Allowed me to place and pay for an order for two pans even though the pans were not in stock.
Followed up with the company 3 business days later after reading awful reviews for this company.
They originally mentioned it would ship in 3 - 6 business days, but after following up and specifically asking if they had my items in stock, sure enough, they said they were waiting for a shipment to complete my order.
Asked them which item was not in stock that they were waiting for (I ordered two pans) and they responded both of them (ha!)
To their credit (?) I requested a refund and they sent one right away. Money was just refunded into my account.
That being said, totally screwed my mother's day gift plans. Thanks CookStore.
Placed an order on Sunday morning, asked for a change a few hours later as I made a mistake. But was told Monday morning it was too late, that the product has shipped. I wanted to exchange for a larger cup, but they wouldn't accommodate my request. Don't purchase from them company as they will not accommodate reasonable requests.
Terrible vendor. Both times I ordered from this company I had many week delays on orders. The first time, my order was held up by one item, which I requested to be cancelled to expedite the order. I was assured that item was cancelled, but apparently this never happened as the "cancelled" item still arrived. The item was cheap, so I figured it was a simple mistake, and subsequently placed a second but have again had crazy shipping delays. I am still waiting for the item to ship, 3 weeks later, even though this item is/was listed as "in stock and ready to ship".
I will absolutely not be ordering from here again, unless I have an extra month to wait.
The item I ordered is a stand mixer and it has been working well so far, operating very quietly compared to other mixers seen before. Shipping was quick and efficient, well-packed and arriving via courier due to its weight. The purchasing process has been a positive experience.
This was my first experience buying from this site and the experience fit the promises. My order shipped within the 5-10 day promised window (about day 7) and it arrived a few days before the initial promised day. Item was as ordered and we're enjoying our product. I didn't have a need to contact customer service so can't speak to how that, but then I didn't need to. If you're not in a hurry for a product (ie next day) then this site is reliable from my experience.
It took longer than expected to get my purchase, but I understand it was not necessarily under your control. While I waited, the product I purchased became on sale. When I wrote to ask if i could benefit from that sale price, I was impressed. In less than 10 minutes, you applied a credit to my card, even before I got an answer. Thanks!
We placed the order on November 3 and till now we have no tracking information, no order status. They didn't replay to the E-mail for 3 days. I tray to phone them 10 times before someone answered. They didn't reply ion the voice message. They tell you a different story every time and hold your money for more than 17 days and no order. I will absolutely not be ordering from here again.
This company is an absolute joke to deal with. They'll lie to you about shipping times during high volume seasons just to grease an extra sale. When i brought this up with their representative, they told me that they had quoted a different wait time... i had specifically clarified the wait time because i am travelling outside of the country. Very disappointed with the shady tactics this company uses to try to compete in the public market.
I ordered several items from Cookstore.ca. The website is clear, straightforward and they have a wonderful selection of quality items. I received items as quickly as possible but we are in a pandemic and some items, unfortunately, are delayed. They kept me informed and are very responsive. I've seen some complaints here and I'd like to remind everyone... let's take a deep breath and look at the big picture. We are discussing cookware... not life and death.
This organization does not respect its agreements. Beware of buying on this website. You might not receive what your ordered and their customer service doesn't care about your satisfaction. I do not recommend this company.
I ordered two sets of vacuum seal bags from this company in January. I have had to call over 5 times to inquire about the status of the order, and have still not received anything. The company has never sent me an update about the pending order and never informed me one of my items was back ordered at the time of purchase or sent me an email after the purchase advising me of the back order. I've had to reach out and do all the leg work myself. Since it's been two months and I haven't received anything or proactive updates about the order I ask that the delivery fee be waived. They have refused and I've asked for a supervisor to follow up several times and been promised a call back, but still haven't heard a word. I strongly suggest finding another company to place your order with.
You order items which they say are in stock. Then when it comes time to ship (which also takes forever and a day), there are items which you ordered that are no longer available. The absolutely worst online service i have ever witnessed.
The website is extremely easy to navigate, Which made the purchasing of the product that much easier.And to my amazement it had arrived on my doorstep within four days. Great job guys thanks so much. I'll be sure to order from you again.
Shipping was slow but understandable given time of year and pandemic. Otherwise the site has nice products and I appreciated the very responsive support staff who kept me updated of order status and I like to support canadian.
I ordered from them, weeks have gone by and nothing had been shipped. When I contact them I get a mix of either the items are out of stock but coming soon, or they have been discontinued and encouraging me to buy other items. I keep saying no, to just refund me and they don't. I'm now in contact with Fraud department with my credit card to get my money back as they charged me but never sent any merchandise.
I ordered twice on the cook store's website.
The first time was normal a five star experience.
The last order never arrives. I e-mail 3 times and call 3 times.
Only the 1st time someone replied to me that there will be a 3-6 b-days delay.
It has been 3 months now.

I ordered 2 items, sent an email to customer service after 3 weeks without an update. Been told my order was delayed. Then I've been contacted by the customer service because one of my items was not available anymore. I've been asked to replace it with another one. The one I wanted (supposedly in stock because it was ONLINE) but OH NO! Finally out of stock as well...
And when I asked about my other item, I had to wait again 2 to 4 weeks (!) until THEY receive it, so maybe it would take again more than a month for me to receive it! So I asked for a full refund.
WOW! I don't know how they're still in business when I read all similar bad reviews! I should have read them first and I really don't recommend buying on this website.
Ordered TWO pans during black friday sale. None of them were listed as out of stock or backordered. I got notified within a week or so that there was a delay with one of the items but they would ship soon. One month later I emailed to complain. They responded by identifying which item was not available (yet) to ship. I asked that they ship the available one in the meantime (at their cost) or refund the whole order. No answer. Another two weeks go by and I get a generic email saying it has been a long time and if I prefer I can get a refund. I respond to say yes, give me a refund (or as I previously stated, send me the one pan that's available). It has been two weeks and no response. Two months after my order was placed and nothing has shipped, and no refund. What a joke.
I ordered some things in mid-November. The website indicated that they would ship in 1-2 weeks. I still have not received anything and they will not answer my calls or emails. Have had to put in a charge back request through my credit card. Do not order from them.
I ordered a frying pan from them and received confirmation of my purchase right away. A week and a half gone by and no update on when I will get my pan. I tried messaging them through email and website and no response. They also blocked me from seeing their website all together after I messaged them. Now I have no way to reach them. Please believe all the negative reviews on cookstore. They are a scam

Answer: I am one of those who hates supporting the world wide behemoth online store so randomly bought from this Canadian company. The item I bought was not available in any local retail stores which is still my preference for shopping.(Victorinox - Blue 8" Fibrox Pro Straight Blade Chef Knife). I placed the order, had the confirmation email shortly, item shipped as expected and I had it in a few days. I'd use them again.
