My experience is so similar to the other complaints that it must be this company's M. O. My fiancé bought me a dress I didn't like and after returning it, a 20% restocking fee was deducted, leaving me an 80% store credit, which I used to buy another dress for my wedding reception. I emailed the company before purchasing the dress to tell them when I needed the dress and why and was assured it would be sent the following day and I'd receive it within 3 days. It never arrived and I received no communication from the company until I called them yesterday ( a week after it was to have arrived) and was told the dress had a stain and hadn't been sent. I requested a refund and was told it would be a store credit only and they would be deducting a 20% restocking fee on a dress they never sent! Needless to say, the discussion escalated and devolved- the upshot being that they barred my access to their site and I disputed the charge on my credit card, filed a complaint with the BBB and reported them as frauds with the California District Attorney's office of Consumer Affairs. I will also, after I return from my honeymoon, file a suit against them in Maryland Small Claims Court for the amount they've effectively stolen from me with interest and court costs requested. I would encourage all of you with similar bad experiences to also file complaints with the Atty General. They do take civil and criminal action against companies who routinely defraud customers.
I ordered an expensive "La Femme" gown from Couture Candy. It arrived. It was lovely, but it wasn't right for me; and I wanted to return it. Unfortunately, I hadn't noticed the paragraph buried on the store's "policy page" informing customers that dresses on the the 50+ list of "special occasion weren't "refundable. They were, however, "exchangeable," if exchanged within "five" days of receipt. But, in order to receive full credit, one would have send the gown back with the company's RMA. Clothing returned without an RMA would be assessed a 25% penalty. Ouch. I contacted the company via e-mail to ask that the RMA be sent, so I could return the dress immediately. It was not. I contacted them two more times by e-mail and once by phone. The woman I spoke with assured me that the RMA would be sent the next day. It was not.
At that point, my options were: (1) Return the garment without the RMA for an "exchange," effectively gambling that a company that didn't respond to my call or e-mails would not deduct a 25% restocking fee ($125); (2) Sell the garment on consignment; and/or, (3) Report this company to the Attorney General of my state. I chose options #2 & 3.
I ordered my prom dress from CoutureCandy and had an amazing experience! I ordered a size too small and return process was fast & easy! Customer service was great and made sure my larger sized dress came in on time for my special occasion! Beautiful dress! I felt like a million bucks! Thank you CoutureCandy! You are a keeper!

They sent me the wrong item. You have to go through a crazy process to return anything. I just want the right item. HORRIBLE. Never will I purchase from them again. I don't believe the good reviews. I think they are seeds. I'm going to find someone to do a class action lawsuit.
Love my dress! I got a la femme dress for prom and it came in perfect! The only trouble is it was super long but I'm a short girl ha! This is a super reliable website that I would recommend to anyone and have recommended to many of my friends already. The dress is amazing and I look forward to wearing it to prom!

I won an item from their shop in a charity auction and they never got with me to send it to me after several attempts on my behalf to get in touch with them. If they didn't want to send something, they shouldn't have participated in the auction. A bunch of crooked thieves!
I really wanted a dress they had on the site, but I was scared because I read these negative reviews. Eventually, I decided to just go for it because it was such a good deal for the dress I wanted. It worked out totally great! I even had to exchange the dress for a different size, and they were totally nice and helpful, and really quick. I will definitely be checking back every time I need a dress!
I cannot speak to the quailty of the dress I ordered, as I never recieved it. The post office stated they never recieved the item for shippment. Upon attempting to contact Couture Candy I found them extremely unhelpful. They do not have a direct phone number - it is an automated mail box that is ALWAYS full. They do not have an online chat option on the website - they are always "away." The only communication I finally received was via email. They said "we shipped it" Except the USPS still says they did not. I'm a little more inclined to believe the USPS than a shady online clothing store. Normally I wouldn't leave negative reviews because, hey, mistakes happen. But the utter lack of any business ethics shown by this company is astounding. I would highly suggest you buy your merchandise else where.
I purchased a Mac Duggal gown for close to $800. This was my first time spending this much on any clothing online. I needed to change for one size up and service was quick and attentive. Thank you Couture Candy and Mac Duggal for making my event so special.
I made a purchase from this site. They have a return policy of 14 days and you must contact them to initiate the return. Only thing is, they never respond. Ever. 14 days and no response. The number listed on their website is also a nonworking number. Do not buy from them. Everything they sell can be bought from another reputable site.

I purchased two dresses expecting to return one. As I expected one dress fit perfect and the other not so much. I called customer service and was provided a return shipping label and was refunded. Beyond responsive rep and service, I love my perfectly fitting dress. I've read a few negative reviews and frankly my experience was 100% different.
I found 2 beautiful dresses covered in sequins. Bought it but once it arrived, I opened the package and bits of sequin shredded and there were loose threading. I was sad that I felt uncomfortable keeping it. I made request to return it. Wk 1, I kindly called and emailed requesting Couture Candy to waive 20% restocking fee due to the damage dresses. Wk 2, after patiently waiting for a full wk as they request, I called to check what the hold up was about. Couture Candy said they're working on it and to check again the next full wk. This was a simple request. I'm a nurse and have a family, I don't have much time to monitor this every second of the day. This is unreasonable of couture candy in general. If you have a company and unable to manage customer service as a start. There is no company left.
I was recently the proud Mother of the Groom and purchased a Mon Cheri Montage dress for the wedding. Not only was the dress perfect, all my interactions with the CoutureCandy staff were fantastic. Because of a shipping issue I spoke with and emailed with Ameth who helped with every silly and some times simple question I asked. Great online experience and will be shopping here again. There's no customer service to speak of they've lied to me since November 2016 about reimbursing my money and now they have no phone number! Slime balls
OMG! I completely agree with the other negative reviews as the same thing has happened to me. They have no customer service at all. They charge your credit card and that is it. If you have a return, exchange or need any kind of customer service they completely disappear. Yet I get at least three or more marketing emails every single day promoting their company. I have emailed 5 times, called 10 times and have not received a response. This is a completely fraudulent company and they are scam artists. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and submitted a complaint. I am also disputing the charge on my credit card. With all the online shopping I have done over the years, I have never had an experience like this. They should be shut down and ashamed of themselves. All they are doing is taking advantage of people and taking their money.
I love couturecandy.com! They carry a diverse group of designers that you wont find on all the other online sites, lots of sexy swimwear, edgy apparel and a TON of dresses for every occasion. I can always find exactly what I am looking for and their sale options and promotions are also very impressive. I've been ordering from them for the past several years. Their shipping is always fast, and I've returned items for a full refund at least 3 times and its been totally painless. I recently called their customer service to ask about a ring I was considering (they added a beautiful collection of fine jewelry) and I was really pleased by their response (all their jewelry is sourced directly from the manufacturer) and their professionalism. I bought the ring and I'm so happy with it, I get compliments all the time because it is so unique!
I'm happy that I found this site. At first I was afraid to order from them because I'm not from the US. I needed a dress from my mom's 60th birthday so I called them to verify if they could ship from the Philippines. I've talked with Micah and assured me that the dress will be delivered. And voila, just in time for my mom's birthday. It's beautiful and fits perfectly.
This company is dishonest. I ordered a $600 prom dress and was told by a sales associate the dress would ship in 1 week as the prom was less than 2 months away. The company debited my account for the full amount of the dress the day I made the purchase contacted me the next day via email stating the dress would not be in production until after the day of prom yet there website still stays they have the dress I need in the size and color I requested! I told them that wouldn't do me any good to cancelthe transaction and they said they would however they did not cancel it. I had to dispute it with the bank. Do not buy from them.
