I am so disappointed in this service, product, customer service, billing, returns, refunds, and OVERALL crappy business. You get an auto response, no REAL RESPONSE and they say they NEVER EVER DO IT! The good reviews seem to be fake that say they are good. No consumer will respond in a positive light for this company. THEY ARE NOT WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE! I purchased bar stools and did not pay attention that there are 2 stools in each box. Upon delivery I realized I should have only ordered 1 box ( I only needed 2 stools)
That being said I now have 4 stools. The 2nd box has not been opened. I am now on day 6 trying to return 1 box. The customer service is HORRIBLE! The product quality is ok but i expected better. I would not recommend purchasing from this company at all. I am frustrated and disappointed both.
All of the reviews on their website look fake. I noticed that after it was too late. I bought a workout equipment that arrived timely but it wasn't working. I am trying to get a return and a refund for the item that is clearly faulty. Instead of honoring their return policy, they are acting like it is my fault. I have the item in the original box. Terrible service. Buyer beware!
I purchased a 9 x 12 steel pergola structure with a canopy to provide shade for my deck. The package was shipped in a timely manner, but the box was missing several pieces required to buttress and stabilize the stricture. The pieces were described in the parts list in the instructions, but were not in the box. When I went to the website to call customer support, I found there is no phone number, only email. So I emailed. It took days to get a response, and try said they would locate the posts. Days later they responded that they would have to get the parts from the manufacturer, but it would take 25 days. I said that is not acceptable, because the structure is unstable, and could be a safety risk to my family and my home. Again, several days later they shipped a full "box 2" which should have contained the parts i need. Hoeven when the new box arrived, it still F its not have the parts i need. When I wrote back to customer service, they provided me with a full refund, but did not offer the get the correct parts. When I emailed back to say that I still need the parts, I was told to get it at a local hardware store. However, it is a proprietary metal piece machined specifically for this unit, and not commercially available. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Next time, I'll stick with Amazon.
My significant other and I purchased and recieved our product without incident. The problem came into play when we unpacked our lounge hammock and began to assemble the item. At that point we noticed the lace up sting that pretty much supports the person sitting inside the hammock was damaged. It looks as though it was cut but still packaged and we ended up with that damaged package. We emailed Costway and never received any information as to how to proceed or what our options were to receive a new support string. I'm totally confused because on the very 1st page of the instruction booklet it says in bold lettering "Do Not return this item contact our friendly customer service department for help first." Well we did and still are right now today waiting on a reply. Did I mention that email was sent over 30 days ago.
Three days ago I received a package from Costway.com for a product I never ordered. I have yet to receive a reply back from customer service about the problem. My suspicion is that this is a "brushing scam" carried out by the company. "Brushing" involves sending unwanted merchandise so that the company can claim a postivie review, allegedly coming from the customer. I also suspect that Costway obtained my name and mailing address from a seller on Amazon.com that I have very recently been having problems with. This situation is obviously very frustrating and I would advise avoiding this company like the plague.
I bought and assembled this set back in February, on the 17th. I just noticed that the wicker parts are disintegrating in my hands. It is literally cracking and breaking, crumbling to the touch.
This is not acceptable by any means. It is patio furniture and should be okay outside but less than 6 months later it is deteriorating under gentle touch.
Definitely the service and quality is excellent for its high response... and the products are incredible.
This company is a sham! I ordered an ice crusher that quit working after 2 weeks. When I contacted them first of all it took days for them to get back to me when they finally did they ask me to send them a video of what the ice crusher was doing so I did. There response was to put the ice cube in one at a time or wait until the ice melted before trying to use. WHAT. They do not stand behind there 90 day money back Gurantee as advertised on there Web Page. I would recommend NOT buying from them. I got ripped off by them!
Whatever you considering the product and maybe the lower cost absolutely do not purchase from this outfit the products are substandard and there is no help from the company no spare parts for many of the items have a ice maker that quit shortly after the first year all I need is water valve and I was just informed that there's no spare parts after corresponding with the customer service for almost a month back and forth but their generous offer was to sell me another ice maker at the retail price very disappointed not only with the purchase and with myself phone not taking the time to read all the reviews with little more extensive research I am finding out that this is common practice

Scammers! Ordered on Walmart and sent by Costway. I decided didn't want item, booked sealed, never opened it. It was Hell getting a refund and now Scammers with bank to get it. They wanted to take half of item to give me a shipping label. You won't be able to return to Walmart even if you buy at Walmart.com.
I ordered an Ice Maker made by Costway and sold thru Amazon. I NEVER got the item. I was told that if I changed a statement they would issue a refund. I am not going to change anything. I am also going to make a claim with the BBB so people can see how this company really does business.
My husband had to use a rotary tool to grind down screw holes in the kitchen island cart so that we could even begin to put it together. It took us several days to put this maddening item together because we had to modify parts over and over again to make them work. I'll NEVER buy a costway product again. I'd rather pay twice as much for a product from another company. Hassle, hassle, hassle. Never again.
Beware! Costway is one of the worst retailers online.
They promise 2-5 day delivery, but they don't even ship the item until after 5 days, and that's only if they ship your order at all. Check the BBB and other review sites, you'll see almost all are 1 star. Any good review was done by a request by Costway to a customer to write a review.
They never answer their e-mails to them and it's impossible to get to talk to someone.
Worst on-line retailer ever.
Don't waste your time or money with them. I guarantee, you'll hate the fact you tried to do business with them.
UPDATE: As an update, Costco did finally address my problem with them and they responded in a very favorable manner for me. They even went above just rectifying the problem I had with them by refunding me part of my payment.
Have emailed them 3 times so we can resolve some payment for taxes. Why this was not charged at the time my credit card was charged for the purchase of the treadmill I have no idea. They have emailed me twice asking for my PayPal account. I do not have a paypal account & have requested in 3 emails to please call me back. No calls. I then found a customer service number for them. Was on hold the 1st call for 30 min then they disconnected me. 2nd call was on hold 1 hr 44 min then was disconnected me. Don't deal with this company. Have contacted my bank.

I ordered a Costway 70 pint Dehumidifier on Walmart.com and when it arrived upon opening I discovered the unit was damaged. The front was partially disassembled and little broken pieces of black plastic fell out of the bottom of the unit. I repacked it and took it to our local Walmart but they advised me I had to contact Costway for a refund since it was a Marketplace item. I emailed Costway to request initiating a refund and they emailed me back requesting photos of the damage. I emailed them pictures of the damage and then received a reply from them asking me if I would accept a $40 refund and keep the damaged unit to use. I, of course, replied that I wanted the full $219 refund since the unit arrived damaged. So we will see what happens from here. Costway is getting this damaged dehumidifier back whether they want it or not. (Part 2) Costway again contacted me and offered a $150 refund and I keep the damaged unit and find someone local to fix it. I again advised I demand a total refund and now the communications from their end has ceased. I'll be working other avenues...
(Part 3) I received another email from Costway and they have finally agreed to issue me a full refund for the damaged product I received. When the transaction has been completed I will update my reviews of Costway.
(Finale) The full refund of my purchase price has been posted to my credit card account and Costway advised me to keep the damaged dehumidifier. I now consider the matter resolved.
Don't waste your money on Costway products. We purchased a hammock stand that was advertised to fit between 9' to 15' hammocks. We have a 14' hammock and it is adusted as far as it can go. You lay on the ground so obviously about a 9' hammock is all it actually fits. It also arrived missing parts and Costway does not warranty what they sell. Shop a reliable and trustworthy site.
