This company has been charging me $24.95 monthly for nearly a year without my consent. I was not informed when the 7-day trial period expired, and I never agreed to any ongoing subscription. Who would reasonably need a subscription for a CV-making website? I contacted their support team via email to request a refund, but they outright refused. It's clear this company takes advantage of unsuspecting customers, profiting unfairly. Their business practices are deeply unethical, and I trust that accountability will catch up with them in time. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. They should be deeply ashamed of themselves!

A misleading website called CVMaker.com when trying to create a resume. They advertised that I could access my resume for a fee of $1.95, but after entering my payment details, I was charged $25 without clear consent or warning that I would be subscribing to a plan. You cancel your membership, deactivate your account.
After 14 days, they send an email that they renewed your membership and charged 19.99 EUR. He will do it again next month. The only way to get rid of their levy is to block the card and request a new one from the bank.

I originally signed up for a one-time CV, but the company charged me 24.95 dollars monthly since May 11th, 2023 without my knowledge and refuses to give me a refund. I don't even have proof of purchase because they failed to provide any form of notification due to their scummy policies. All I have is an email of them refusing to refund me.

This site does not even deserve 1 star, its full of scam, do not use this site as i generated one cv with 1.95 $ which was of no use, as I made 1 page resume and they turned it into 2 pages and charged me of 2 pages, this was not the end, immediately after 7 days I got an SMS of transaction by the site of 24 $ which was not purchased by me, they automatically save all your bank data's and purchase by their own, i have block my card and informed the bank immediately, be careful everyone from this site.

I had the worst experience with them. I canceled my subscription on April 1,2024 and since then, I have been charged 24.97 euros every month. Despite my cancellation I was charged for May, June, and July.

It is clearly stated on their website that after account deactivation, all payments are suspended. But they continued to charge me 24.97 euros per month after canceling. Do not trust the positive reviews on Trustpilot for this company. They are total scammers. Cvmaker a trap to get your bank card details so they can extort money from you without your permission. This company should be shut down.

When you will initially subscribed to CVmaker, you will do it with the impression that you are opting for a 7-day trial at $1.95, because it is not made explicitly clear that this would automatically transition into a monthly membership costing $24.95. They took from my credit card 50$. Scam website!

After pushing payment button 1,95 euro, the scam starts.
Apparently a automatic permanent pay order arrives at your bank to pay monthly fees of 19 euro, even without any written approval from your side.
This is against all EU regulations.

I have never heard of nor ever corresponded with this company until I got a $1.95 charge on my credit card. I don't know how they got my cc number but it was and is not an authorized purchase. Looks like they throw a small charge on your account hoping you won't notice. Stay away from this company. They appear to be as crooked as a country road. The only reason I gave them one star is because it would not accept lower.

I used it on 4/4/2021 for about $3. Then, I have been deducted again twice today on the 12/4/2021 without my permission for another $19.95 + $19.95 = $39.90 within the same month and the site was saying that they didn't take any money from my bank. The worst case is they were asking me to pay another $19.95 when they ought to refund me my $19.95. I demanded my refund for the extra $19.95 that they have deducted but they denied it. I did a police report and will bring this matter to the social media of the company cheating its customers.
