The glasses I purchased give me a headache and it's because the progressive piece at the bottom of the lenses is too narrow. You wanted me to return them to have them checked (WHICH WOULD HAVE COSTED ME MORE MONEY). Then you wanted me to take them to an optometrist to have them checked (WHICH WOULD HAVE COSTED MORE MONEY). At the end of the day I figured it out myself. At the end of the day you don't even offer a wider option on your site so there is literally nothing that could have been done. WILL NEVER PURCHASE GLASSES FROM THIS SITE AGAIN.
I went to coolframes.ca (what I thought was a Canadian site) to order glasses. During payment it was noted that there would be no delivery charge, and I paid up front. When the glasses were delivered, I was informed that because they were shipped internationally, I would need to pay an additional $90 for the customs fee. This was entirely unexpected as I was under the impression the glasses would be manufactured in Canada. Upon contacting the delivery company, I was told that Cool Frames would have needed to use a different delivery service to avoid the charges. When I talked to them about it, they told me there was nothing they could do. I would not order here again.
I ordered frames with prescription lenses. Multiple issues and unhelpful customer service that I've called multiple times now. First, they have a misleading lens ordering process where by they don't tell you how long it might take up front (it lets you pick fast delivery 1-2 days for $9.99 but that's "after the lenses are made" (which can be 10-14 business days) but that is only shared after you have paid and in the order confirmation email. Secondly, it lets you pick blue light protection as an option (for no $s mentioned) when building your lens but it doesn't add it "unless you pick an "optional" upgrade" later for $149. Why give option earlier and then say it's optional?
After I called them to cancel the lens due to above issues, they wouldn't and shipped it to me regardless. The lenses are also blurry and not usable.
I've called them again and still no resolution. Can't get to a supervisor either. Not a clean business (misleading).
Received my frames they are so nice the colour is better than what I thought they would look like. They are super light and on the smaller size because I have a strong prescription so they are perfect for me.

Received my first pair of glasses and my vision was not quite right. I went back to the doctor who issued me a new prescription. I called Cool Frames. They said send the glasses back and they replaced the prescription in my glasses. Free of charge.
I placed an order with CoolFrames on December 3rd for a frame and prescription lenses for my child. At first, I received confirmation and a follow-up stating that the frame would arrive from the manufacturer in 3–5 business days. After waiting far too long without any update, I called on December 16th, only to learn that the manufacturer hadn't even sent the frame. Now they claim they won't have it until December 27th—well past the promised timeline. No proactive communication, no transparency, and no real effort to make things right.
As a result, my child has been left without proper glasses for more than a month. This situation goes completely against their stated delivery times and raises serious concerns about their reliability. I will be canceling my order and requesting a full refund. Once the refund process is complete, I will update this review to share my experience with how CoolFrames handles returns and reimbursements. For now, I can't trust this company and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Very poor customer service! Asking me the size when I already stated it in caps. Despite having no virtual try on they will charge you 20% restocking fee. The frame I ordered was too short and hurt my ears. The customer support takes a long time to respond and resolve issues.
5 months. It took 5 months and 3 pairs of glasses from when I ordered to now having wearable glasses. The other lenses arrived with terrible scratches like they polish them with sandpaper or something! Ugh, and the absolute worst customer service. They reply to an average of maybe every third email and do not even try to make matters right. With so many other online eyeglass companies to choose from, do yourself a favor and keep scrolling.
I was told my frames were back ordered and they'd be 1-2 weeks 3 times now (6 weeks from original order) It's been up to me to contact them every time as they've never made an effort to contact me other then the day after my initial order. I will be asking for a refund next time, seems like there's no effort to actually fill my order and they're gonna continually string me along indefinitely
I'd give zero stars. Their lenses are crap and they don't take responsibility for their unacceptable lenses. No ability to return without losing half of what you pay for restocking and lens non-refundable fees. Their customer service is worthless. Beware and know that these are not optometrist level lenses. They'll give you a migraine and make your head spin. Completely useless product!
It took more than 3 weeks to receive my order. I've found other on line eye glass providers whose turn around time is much quicker. Having said that the glasses fit well and are perfect for reading and distance.
I'm really glad I found CoolFrames! I was about to head to Cancun and needed some sunglasses as I had lost mine. To my surprise, I got some high-end Versace shades at an amazing price. They shipped them out to me very quickly and I was able to enjoy them while soaking up the sun by the beach! I am going to order my wife her own pair. Super impressed!
I bought a Frame 10 days ago that was supposed to be delivered in not more than four business days, and additional pay for two days delivery; but after ten days, they said that I needed to wait two weeks more to start the delivery.
I'm going to complement this previous comment. As I mentioned, I had problems with this purchase, but after making my claim and being able to talk with the company representative. They were very diligent in finding the solution to my problem, they were very attentive, and after explaining the delay to me, they did everything possible to ship the item as soon as they were allowed. Unfortunately, I had to return the item when it arrived, but the company recognized the total amount paid; for the inconvenience that was caused, I thank Mr. Lee for his greater understanding, and I do not hesitate to make a purchase again on his website, which has shown me honesty and commitment.
I wish I could give this company zero stars. They messed up my prescription, as I paid a lot of money for two designer frames with progressive lenses. When I get them I can't see a thing, and when I make them aware of this they blame me that I entered the wrong information when I know that I didn't. They even made a mistake on one of their emails with what I entered. Every email I received from them has something misspelled, or grammatical error. I have reported them, and demand my money back, which I'm sure I will spend more taking them to court. They are a bunch of thieves.
I received the glasses I ordered today. First time ordering from Cool Frames. Took a little long, 3 1/2 weeks for them to ship but I'm very happy with the product. Ordered 10% gradient brown tint lenses. They're exactly what I wanted.
This company dose not specify whether the frames are kids or adults. I called and the lady hung up on me don't use them very rude. Plus they want to charge you a 20% restocking fee to send the frames back after the website does not specify that the frames are ordered were kids. Just said ladies.
Fast user friendly website. Large selection of frames. Bigger discount offers would be a blessing to save money with todays inflation prices. After all most frames are made in China for under ten dollars and less.
A little bit of delay in processing my two frames (10 calendar days) but the shipping was superfast and received the order 2 days earlier than expected!
The Customer Service is also very helpful, nice and prompt.
