The shipment has been abandoned at customs in Guayaquil. I was not aware that nicotine gum was not allowed/needed a Ministry of Public Health allowance to be let into the county of Ecuador. I was told that I needed to be aware of local rules/customs about shipments of goods and perhaps so, but that is not my wheelhouse. I would think that a shipping company would have some ideas as to how to break apart a large package or have some knowledge of what may be allowed and what may not be since a shipping company does this for a living. Will be using a mule service/alternative shipping company from now on.
Before Trying Comgateway service, I tried Myus.com and Borderlinx.com service. They both are very good and even Comgateway is also very good. I would like to say to all sitejabber visitors, Sitejabber review are very fake because It's just an open platform, no reviews are verified by Sitejabber. I waited for 38 days and still have not got my package, I contact service at about 20 days after my shipment order, and service keep telling me they are checking with FedEx and tell me to wait. I waited for 38 days, and I'm still waiting, and I feel that nothing I can do about my issue. Maybe I will get my package as a Xmas present.
Why do you want to choose comGateway? Cheap? No. Efficent? No. Helpful? No. Why don't you try something good in the business?

Beware they are big scammer, they received my product and i paid for shipping, after two days they closed my account without any reason, saying the product will be returned to merchant where it came from. It's my dad's birthday this April and he works in the Middle East. I am from Asia. I used comGateway to send my birthday gifts to him and it was very easy.
From time to time, I also used to buy stuff for myself from the US. I do it because it is either more expensive here or it is limited to the US only. Comgateway's Customer Service is superb and I always get a satisfactory response.
I have been using Comgateway's services for many years now to ship my US purchases to Malaysia. I have always been impressed by their level of customer service which had always been consistently excellent. Just when I thought service couldn't get any better, I was truly blown away by their recent generous gesture of extending the free storage period on my parcels as I am not able to ship my packages back to Malaysia due to Covid-19 restrictions in my home country.

At first, their service seems OK. When items arrived in their earehouse, invoices were scanned within 3-4 hours and immediately I can proceed quickly. DHL was good, I asked them to ship on Thirsday and parcel arrived in Sydney, Australia by Monday. But, When my parcel arrived, 5 items were missing! I re-checked the invoice that they scanned for me, everything arrived at their warehouse OK. However, they took 5 items, crossed it off the original hard copy invoice before they forward the parcel to me, WITHOUT NOTICE!
Basically stealing, do not use them! They are the cheapest, but if you're missing your items, thats a crime!
Also, they don't consolidate items at all! 7.5kgs was charged at $90, I thought it should be $24 basic fare + $28= $52 or similar. And my packages were small, size of a laptop box.
So all in all, they steal and rip off our money. Better go for other companies.

I ordered certain mobile phone accessories from ComGateway (with the "BuyForMe" service) since they are not sold in my country. I was a bit apprehensive about the order since other feedback on this site was quite negative. However, I had a very positive experience. The order was placed very quickly and I was informed when the order was done, when it was received by the company and when they sent the product to me. The overall expenses were pretty high but not because of ComGateway - most expenses resulted from the fees of the courier company and the customs agency. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

I bought 4 pairs of shoes in narrow fittings as these are not available in the UK. I was happy with the service which was very good and they answered queries quickly and efficiently. No problems. The only issue is that there were some unexpected costs which meant I would use it less in future. Eg. The duty and VAT were higher than expected and I had to pay my bank some foreign transaction costs. Eg. I bought 4 pairs of shoes (2 in UK size 13 and 2 in UK size 7). The shoes cost $293.04, the shopping service was $29.30, shipping $107.18, foreign transaction fee £8.25, VAT, duty and Fedex advancement fee £74.84. I hadn't realised how much VAT, duty and advancement fee I would be paying so would be less likely to use the service again or would buy less in future.
I was a little bit worried from ordering from this website to buy a jacket from america. After i used the buy for me service i paid them for the item and then the next working day i received a email saying it had been ordered for me. Once they received the item i was informed right away and i was able to arrange delivery to my uk address. It all took about 2 to 3 weeks to get to me, most of the wait was from the company i bought the jacket from and not comgateway. All in all i am very happy with comgateway and i carn't conplain about the service they gave me it was top notch
