ConsumerLab has unbiased and honest reviews. They test it and report it, simple as that. It always has good content on articles regarding products and testing and I rely on their honesty before I purchase any products. Keep up the good work!
I find the information useful when I look for a supplement. The information has references to studies and tests of products. This is very helpful when there is so much information floating around the internet.
We're glad to have you as a member, Susanne! Thanks for your review.
Consumer lab is the only resource for independent trustworthy, a supplement reviews. I refer to consumer lab frequently regarding supplement use. However, I have recommended some products be reviewed and have never received a response from consumer lab to my recommendations nor have my recommended products been reviewed.

Regular subscriber, use regularly. Only convenient source of information on the studies of supplements. Seems very factual and balanced. Study of actual contents of supplements is vital and appreciated.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Mark!
Very accurate and excellent research and information. I have used them for years and the cost of membership has paid for itself over and over now that i am getting the best supplements for my dollar. Love love love this site.
We are truly honored to have you as a long-standing member Laurel of our community and thrilled to hear about your positive experiences with us! Your trust in our accuracy, research, and information means the world to us.
The newsletters are e-mailed and just the right frequency. I open them and read them and then follow the links to changes or new info that I'm interested in. I often use the test results - especially the Top Picks are very helpful. When I'm interested in getting help with a specific health problem, I like that there are articles I can search for; the search applet is good. I also benefit from the comments section and I think it's so great that CL responds to those. My only complaint is that I wish I didn't need to sign in before clicking on a link. Why can't I sign in after clicking and still be taken to that info?
Thank you very much for sharing that, Linda. We are very glad that you appreciate the work we are doing. We appreciate your support.
Love that they do their own testing. Have found many products that were virtually useless and other products that were what they were supposed to be. Always check here for info on virtually any health products.
Thanks for letting us know, John. That's exactly why we are here.
I rely on CL's reviews of nutritional supplements and ancillary health-related products (such as water- and air- filters) in choosing appropriate porducts for myself and my family--but I have found that in the last couple of years, the brands they choose to review--and update--are not the brands that I have interest in and are most accessible. Further, CL is choosing to 'recycle' reviews more often rather than review new science and new (and promising) supplements. I am not sure whether this is a result of the general, pandemic-related slow down in virtually everything, but after being a member for many years (10+), I'm not sure I'll renew my membership.
This is a "must" site. Over the years, I've found 3 brands of different supplements I'd been buying regularly got a "Not Approved" on Consumer Lab. I was really surprised - the brands were Dr Weil, Whole Foods house brand, and some other costly resveratrol. They don't always list the stuff I get, but it's satisfying to see when your stuff gets their "Approved" label.
Thank you for that nice review, Mike. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
I appreciate Consumer Lab and refer to it weekly. However, if I were to use all the Approved supplements, I'd be over-whelmed with pills and capsules. I'd like more help sorting out what is necessary for me and what is not.
Thanks for your review, Ryan. Within the Reviews, we identify our Top Picks or best choices among those that have been Approved. Approval means that a product passed our laboratory testing, e.g., containing their key ingreidents, not exceeding limits for contaminants, etc. Each Review also includes information that should help you first decide whether or not a type of supplement is potentially useful and appropriate (or ineffective and possibly dangerous), what dose is appropriate, and which product or products would be best -- factoring in their quality, ingredients, dose, and relative cost. I hope that helps.
I always go to consumer lab before purchasing a supplement. I appreciate the easy access to scientific studies and references. As a retired chemist, I realize the importance of research and references.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Joanne!
I find the reviews very helpful, especially when choosing products. Not all of the reviews are relevant to my situation, but many are and I appreciate your efforts to find the best products, and dispel myths.
Thank you! We're glad that the product reviews are helpful to you.
I appreciate the valuable information about supplements and other health related information.
Your science based information helps me select supplements and gives me valuable information about other health concerns.
Thank you so much Charles for taking the time to share your feedback with us! We're thrilled to hear that you find our science-based information on supplements and health-related topics valuable. At Consumerlab, our mission is to provide you with the most reliable and up-to-date information to help you make informed decisions about your health and wellness.
I've been a member here since you were recommended years ago on the Dr. Oz show. I find your reviews very helpful. However, the only products I use are Isagenix and ProCaps Andrew Lessman. There are very few reviews on these products, as well as on pet products. I also find the yearly fee to be quite high for as often as I need it. I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income, so I probably won't renew.
We're glad that you enjoy ConsumerLab.com. Thank you for posting your comments.
After learning the hard way, I've made a point to search your treasure trove of information before purchasing any supplements. This is more important now than ever as fancy packaging with false claims conceal faulty products.
Thank you for that nice review, Tina. We're glad that you appreciate our work. Thanks for your support.
It's great to learn something new when it comes nutrition and health and what better way than from the pros. Still curious, then go further, search, google with your questions or go to your library.
Thank you for that nice feedback, Dominic!
I have been a subscriber to Consumer Lab for many years and I value their input and extensive explanations of the different vitamins and minerals and particularly the herb and miscellaneous supplement reviews and recommendations. I have been taking supplements for probably 25 to 30years and have an actual age of 76 and an effective age according to others as well as myself of 60. I trust Consumer Lab reviews and their detailed analysis. I am taking probably about 28 supplements daily which are spread out over three meals.
We're glad that you are enjoying your membership to ConsumerLab, Randy. Thanks for letting us know.
Before starting any new supplement, I always check with consumerlab.com to see if they have ratings for it and which ones pass or fail. Sometimes a brand available to me wasn't tested so I have to just pick one as long as it's not one that's not been approved - but I try to pick one that has been approved if I can find it. I trust their ratings, and I appreciate all the info about each supplement - like the different forms it may come in and the pros and cons of each.
Thanks for your review, Linda. We appreciate your support!. You can always feel free, as can any member, to shoot us suggestions for products you would like us to test.
The information provided by ConsumerLab.com is most helpful. Notable examples are information on supplements to prevent, reduce the risk of or treat Kidney stones, Macular Degeneration, and also the Coronavirus. There are times when they review supplements and conditions for which I would never have thought to look up information, and the information proves to be both interesting and helpful. I will continue to subscribe to this worthwhile report.
I started with Consumer Labs when the annual fee was $25.00. It was well worth it then and I still consider it worth the current annual price. It has been an excellent resource in working with patients at the Health Center and for my own use. The summaries of the latest research saves me time and is a must read before selecting any supplement. If you want more information, the references are provided.
Excellent for personal and professional use.

Answer: There is no single best supplement or brand. It's best to focus on the type of supplement you are looking for, e.g., multivitamin, fish oil, probiotic, herbal) and read our Product Review for that specific category and see which product is our Top Pick for that category. Here is a list of our current reports: https://www.consumerlab.com/results/
Answer: Yes, we recently published a new report on turmeric and curcumin supplements as well as turmeric spice (ground root powders) at https://www.consumerlab.com/reviews/turmeric-curcumin-supplements-spice-review/turmeric/
