear customer since they first opened in Boise/Meridian, Idaho. (I was actually a customer before then purchasing in other cities as well) I have dealt almost exclusively with Shawn the entire time. Good guy, fellow rider, always willing to help. That dude has been in that store since pretty close to when it was first opened. Cycle gear should really acknowledge him somehow. Send him on a vacation, send him to MOTOGP something cool. He does a good job, and has been doing it forever!
Shopping for a helmet and they have many to choose from I found just the right one. They measured my head ask how much I wanted to spend ( high end for me) and took me to the right helmet. Easy.

I recently purchased a rear motorcycle tire at a Cycle Gear store. Although they didn't have the size I needed in stock they were able to order one and have it delivered directly to my house. The tire arrived very quickly and I am very happy with the service and turnaround time. Thank You!
I received the tire in 2 days at a good price, but it was manufactured in 2022. That's a 3 year old tire that has a shelf life of 7 years. I will more than likely wear it out in 4 years, so l am keeping it, but not real happy with a 3 year old tire.
Always been satisfied with the web-site experience.
The store I use seems to have limited inventory. Poor selection of half helmets, shoes, etc. The young lady who helped me was helpful... but not happy... never smiled. Maybe it's a badass biker thing, idk, I'm a 70 y. O. new trike rider.
We didn't realize when we ordered a shirt for my grandson that our credit that we got when signing up had already been used in the store. The woman I spoke with got it all worked out, and she was extremely friendly and helpful. My grandson loves his O'Neal jersey that we purchased for him. We plan to order from the website again in the future.
The guys in the shop were very attentive and patient helping me find my first riding jacket. Once we found the style I liked, they found my color online and had it shipped to my house. 10/10 customer service at the Pinellas Park store!
My wife and I purchased a helmet for each of us to start our new riding season from Cycle Gear. The sales rep. Took excellent care of us. When the helmets arrived at home my wife thought she needed a larger size. We went to the store and exchanged one of the helmets for a larger size. The sales rep. Ordered a new helmet for us and it was shipped to our house. The helmets fit perfectly and the care we received at the store was second to none. Highly recommend them.
Andrew was as professional and straightforward as ever - he always tells me pricing, expected turnaround time, and policies directly. I got a new set of tires and tire mounting service, and as always, the team there was quick, friendly, and helpful. Andrew also provided a nice list of available tires, their pros/cons, and recommended a set that struck a good balance between price and performance (which I purchased).
I'll always come to this Cycle Gear for tire work on my bike, it's the best.
I went into cycle gear and tried on a bunch of different helmets, the guy who was helping me out was great! I figured out the size I needed, they didn't have it in store so he ordered the one I wanted for me. Everything was easy and the helmet is great! I just wish the delivery time didn't take so long, other then that I give it all a 10/10
Product was exactly as displayed. The one thing I wish to see in the future, is the product picture kind of deceived me and I thought the back seat cushion was included. I seen it wasn't in the fine print but the main picture on the website should be whats included and then add extras showing additional accesorries, other than that, it was great.
The process to order the items was very easy and straight forward, now as far the delivery process I am at a loss for words as I placed my order online and asked for the items to be shipped to my home. Somehow all my items were shipped to the local cycle gear store. Not only were they not delivered to my home they were delivered in random orders and multiple packages so I had to drive 45-50 minutes one way 3-4 different times to pick up my order. Then on top of that the tracking was awful and was giving me messages on package delivered and when I get to the store there was nondelivery
Bought a Shoei Neotec 3 and needed to transfer my Sena comm system from my old helmet to the new. The guys at the Auburn store fixed me up. I don't think I could have done it. They were both happy and cheerful doing it even though it's a real pain in the $#*!.
I believe they were Kenny and Merick.
Five stars for the whole experience.
I bought a Yuasa battery online from Cycle Gear. The delivery time was lightning fast, one day turnaround. The battery was a match to the old one that I wanted to replace. The only reason I was replacing it was to know that I had a brand new battery for the motorcycle that I had just bought used. The old battery was actually working fine. I received the new battery and put it on a trickle charger for 48 hours before installing it. Once installed I could not get my motorcycle started. I retraced my steps backwards and decided to re-install the old battery to see if it would work better. The bike fired right up. Not sure why the new battery could not get the bike to start but i decided to return it and stick with the old working battery. Cycle Gear was very helpful and easy to work with. I brought my battery into a local store and they processed a return on the spot.
I feel like SHAD used to be pretty on part with GIVI quality. This products, build quality for the top case left some to be desired, especially considering the price for a plastic case. The rack itself was very well built and fit very adecúate.
Order a replacement helmet on line. I chose to send the helmet to the local store. That gave me the chance to try the helmet on. Afterwards i asked if the sales clerk if he would mind transfer my blue tooth unit over. They took care of my needs and the helmet fix properly. Great Service.
The website stated the shoes ran narrow. I ordered i a size up (10 I'm usually a 9) I returned the shoes they were still too narrow. Return was easy but I was lucky. I put one shoe on and it was immediately too narrow I didn't have to even out on the 2nd one. If I would have gone on a ride and scuffed then or shown any wear the return would be rejected according to the fine print. L
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
