Twice in the past year I've checked my score on credit karma and twice they have been wrong when I went to get a loan. Not by a few points but they were over by 100! Points. Now my credit score is down a couple more points because I tried to get loans based on what I thought I had from credit karma. I think they try to entice you into the site by giving you false good news. I will never trust that site.
I have called customer service and was told their was nothing they could do about an address they have that is over 10 years old. Their remedy was that I photocopy a credit card, front and back and mail it to them. That is very insecure and something I am not comfortable with. I was told to have my bank call them, but my bank will not do this for security reasons... hmmm... interesting the bank doesn't trust Credit Karma.
The notification that you emailed me 2 months ago about checking my rating stated that there was a change in my rating. I checked it and found there had been no change. Were you lying or is this just poor marketing?
Since I reached adulthood my credit has been poor due to having a serious medical condition and being raised in a struggling family without proper medical insurance. Even though I've worked hard my whole life I could never get a handle on my credit situation and never had the opportunity to prove my credit worthiness. Desperate to have good credit I've been taken by scams promising to clean my credit up and after thousands of dollars I never see change. Reluctantly I made a reach to youdoneedgreatcredit (at) g. M. a. I. l (dot) com to help me as i had no other option with their promise to clean my credit up and they did just that! In just a couple of days they proved they stand by their word! I wish i found them earlier. They are professionals and are relentless to get things straightened out. I highly recommend them to anyone who does not have the time or wherewithal to stay with a very tedious process.

I did my taxes with Credit Karma. I have always used Turbo Tax and will continue to. After completing my Credit Karma forms I later received an email that my account had been accessed again and my bank info had been changed for receiving my refund. I changed NOTHING. It implies that someone accessed my account fraudulently. I immediately contacted Credit Karma. Can't get a live person. Everything is done by email. NO ever answered my concerns (via email). I had what seemed like computer generated answers, not by a real person.
Interestingly, I am not getting a refund. I owe money. So, no one is getting anything. But it also means someone has my info. Not sure what to do now!
Never used Investment pro AT write me DOT com before. First time and they're nice. I liked them because of their versatility. One you can use for Forex instruments, stocks and even Cryptos. In-depth investment knowledge and I feel like I'm complete when I invest with them and have them grow my money. Thanks to them for improving my finances and giving me my life back.
They allowed my ex to create an account and now I can't get rid of it because they say I can't prove who I am. Better Business Bureau can't help because its criminal. And because I told Credit Karma that I was involving my lawyer and the police - they rejected my email. Also there is no phone number to talk to anyone. Credit Karma is a complete fraud!
I financed a car that had a nationwide murder warrant attached to the vin and it caused me to get pulled over at gun point 5 times a week for 7 months so I did a voluntary repo about two years ago. I needed to get it removed and *******@bk. Ru came highly recommended and I recommend them for all credit related help.
Credit Karma is done the same thing to me today money was deposited they locked my account and I have no access to the funds. I'm going to be evicted and be on the streets because they are complete scam artists and I honestly don't know what to do
They locked my debit card for no reason, and when I got a new one they said it was activated and it was still locked. Good luck getting help even when you do finally get to speak to a real person, and forget about speaking anyone who's actually in the United States. Canceling my accounts
I've been using Credit Karma for a couple of years. I've seen my score go up to over 800. However when I applied for a mortgage, I received my FICO score and it was 70 points less (731) than Credit Karma so I would not put too much faith in the score that they provide. The only good thing is that it is totally free and you're able to check changes in your reports.
They closed my account for no reason the day before I got Paid. Funds were not returned to my employer. Nor do they have any answers as to why my account was closed. They aren't even telling me where my money is now. Steer clear of opening a checking account with them
I received notice through the app that I could check my approval odds for a personal loan without affecting my credit scores. They LIED! Within minutes I received two emails from different lenders that I had been turned down. It lowered my credit scores. Lying *******@rd$.
Closing account for the second and final time. First time I was told I had an excellent chance off being approved by Target and then was turned down flat. Gave CK another chance and then today was told I could pre-qualify for a personal loan with no affect on credit score. Answered three questions and was immediately notified of a hard inquiry on my credit. I'll stick with Credit Wise from Capital One from now on. Also was told that I was approved for loan and then received an e-mail that I was denied, go figure that one out. Very fraudulent company.
Tried to apply for a VA loan because Credit Karma site said I was good to go. Humiliation set in after seeing what my "REAL" credit score was. Thanks and you can shove this site up your corporate asses!
I have a Credit Karma account. I learned that they do not allow VPN users to login to their site. So, I quit using them back last year. I figured enough time had passed and maybe they changed their policy about VPN users. Well that is not the case. So, I chatted with a real person from Credit Karma. I explained my issue and that I had no intention of disabling my VPN (security) to login to their account. Yes I had to disable my VPN to be able to talk to someone about this. The person I spoke with said they have no intention of allowing VPN at this time. So, I said I will not be logging into their site anymore. I said, if you change your policy about this, let me know and I would consider using them again. You know it's sort of funny that they tell you of data breeches when they happen but when it comes to the added security of VPN, they don't allow it. Even banks have changed their policies on VPN, understanding that more and more people are using VPN to enhance their security. I guess Credit Karma does not care about their users security. If you have VPN and have a Credit Karma account, you should consider not using it anymore until they change their policy on this issue. Credit Karma does have some good services but not at the expense of your security. For those who don't have VPN, I suggest you get it. Safer with it than without it.
I will never use credit karma again. I was trying for a loan to help my mother in law out with some bills after my father in law passed away and the place I went though goes by equafax so I got on credit karma and it said I was at 690 which the loan place only needed a 650 score for approval so I applied. When they ran my score it was only a 616. I mean what the h***. This isn't the first time ether. It has happened to my husband also a couple times. Saying his score was way higher then it actually was.
Credit karma is junk. Not worth down loading and a 0* rating. GARBAGE!
I signed up for Credit Karma free. I read most of the promotional blabber they provided and signed up at the end of TurboTax 2023. It sounded OK.
NO NO NO. IT IS NOT OK!
Within less than 24 hours I had received 2 or more unsolicted spams from credit card companies. That has been followed by daily spams from other companies I would have no interest in. That was not happening before I signed up for Credit Karma. I do not have hard evidence linking this sudden flood of SPAM to Credit Karma, but you be the judge.
I strongly recommend that you trust nothing about Credit Karma unless you have no regard for your privacy.
And since this was offered as a freebee after purchasing TurboTax 2023, I can find no proof of purchase to attach.
