Someone give Debra a raise. I loathe talking to the automated voice message system when I have one question. As the title has stated, someone please give Debra a raise. She was friendly and straightforward.

I would rather deal with my cable company or an airline customer service. I haven't even had this card 10 full days and I'm already planning on canceling it. They promise 20% off your first purchase which they will not give me. They said it had to be the day I opened the account which they did not send me any email confirmation. I don't even believe this is a real company. Please do not fall for their scams!

They refuse to try to help me get the 20% promotional offer and they will just spend hours and hours, days and days, transferring you and hanging up on you. They are the worst!
After claiming I'm a valued customer, they reduced my limit from 1250 to 300. No warning, no explanation other than the credit bureau sent them a letter. Lies. I've paid this card off twice, my balance was like $300, and I may have been late 4 times in the span of 5 years of having this card. This is BS, and they know it. I cancelled the card, very frustrated with this company.
Worst company to work with. Send payment to them and they take 20 days to process the payment which makes it late then charges ya a late fee. Gives ya the run around when you try to call then to see what is taken so long. Would not suggest them to anyone

I never know when a charge on my comenity MC will be rejected with no explanation. I've always been in good standing with my account. I took extended family out to a birthday dinner, card was declined. Went on vacation and my card was declined at the hotel. Tried to order $50 total of safety flags online today, card was declined. All the representative could tell me was the bank rejected the charge. No specific reason. I'm done with this card.
Steadily receive 'rejection letters' despite never once applying for credit. I since discovered that Comenity retrieves any and all personal information they need from the White Pages. The second you receive unsolicited offers of rejections from them, REPORT them immediately to the BBB/ Credit Bureau/ AND Trade Commission. Upon doing so, freeze your credit history and place a fraud alert it. Otherwise, they will keep it up until your credit/ reputation is completely ruined.

Had fraud on my credit card. Long story short, they did absolutely nothing to help. Not even freeze my account to prevent further damage. Hours and hours of aggravation and several hundred dollars lost. Do yourself a favor, stay away.

Do not bank with this bank. Do not open a famous footwear credit card. They routinely mailed statements so there was no chance a payment could be made on time. Charging multiple late fees. Even after I paid the balance and closed my account I continued to receive payment collection notices. When I called they said it takes 7-10 business days to process, in the meantime it seems like they added new charges even though I've not purchased anything new and my account is closed. More fees?!

I set my account up to be drafted automatically every month. They take the payment well after the due date and then charge you a 30 dollar late fee. I paid them off and cancelled my account. You've been warned! Stay away from these crooks!

They are by far the most obnoxious bank that I have done business with. Unfortunately, they are the bank for some stores I shop at the most. Seriously, one day late and I got 20 calls in ONE DAY! One call will remind me, but 20, makes me NOT!
I have requested a pin to be sent to me three times now and was told it would be mailed, each time they tell me one is on the way and it never shows, what good is this card for me when I needed it to go out of town and was going to use it for some extra cash! No one had an answer as to why my card wont work other than we can send you another... What good is that when the first three pins haven't shown up!
After paying my statement balance at the end of every month. Comenity still charges interest. I was told interest is a month in arrears which makes no sense. However, I just wanted to report this is how the banks messed up your credit by being shady…Worse bank for credit cards. Hopefully, VS find another bank to service their cards like BJs did…very annoyed!

Worst bank EVER got cc from academy store you never get a email,bill is always sent late, none of thier phone numbers on the statement for customer service work, I had to call a local store to get the correct number to call. Logged into online account and it showed I owed nothing. Store is ok to purchase from,but don't EVER get a credit card with them.
Big disappointment and a sense of injustice!
After system error and 5 phone calls to find someone to help me …I had unfair bad report and huge decrease of my credit line … stay a way from that bank!

I had a Victoria's Secret credit card through Comenity. I missed one payment and they called my father in law, my sister and my husbands grandmother on hospice in a nursing facility trying to get in touch with me. I do not even know how they got all of these phone numbers because none of these numbers are on my account. They continuously called and left messages. This is harassment and unacceptable. I paid off my card and closed the account. Now I'm getting phone calls from them because my mom missed a payment on her card. This is ridiculous and never ending.

They claim I cancelled my credit card after someone said it was fraudulently opened (but I was making full monthly payments) - fraudsters don't make payments. Then they said nothing they could do when I tried to reopen and they hung up on me. Just TERRIBLE!
Never dealt with a worse credit card company in 40 years. I pay my cards off on time but this company gets you with bogus late fee's and then no customer service to fix problem. I had a zero balance and canceled the card and they were still trying to bill me for interest...you will be on the phone for hours over days and weeks to fix the problem. I won they lost because I would not give in and played their game until I won ( not it is not worth it) do your self favor and don't do business with them! You heard irthere folks!

Several months of trying to pay them unsuccessfully. There are numerous payment methods, none of which work. I finally called a rep, who processed my payment, only to be called by Comenity collections telling me my account is past due. It seems my payment is showing but not posting to which I was told, quite smugly, that "calls will continue until the payment is made". Screw you morons. If I didn't need the info for my credit report I'd close my BJs, Famous Footwear, Venus, Boscov's, etc. lines of credit. Called customer service with four issues - ZERO of them resolved! Way to go "BREAD"!

Avoid this institution. You will get charged for interest even though the store tells the offer is 12 months interest free.

Comenity Bank for Ulta's MasterCard is the WORST EXPERIENCE I've ever had. This is my girlfriend's CC just from this past Christmas, she had to go out of the country on an emergency, so I was trying to pay her bill. I jumped through hoops on the website, listened to automated advertising messages over and over... Had to call the bank, got tossed around, and then finally was supposed to speak with a human. She told me she could take the payment, but wouldn't tell me how much was needed to pay. So, after some time I was able to get my girlfriend on the phone. She proceeded to tell us today was the due day and then that we were just a little late, so there was a $30 late fee! She wouldn't remove the late for being an hour late, after I had wasted 3-4 hours. And, after we finally called South America, to verify the info, she tells us this. UNREAL. DO NOT get the Ulta CC, even if it saves you on the purchase.

This bank is a nightmare. They acquired the visa card accounts from AAA auto club from Bank of America.
I had those AAA Visa cards for many years and everything went smoothly with Bank of America.Once Comenity Bank took over it's been a nightmare. They changed billing dates, renewed the wrong account and are impossible to reach. I have a credit score of over 800 and have never had a late payment with anyone in my life. I closed any credit card that was associated with Comenity. BJ's wholesale ceased doing business with them as of January 2023 because they were unhappy with Comenity. They are now trying to extort money from me saying I owe them late fees, which I disputed with them. But they continue to harass me by mail and email several times a week. If I owed them anything they would have been paid. You don't achieve a credit score of over 800 by having late fees. I never have had any, but Comenity keeps trying. Lord knows how long this is going to go on. Worst Bank Ever!
