The timing of the ads ruin the experience of the show you're watching, there's no warning they just pop up out of nowhere and they're very long. And sometimes the whole thing would just freeze for no reason and I had to reload it.
Okay what the heck man? This is the best anime website so far. I don't get to many ads atleast and it's a high quality anime website. I don't get lag. Just watch it as a free user. If you only get problems with premium that just get off that. The main reason I love crunchyroll is because they have a variation of anime so I can choose whatever I want. Enjoy crunchyroll until you can. Hope everyone enjoys this website as much as I do! ()
I have been a premium subscriber for several years now. I got Crunchyroll for the manga more than the anime for a variety of reasons. Now that the main browsers have stopped supporting Flash, Crunchyroll insists on using Flash as the manga reader. I actually got a comment back from support when I asked. They said, basically, "We are aware of the problem but have no plans to change the platform." That's a company who cares about it's customers NOT!
Why pay for the streaming service if it constantly buffers and nothing is watchable. I tried using different browsers with the same results. This is a joke
Ordered 2 t-shirts and a keychain on Crunchyroll at the start of August 2020. The shipping to Europe was $40, which seemed steep, but I expected expedited shipping at that price, especially considering I'd have to pay import fees and taxes in addition to the expensive shipping.
It is early September 2020 as of writing this review and the small shipment still isn't anywhere to be seen.
Avoid this business at all costs. Their customer service is slow to reply, and offers no explanation or even an apology for the lackluster service.
Es un buena pagina para ver anime me encantó Uwu sigan así pero seria cool si también subieran animes HHH xd 7u7 pero Igual me encanta la página
When you watch series it pops you out of fullscreen between episodes. (the mobile version is great, but the pc version is really badly optimized)
It doesn't have a row with series I'm watching atm. And that is really neat to have so I can keep track of what I watch.
Edit: They almost don't have any of the animes dubbed in English. (There are German and Russian sometimes tho)
I tried subscribing for a month to watch my favorite shows. But I'm really dissatisfied by the catalog as most animes are not included in the region. All the that can be watched here in the Philippines are limited. You subscribe with the same amount as the US but get to watch only less than 1/4 of their catalog. Will not subscribe again unless they also give us the same contents.
As you can see below. Only Boruto is the show being offered that is being simulcast same day as Japan. If you would compare it to shows offered in US, it would include Black Clover, Re: Zero, Rent-a-Girlfriend to name a few. Anime is big market here in the Philippines, if Crunchyroll gave us the same contents as the US, there is no doubt people would subscribe in their services. Crunchyroll is wasting an opportunity on hitting a big group of consumers here. Hoping Crunchyroll would do something about their region restrictions.
I started watching anime on crunchyroll with a free account, where you have to sit through a whole bunch of ads to watch the videos. I'm a patient person so it didn't bother me. When I realized that premium accounts were roughly what I paid for Netflix, I signed up for it. I love the ability to not have to sit through ads. So, for me, this was the perfect solution. I also like that I can do watch parties with friends. I've used there site store before. I've gotten a few good deals on some stuff. I think the downside is that there's some titles I loved that are not available on Crunchyroll. But there's so many titles that Crunchyroll offers that I don't worry too much about things I can't watch. I also appreciate they have an app on my firestick so I don't have to rely on watching via my phone or on a computer.
A good site if you want to watch anime bad things is 1 there is religional content limitation and price is high
Shipped an item that is commonly kept in the box as a collector's item in a padded envelope. The box of the figure has an indentation in the back from weight having placed on top, it could have arrived in much worse shape. Charged 8 dollars for shipping and sent it in a padded envelope?! This is ridiculous. I'd rather pay a little more on the order from a quality supplier, never shopping here again.
It is an excellent website for anime lovers but i only wish they had more English dubbed anime versions of the anime that i like. Never had any problems, it's a high quality service that's worth every penny.
Crunchyroll is a very good site for anime in high quality. The only thing you may complain about, though is the fact that they play a lot of ads per episode, often multiple in a row. To solve this, either get an ad blocker or buy premium.
I've used crunchyroll for almost 2 years now and had no issues with my account whatsoever until today. My account was compromised and I did not receive ANY notification for it. I only found out it was compromised when I tried to log into my account but found that it was deleted. Like really? Why am I paying for monthly subscription if I can't even be assured that my account is secured? I was really thankful that the crunchyroll team swiftly returned my account, but after this? I highly doubt I'll ever use this site ever again. Rather just stick to Netflix or some other site.
I don't know why I pay them, can't even stream videos at all even with a Premium account and I just wasted 30 minutes trying to get just one video to play for more than five seconds without buffering on 1TB fiber internet
I believe that positives and negatives earn your rating...
Positives:
-Plethora of Anime choice
-good quality streaming (and my internets trash so thats pretty good)
-ads aren't terribly long
-updates shows relatively quickly
Negatives
-Offers "14 day trial" but requires card information
-Requires Credit Card for premium smh
-Ads occur way to often throughout shows
-Ads are made long by colliding 3 together, 2 of which are usually the same
-(Some) Ads are way too $#*!ing loud
Crunchyroll has a solid selection of old and new anime. However they are the only major legal service to watch anime and with no competition they never improve their service and do the bare minimum. They have problems with their various apps and i have had issues with the company keeping track of premium membership. And if you face any problem and go to customer service they will take forever sometimes be rude and then most likely wont solve your problem. I have tried customer service 5 times my problem got solved once only because i had to go through 4 different customer service reps
I don't have a membership, so I understand that I have to watch ads to watch anime, even if I have to watch 7 ads in one sitting. However, a lot of times the ads don't even load themselves and a lot of times when the ads are over the video freezes and I have to refresh the tab just so that I can watch more ads!
It's completely understandable that I have to watch ads, but it's not understandable that the video ads don't even work properly.
I watching my favorite anime in this site but if you want all episode of anime and good quality of video you need pay.
They do OK. As one of the few ways to get free anime legally in the US, however, their service has gotten pretty poor, and they're not doing their tech support people any favors by basing their jobs on how many good reviews they get. I had a technical issue, was told they couldn't fix it, but they're working on it. As far as I was concerned, that was the end of the issue, but then they asked for a review of my experience - and I didn't rate them well because the problem wasn't fixed. Now I'm getting multiple requests to change my review and offers of free time. Thanks, but it says nothing good about you or your job.
Answer: Crunchyroll engineered a scam. If you payed using paypal, you have to cancel through paypal. It's ridiculous.
