Any of the apps outside the web version crash constantly and can barely load. The site doesn't have a working release calendar or release times which is insane because the free pirated sites all have that feature. You cannot select quality on phones or ps5 or xbox so if the app for some reason decides ur internet is slow (when it isnt) it will only play at 240p. Overall it doesn't even beat out the free pirated sites and I am paying for it so.

When it works, it works great. When it doesn't work... well, good luck. You're probably better of bittorrenting, to be perfectly honest. Don't give these people your money. Buggy site with terrible terrible terrible customer service after they eat your money and don't provide the service that you paid for.

So I had some vintage Anime goods I got from Japan in the late 90s and early 2000s and decided to sell online and on Etsy. This company is going around reporting my listings for copyright infringement. Yeah, I know they license to stream certain Anime online and sell some goods but what gives them the right to banned others from reselling some things they own? They do not make the Anime, create them, made the merchandises or even close to that but they are going around doing this. Really? What a horrible company!

Illegal lack of captioning for the hearing impaired. They responded to complaints with lies from their lawyers about their refusal to comply with laws about access to the hearing impaired.

Company takes your order and gets their money, then they forget about you. Multiple attempts to make contact with no avail. Do not order merchandise from this website.

First off, CrunchyRoll has SO MANY anime options, ranging from super popular to hardly known. With the hundreds maybe even thousands of anime options, you will never get bored of it.
Secondly, people always complain about the plethora of Ads, but that is only in the free version. CrunchyRoll has lots of good premium options with the lowest, and still best being only $7.99 a month! Plus every option has a free 2 week trial to see if you will like it.
Additionaly, the quality is quite amazing, and is prioritized. But most of all, the site has over 12 different dubbed languages for some shows, and also hidden, new episodes or season that you wouldn't find on other streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, ect. To top it all off, new episodes on shows are uploaded only 1 hour from the release date in Japan.
In conclusion if you are looking for a cheap, fun way to watch all your favorite anime's, CruchyRoll is a great option.

Crunchyroll is a great app since you can watch almost every single anime in the world, but the only problem is the adds. Sometimes you get 6 adds at the same time, its annoying but you get use to it after a while. If you really don't want adds you should get premium. Another thing is I wanted to watch the last episode of MHA but I couldn't because you had to have premium to watch it, and that kind of annoyed me.

Do NOT pay for a membership here! They will put you on autopsy even after it ends. Customer service seems like the site owner's family and is very slow.

CrunchyRoll started out charging people for subtitled animation that had NO licenses in the US and that had been subtitled BY FREE by fans and that could be found for free elsewhere. Crunchyroll had absolutely no business profiting for this.

Crunchyroll is a great service IN THEORY but in practice stick to YouTube, NetFlix or watch for free and mute the commercials.

I've ordered from Crunchyroll 3 years in a row for presents for nieces and nephews and am officially NEVER going to again. For context – I've ordered both streaming service subscriptions and merchandise. EVERY time there was an issue and here we are again: currently waiting for an order to ship that I purchased TWO WEEKS AGO!

EVERY time, my order has been late. EVERY time, I've reached out to customer service regarding my late order, never to hear back for at least a week after multiple follow up emails. It's absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. I will never, ever order anything from Crunchyroll again and encourage you to do the same.

I watched the intro and got 30 seconds in bam 4-30second commercial asap then about 5 minutes in another commercial this time i tab over to a new tab it new i wasnt watching the commercial and kept stopping it at the end and replayed it till i stayed on the same page a little pathetic if you ask me no thanks im stopping now before it gets worse your no better then hulu i pay and im still forced to watch commercial really?!?! Are you retarted no thank ill be glad to pay netflixs.

I had crunchy roll for 11 months about half that time i just could not get things to play. It would sit there and spin the orange circle. This also happens on any device cell phone laptop everything. Finally i got sick of it and made a complaint to them and they asked for all this info on me and my system over a week we went back an forth and not a single time did they every actually try to do anything to fix this issues. I know the issue is not on my side of things as i have a $9,000 pc state of the art right now at the time of this review. *******k xtx7900 64 gigs ram all the top end stuff. I'am a streamer on youtube and twitch. Every other streaming company work just fine only crunchy roll just doesn't play half the time. Even Hidive amine streams just fine. Amazon video, peacock, everything works no problem. Back to my complaint after all these back and forths i said you ask me all these questions what have you done to actually look into this and the CS rep says well we are trying to fix your system. I said have you looked into my account and checked to see if crunchy roll is working properly. No it is not us it is your system. I said if it is my system then why is 1000s of people on reddit having the same issue. They said here is a refund for one month and good by. I will never again use a company like this horrible CS do not waste your money stay away from crunchyroll! This is a overall good site it has some good animes for free it also gets animes earlier than most anime streaming website. But the downside is that Alot of the good animes and dubs (Chainsaw Man) are premiumed. But other than that its pretty good.

Free trial expires after you cancel, that is if you even can cause of the god awful verification process so if you don't want to go through the hell that is premium you'll have ads and not one but I just had 4 ADS IN A ROW probably the worst streaming service ever don't even bother just go illegally stream anime this bull$#*! is not worth it.
