When I paid for tickets on the website, an error occurred that the payment did not go through. I closed the site and moved on. Later I found out that the full amount was withdrawn from my bank account. When I contacted them, they promised to solve it in 24 hours, but for 17 days no one has contacted me or even complained. I do not recommend this site to anyone.

When I paid for tickets on the website, an error occurred that the payment did not go through. I closed the site and moved on. Later I found out that the full amount was withdrawn from my bank account. When I contacted them, they promised to solve it in 24 hours, but for 17 days no one has contacted me or even complained. Horrible company. I booked a trip and it showed it was cancelled upon booking because of a "payment error." But my credit card was charged. Now they are saying they can't complete the booking even though my card was charged. And also the refund is "in process" and will take 7-14 business days. I told them refunds don't take that long once they have been initiated. Total scam of a company, running a Ponzi scheme with our money.

After reading so many reviews here I was worried. However, after some negotiating Trip.com was able to cancel reservation for me with hotel when my trip plans changed. I would book with them again.

I would give negative star if possible!

Booked 3 flights using the app. Filled in the passengers details, they issued the ticket Messing up my names, put first name as last name and vice versa!

I even have a screenshot on how it appears on the app and how it was completed! Refused to admit any issue on their end and trying to charge more money to change the name, when it's their fault.

Avoid at all cost

Don't trust trip.com. Total an responsibility. There is no responsibility and give you wrong ticket.please don't any ticket from trip.com.we bought the ticket and pay one ticket. When we getting booking confirmation. They told us that's deferent ticket here. Its not connected flight. And sad to us go out then come for other flight. But mom don't have turkish visa.pleas don't buy any tickets from trip.com

During my booking Trip.com was warning me I did a double booking and adviced me to cancel so I did. After this I ended up with no ticked and a 125 euro down the drain because the ticket I cancelled was the correct ticket and non refundable and the only one I booked. Trip. Com advices me wrong 😑.

After I chat with Trip. Com. They promised to get back to me and they did Not!

I just wanted that ticket, it was never my intention to cancel and now Trip. Com is asking me to pay for a new ticket due to their incorrect advice! 125 euro!

Trip.com failed to inform us about the transit visa requirement for our trip, resulting in my parents being unable to board their flight from Delhi. Despite this mistake, Trip.com is refusing to refund our money or credit us for the trip. This lack of transparency and customer service is unacceptable. Please don't book any flight from Trip.com

I just booked a ticket from Auckland NZ to LAX for 12th February. I panicked after reading negative posts so I contacted Trip.com customer care no 7848-96-7107. Immediately. It turned out I panicked for nothing. My ticket was issued as I was communicating with customer service. They were very helpful. I did click the button to "expedite." Not sure if it had anything to do with ticket being issued immediately. Hope this helps. It does appear they are legit so I would use Trip.com again.

The customer service team is pathetic, hypocrite people. Until now, they keep jogging my refund after messing my travel itinerary. They can't be trusted, and customers must watch out. Too much incompetent people and full of lies. I wouldn't recommend anyone

This booking service will find any possible way to give you a flight that does not take you where you want to do, just to scrape cheap business from you for what looks like cheaper itinerary flights. We tried to book a flight to LAX. We chose Los Angeles as our destination. Of course this scheming business would send us to Ontario, 2 hours drive from where literally ANY other flight goes into Los Angeles. On top of that, they have absolutely no way of refunding a flight within 24 hours of having booked it, we had to "apply" to cancel. So we just lost 1750 USD to this thieving business. I tried to request a refund within 24 hours and we were stuck waiting for their response. I disputed the charge from my credit card company and of course, since trip.com is a 3rd party, there was nothing that my bank could do about it.

Do not use this company. They need to simply fail and let other legitimate business take over their space.

Terrible experience
The website has unclear information that led to a mistake which made me lose a considerable amount of money. When I contacted trip.com customer service they were so careless and didn't help me at all

Lynx airlines has announced that they will ceased
Operations, hence they cancelled my flight. Trip.com stated that my refund is estimated to be processed latest Feb 2025. My booking is on Mar 23 2024. Lynx stated that refund can be processed thru card company. I do not understand why it would take a year for refund to be processed this is unacceptable

I was booking a hotel stay, after submitting the payment info received a message that the payment did not go through so I enter the payment info again, received two booking confirmation emails for the same stay and was charged twice. They refuse to cancel the one booking, sent me an email offering 10% return with an audacity telling me that this is not a lot of money. Clear scam!

Trip.com is an awful company to deal…
Trip.com is an awful company to deal with. I couldn't add a wheelchair to the flights I booked for my 81 year old mother. I couldn't cancel the ticket, as I would have only got a refund on the £24 airport tax I paid. Then I found the same flight £130 cheaper directly with British Airways. I'll never again use Trip.com, they are a greedy bunch. Save yourself some time and money and book your travel elsewhere, this company is shambles.

Don't book your ticket via Trip.com or you will be the scammed with thousands of dollars.
I booked a direct flight tickets for my family but Trip.com send me a wrong flight schedule after charged my credit card.-they don't send you any confirmation email before take your payment. I've contacted them immediately after receiving that wrong ticket, the customer service said will get me an update within 24 hours. I waited almost 72 hours and there was no update. Couldn't wait further so I called them instead. After a number of calls in the last two days, finally a manager gave me a
Rubbish solution as we have to pay extra $1000 to amend the original $1200 ticket! Or we will have to travel with my 8 month old baby on a transfer flight and land in the destination at 11pm! Perhaps we also have to spend more money to stay one more night in the hotel.
Absolutely crap service!

Tip for consumers:
Trip.com app doesn't show you the flight info on the immediate page prior or post the payment. It also doesn't email you any quote with the flight detail before they take you payment.

Tried to book a flight on 7th of January at 2.56 to 3.30pm with this tel no *******8949
The person on the phone taken money 627.99. But not sent the ticket.
There are dis honest people with trip.com with above phone number. Try to avoid booking with these trip.com. As they coudn't still investigate the person who answered the phone that time.Still this fraud tel no working and taking people's bookings. You can't trust this site

Being 1st time User I had some payment issues customer service agent advised to book directly through the aircarrier or talk to bank...Bank said no issues from their end and advised to try with credit limit increase.Trip.com blocked my card took and insisted id proof, bank statements, credit card front and back to release the card for further payments...I felt like they are forcefully to taking PII which is not fair...I tried with my 2 different credit card both had same issues, felt like they are showing payment error purposefully to steal data or to hike flight prices

I needed to travel back to the UK from Indonesia that same day. Paid £684 for a single ticket. Jumped into a taxi to the airport to get a email from airline to say the first flight is cancelled until the following day. This would have meant we would have missed all connections. Not Trip.com's fault I know. Was told I can cancel and get a full refund which I did and I had to book another flight for £850 but did this direct with Malaysia airlines as I know that they would look after us if something went wrong with delays or cancellation of any flight. I was promised a refund within 6 days, well nearly 4 weeks later and still no refund and the call centre can not give you any information in regards to the refund which is stupid. I have asked my bank to get the money back now and supplied them with the refund email. I use trip.com all the time with no issues but will never use them again. Can you imagine if I had of used the last of my money on that ticket? I would have been stranded. I will definitely book direct with airlines in future as you have that guarantee that they will look after you.

I just wanted to share with you my experience with flights booking with this company...
First everything on the begging was beautiful easy at soon you book and pay u will receive the tickets with out cabin bags which heart they never says anything about it mean that after that u need to pay for your cabin bags that's what happened with me
Guys seriously don't ever do the mistake I have done
I paid for each ticket more than the tickets price for my cabin bags, unfortunately was nothing mentioned earlier when I was doing the booking was so clear that I can have 2 bags small and the cabin bags just don't do the mistake
And when I saw the price of the Ryanair was cheaper as I buy it from trip.com was 22 pounds extra to shame

I paid nearly $800 for a trip, but did not get a trip out of it. The flight was canceled and Trip.com is not giving me a refund. Basically they just take your money and give you nothing in return. They should change their name to NoTrip.com.

Booked a hotel for Feb 23 but for some reason the app was set on Feb 24, for the next day. I immediately tried to log out the app as the payment was being processed but I was too late. Chatted with an agent and asked if I can change the booking from Feb 24 to Feb 23, not cancel it mind you, just move it up a day. She said she would "neogitiate" with the hotel. 10 mins later she said they refused. I said TRY AGAIN. She tried again but said it cant be done, but this time she changed her stroy claiming it's because trip.com has a no modification policy and she copy and pasted it for me. How rude. And, she lied. If that's the reason then why did she first try to negotiate for me with the hotel? What a waste of my money. I will file a dispute with my bank, citibank US over this. Note, that 1-1/2 years ago trip.com DID modify a booking for me. That's why I keep using the site. Never again
UPDATE: ATrip.com rep responsed to my post on Feb 22 and its now March 7. They said in response to my post that they would reach out to me but they never did. It's a lie to just make their company look good. I noticed they said the same thing to others here that complained and I'm willing to bet they never reached out to them also.

Trip.com cheated on me from beginning to end. When I booked my flight, there is no reminder or warning for corresponding flights like itinerary, connecting fights, self-transfer, correspondence travel documents and stops etc. They only want your money. After you paid, they care nothing. They don't provide any services if you wanna change flight, cancel flight etc any kinds of relevant things, they just simply reply that they can't make a change and don't refund at all. This is a garbage tricky place I have ever been in. Strongly suggest never shop anything in trip.com. Never explore in trip.com. They provide $#*! service. It's unbelievable that it still operates and exists and harms and steals people every single day. I only hope trip.com can be terminated ASAP and go to hell

The amount of times their system has changed the dates from when you book until you get your email. I could fly first class.
