Unbiased information on anything these days is a real blessing. Keep up the good work and continue to give us information on safe supplements etc. The fact that cost is considered when recommending products is important to some of us. I am always looking for easy to swallow or liquid supplements because of a throat condition.
Whenever I read about a new recommendation for a pill or potion I first go to Consumer Labs to see what the test reveal. Common sense is sometime no more than bad habit. My friends who swear by "ancient" Asian medicine say that it must work because it has been used for centuries. And I remind them that medicine not so long ago drilled holes in people's skulls to let out the bad humors. Keep up the science.
Thank you for that nice review, Richard. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
This is a great website dispensing valuable information. My greatest desire however is for Consumer Lab to review the claims of the product known as "Balance of Nature" Their radio ads are full of testimonials from happy customers telling people they have been cured of everything from rashes to cancer. They claim to have dehydrated fruits and vegetables into tablets that provide similar nutritional value as whole fruits and vegetables. The product is quite expensive and a lot of older people are buying into it.
We're glad to have you as a member, Frank! Thanks for your review. You can always feel free, as can any member, to shoot us suggestions on products you would like to see tested in the future.
I have been a member as far back as I can remember... definitely more than 10 years. I reference this site on a regular basis, for myself and others. The background information provided gives you a clear sense of whether or not to use the latest and greatest nutraceutical or decide to buy an old standby from a new company because their production standards are better. I find it invaluable.
Thanks for letting us know, James. That's exactly why we are here.
In the main, I find this to be a wonderful resource. I appreciate learning about the products you have tested, and your results have influenced buying habits for many products. For all of that, five stars!
I understand that you cannot be all things to all people, but I sometimes find that specific products tested were not anything I use or recognize as something seen in the Midwest. Another issue is that some of the studies you cite of how certain nutrients or commodities affected people are based on such small numbers of subjects that I doubt their validity. Occasionally you flag those studies, but (I suspect) not as often as you should.
Nonetheless, keep on doing so much good work.
We're glad to have you as a member, Jan! Thanks for your review. You can always feel free, as can any member, to shoot us suggestions for brands that you would like us to test.
Your site provides superb, detailed information on all products you review. In addition, your narratives are highly readable (and even captivating!) I have been subscribed for several years and wouldn't even consider giving up my subscription.
Thank you so much for your kind words and loyalty! We're thrilled to hear that you find our site's product information informative and our narratives engaging. We greatly appreciate your long-term membership and look forward to continuing to provide you with valuable content. If you ever have any suggestions or feedback, please feel free to share; we're always eager to improve our services to meet your needs.
I have had a subscription for many years. Consumer Labs gives unbiased research on many drugs, supplements, products, ect. It is very informative and research based. The weekly emails are loaded with information that is relevant to the present(e.g. Covid-19). Highly recommend!
Thank you very much for sharing that, Joseph. We are very glad that you appreciate the work we are doing. We appreciate your support.
As a chemist, I appreciate sources from which studies are done and the statistical validity of the study results. I often look up substances that I might be interested in purchasing. Sometimes I wish more brands were included. Life Extension is a big supplement supplier and should be included as much as possible.
Thanks for your nice review, Joanne. We're glad that you appreciate our science-based approach. We'll keep your suggestions in mind.
I always check with Consumer Lab before purchasing any supplements. What is extremely important
Is their ability to inform the best, the worst, and the cost of products they review. They ask their
Subscribers what products they would like to be reviewed.
CL is not like others on the internet just giving numbers of reviewers by people who purchased the product. CL does actual research. Thanks to CL I make excellent decisions when purchasing supplements.
Thank you for kind words, Harlene!
For years I have relied on ConsumerLab to help me select health supplements that are safe, effective and appropriate. ConsumerLab is my go-to source for reliable information, and I actively promote its use to others. Every supplement I've bought has to have been checked and rated by ConsumerLab. I choose cocoa, green tea, extra-virgin olive oil, canned fish, and many other products based on CL recommendations.
We appreciate your support, Kathrynne. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review.
I deeply appreciate the quick responses not only related to the virus, but continuing to test & update test all the supplements. I have recommended to at least 12 people, plus one primary care physician, that a CL subscription is mandatory.
We're glad to hear that ConsumerLab.com is helpful to you, Robert. Thank you for spreading the word!
The need for reliable, objective information about health and nutritional products has never been greater than now. Things are advertised as being helpful for this or that, but are they really? And who says? Even if they are, does a given brand really deliver what the bottle says they do? And what about cost-effectivity? Who has the best price per dose? Consumerlabs answers all these questions and more. If you consider yourself a well informed consumer of nutrients, supplements, vitamins, and health products in general, or, like me, you want to be - subscribe. You will be like me and glad that you did.
I've been a member a long time. I like the publication, but sometimes the information very hard to read. There is a lot of detail. It would be nice to have a quick summary. The website hasn't changed at all, so searching for information is hard. Also... there are so many products that are never reviewed and tested.
Thanks for your feedback, Carol. We will be launching a new website later this year, which will have a lot of new features to help you navigate our site. Please feel free to shoot us an email in the future if you have suggestions on products you would like to see tested.
Consumers expect free content, and yes, there IS plenty of good information on the web free of charge. But, in the world of nutritional supplements one must sort thru a mountain of misleading infomercials, anecdotal or superficial evidence, and bad science in order to find useful and credible information. Even if you have the necessary background in science or medicine to do so, who has the time?
ConsumerLab makes an enormous amount of good information readily available and should be required reading for anyone interested in taking supplements of any kind.

We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
I have been a member for quite a few years and have found numerous studies and articles on products that were of importance to me or family. The explanations of how supplements work, why certain vitamins, minerals etc are important and what to watch out for have been so helpful. I can't count the number of times I changed what I was going to do based on research and information I read on the Consumer Lab website.
We're glad that you are enjoying your membership to ConsumerLab, Sue. Thanks for your feedback!
In this age of no accountability for what you put in your mouth it is reassuring to have a site where science reigns and products are tested for the content they claim to provide. They can't test all products in a category but do enough to give me a choice.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
Awesome resource for up to date reviews and analyses of many foods, vitamins and supplements. It's a go to resource before spending money blindly on those items. The information I have found in the website has informed me many times on what to purchase.
Thank you for that nice review, Sue. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
I've used ConsumerLab for many years. It's my go-to reference when investigating viability of different vitamins and other supplements. It is a lot of information but it's been such a help in determining what vitamins might work or not. It's been invaluable for me.
Thank you for that nice review, Ruth. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
I have studied vitamins, minerals, and amino acids for over 30 years. It has been almost impossible to find detailed, accurate, and unbiased information until I found ConsumerLab.com. The website is user friendly and has been able to answer all my questions. I highly recommend this website.
And we are glad that you found us, Kenneth! Thanks for the nice review!
Consumer Lab has verified or warned against ingredients and contaminants in so many things people consume without knowing of their dangers... or their specific values. Because of my ability to check first with ConsumerLabs, I feel confident in what and why I buy. I have shared some reviews with physicians, who do not have time or access to this detailed info. They have been grateful for the education. Thanks for years of conscientious testing and information.
We're glad to hear that ConsumerLab.com is helpful to you, Robyn. Thank you for spreading the word and thanks for your feedback!

Answer: There is no single best supplement or brand. It's best to focus on the type of supplement you are looking for, e.g., multivitamin, fish oil, probiotic, herbal) and read our Product Review for that specific category and see which product is our Top Pick for that category. Here is a list of our current reports: https://www.consumerlab.com/results/
Answer: Yes, we recently published a new report on turmeric and curcumin supplements as well as turmeric spice (ground root powders) at https://www.consumerlab.com/reviews/turmeric-curcumin-supplements-spice-review/turmeric/
