Why can you never get it right? If its not poor quality viewing( & not the content, whats on screen) it's pictures & no sound, vice versa, repeated shows, frozen screen or like today No Show at all? Why?

The advertising wore me out, same ad x 3 every 10 mins or less... I can live with a few ads as I grew up with free on air TV, and the movies are "free" with some handy choices over time. But the same ads over and over again... bugger off, I deleted the app.

Most of the movies and shows are pretty good. Banned commercials don't really bother me all that much. I don't think most people that watch understand that companies have to pay the bills to give us this free product. I've only had the movie stop maybe once or twice on me after commercials. Not nearly as many as most other people say. So all in all, honestly, the only people I have about this site that they don't put the dates the movie was released.

When it was just Crackle I didn't have many problems with it. Now, everytime I
Want to watch something I get a playback issue code 3104 and the movie will not start.
Not much good to me now. I tried to find out what this code is and how to fix it but no

Please fix these bugs! Every time I try to watch a movie it kicks me from Crackel half way through the movie, sometimes just 10 minutes in. This has been happening for months now, and I keep coming back thinking maybe it will be fixed, nope. Before this, all I could see on Crackel was a black screen. I bet I havent made it through a whole movie on Crackel in a year. Fix this nonsense! Or fire the idiots in the tech department.

Xbox One app works when it wants. Most of the time it will only play one episode of a show that if chooses on its own as soon as you open the app. If u try to change what it picks the app closes forcing me to reopen it. Watch the same commercial I have gone through and still watch whatever the app chooses for me. Horrible app design!

The worst in ads of all the movie apps. I already deleted it from my xbox and iphone. The same ads run for like 4 times and 3 different ads in a row. Worst of the worst. Stay away from Crackle. You are wasting your life from this movie app. Better pay fr Netflix or amazon prime

Decent movies
Unrelenting commercials 20+ minutes per movie
Insane lag, just had a 15 min lag during a 2:30 commercial followed by a 11 minutes lag as the movie was attempting to start back up. That's almost 30 min to get through a 2:30 commercial. Free or not that's horrible service.

Seriously, did Amazon, Netflix, HBO etc. get together with Sony to create a streaming service so bad that people will never again consider watching anything that's free? That's how bad this is, I'll probably pay to rent every movie I ever watch from now on to avoid the risk of using something as bad as Sony Crackle again. It makes my Roku TV crash and there are so many commercials that it's like you're watching movie breaks in between them.

UI/UX fail
December 30, 2015

Aside from numerous, repetitive, and loud commercials, the programming is sub-par, but the real fail and sin is the Roku channel. Some geniuses at Roku decided that rather than providing you content from which to choose, the first thing you should encounter is video, chosen for you, which begins playing immediately. Worse than that is that it plays in the background while you're browsing and can't easily be stopped. Easily the worst interface created for a content channel. Thanks for choosing for me, Crackle. I really don't like to choose for myself.

This program is 100% terrible and should be completely redesigned. It's $#*!. Don't use this because the stress it will cause isn't worth it so pay the $3 for the other movie on prime then using this $#*!

Too many commercials

I tried Crackle, hoping to have an alternative to Netflix. Crackle has commercials, which I'm okay with as they need to make money if they aren't charging me. What I don't understand is why they would show 5 commercials every 5 minutes. It's like they don't want you to use their app. On top of that, the movie would not load anymore with under 20 minutes left. Not an app I want to use again. Too bad, as it really had great potential.

It blows.

I used to love Crackle. Now on my Roku, it's terrible. Started playing some weird show I didn't even choose and then wouldn't respond to pause, back or even exit altogether. Attempted to navigate the menu, but it wouldn't respond, except to play that animated show again. Channel removed.

I've given this website the benefit of the doubt in continuing to try and use it, but this was the 4th and final time! EVERYTIME I try to watch a movie on here, it plays half the movie fine, then half-way through drops out ALL audio. Different computers all have the same problem. Terrible site, it IS free which is nice, but not worth dedicating an hour to a movie then getting shut down each time. Stay away until they get their $#*! together I'd say...

I hate watching TV because of the commercials. I tried watching a movie on Crackle. The selection of movies was OK, the video quality fine, but the interruptions were just as annoying and intrusive as TV. I'd rather pay Netflix than watch this... I tried it once... and this is all I could stand. This is a throw-back service and isn't worth your time.

It's free and the selection is good. They need to get paid somehow and that somehow is through commercials every 8-15 min. Depending on the content.

It works fin on my Android phone as well as my Windows 8 pc and Windows 8 tablet.

Only with they would add a bit more content.

Crackle freezes so much it's not worth it 2 min of commercials took 10 min of freezing but the movie hasn't froze but it takes so long to get back to the movie i lose intrest its so frustrating by the way my internet is at full speed when this is going on.

The movie app does not work properly. The first 20 min of the movies works fine, then the advertising begins and goes into a continuous loop mode repeating ads over and over.

So you watch the first 20 min of the video then its locked up in ads.

I agree with most, this is a waste of time. 1-04-2013

I knew there are commercials. That is expected. But what happens is, when the commercials are to start, Crackle takes you out of the movie and back to the home page. You then have to go to Crackle again, then go to previous movies, then enter resume. So you are doing that about every 5-7 minutes, which adds to the viewing time. Until this is corrected, I doubt if I will watch anymore movies.
