They cancelled my sat 2 weeks before test date, then charged me extra for me to find another test center on the same day (because it was a lAtE ReGisTraTioN). Greediest company I have ever seen..
I hate to sound like the bitter, disgruntled customer that most employees hate to put up with however, my heart breaks for the lack of concern, professionalism, and proficient customer service of this "non-profit" organization. So here I am fighting to retrieve my scores for the December 1,2018 Subject Tests Date. Here's the story: I was signing up for another test date shortly after taking my exams as scheduled. Turns out, I ended up switching my registration while scoring was in process. I understand the mistake on my part, however I never opted to cancel my scores. So with this said, how is it that there is no recollection of anyone receiving my answer sheets. They pride themselves on test security, but still can't tell me my scores when I know those answer sheets are tracked carefully from the testing center to the College Board headquarters. They sent my case to the escalation team to further handle the issue. They said it would take 5 to 7 business days. Could have fooled me. It's been exactly two weeks now. I'm extremely upset because they were suppose to be communicating with me via email regarding the case. They've only done so once. They don't take into consideration that a student may need those scores to satisfy College/University deadlines, they just patronize you with the "I understand your concerns sir". I think the $#*! not!. This isn't the first time College Board has screwed up the futures of prospective college students. It should be a real wake up call when you are responsible for losing 100 student answer sheets, (took place 3 yrs ago for Virginia students) and having no solution for other students but to retake the test, placing an extra financial burden on some families. The moral of the story is, don't pride yourselves on being about education but can't effectively work with students with something simple as their test scores, a vital component to college admissions. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. I am so glad my time of testing is done, except for one AP exam that I must take in May. Disgusting organization that I soon hope will hang itself by the neck with its long rope of deceit.
Bad experience i don't know where to complain about the school because they ignore me and I want some explanation
Waivers are limited, site is not flexible, customer service not flexible; I had a waiver for a subject test, subject tests went away, could not use waiver for regular SAT
The title says it all. Why is it that nothing ever seems to load on their website? 1 star. The students of America deserve infinitely better.
Disgusted and Outraged by the absolute disregard for customer service exhibited by the College Board.
To say that I am disappointed by the complete absence of ANY communication from College Board as to the status of my archived scores request would be a gross understatement. I am 7 weeks into NO COMMUNICATION or update or sense of where this search lies and despite being thrice told verbally (because it surely wasn't communicated in writing) that my paper application request has been received, I am not getting anywhere or any direction with College Board on this.
I have called College Board every single week for the last six weeks and have gotten nowhere. No one who answers the phone, while courteous, has ever been empowered to get me any information whatsoever as to the status of my request.
I am not allowed to speak with a manager or supervisor, so there is no one to whom I can escalate this matter so as to get some kind of direction. This is the single remaining piece of information holding back my application for a Master's Degree in Teaching that I was looking to begin this January 2021. Every other part of the application has been completed for weeks, except this. The impact is that I have not wasted more than a month of inaction that could have been funnelled into taking steps towards having to retake the state-mandated stardardized test.
The amount of money one has to spend in order, to take an SAT, cancel an SAT registration, send an SAT score, see what questions you got wrong and everything else. This is completely ridiculous.
Trash, logs you out when you are looking over your test results, too much of a hassle to study, need to fix their website
Hello, I'm your typical high school student and I'm here to tell you the college board can suck my balls. This useless, money grabbing scheme is such an enormous waste of time and is so obviously only geared towards making money. I've asked the college board THIRTEEN times to stop emailing me yet everyday they continue to send emails. The emails ask if I would like to see what questions I missed on the SAT. Here's something about the SAT: the SAT can also suck my balls. Those soy boy beta cucks that are responsible for the college board and the SAT can go get shot in Iraq. I never studied for your pointless test and I did fine. Also it didn't even matter in the long run. WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR A TEST IM FORCED TO TAKE. So to everyone at college board I wish you all horrible miserable lives and to the useless Indian man that "assisted" me in trying to fix my account over the phone because the college boards website is utter garbage, you were absolutely not helpful and I wish you a life of agony and turmoil. Oh yeah and SUCK MY BALLS. That is all.
Just read any other review on this website. Basically all the same thing, CollegeBoard is a joke, and their website is even worse.
The college board sucks. They claim to be a resource for high school and college students but they really only represent privileged students from traditional families. As a low income student from a single parent household, the college board was always an obstacle to obtaining higher education. I took the ACT in high school rather than the SAT, and got a waiver for the exam. However, when I had to fill out the college board's CSS profile, they did not recognize that I would need financial assistance (because I didn't take the SAT) and I had to pay upwards of $100 to send the CSS profile to each school. Then for the CSS profile, I needed a waiver for my noncustodial parent who was abusive, never supported my family financially, refused to support my educational costs and endeavors, and outright refused to sign the CSS profile until threatened with a court order. Despite all this, the lovely college board said I was not eligible for a waiver and cost my mother more legal fees. College Board, you need to expand your resources to help students that don't fit the traditional household, middle-upper class mold.
Collegeboard overall is just awful. I can't find anything on the site and it's not very intuitive. The layout is a mess, it's cluttered, and there are all these random buttons and links; it just doesn't look good. It's like a whole hunt and peck game except it's not a very fun game. Whenever I log on, it always says there's an error and tells me to keep trying. Like how many times should it take to log in? Or it repeatedly makes me log in to confirm my identity. Please who else would want to get on my account and log into this awful site. It'll randomly freeze on pages as I'm doing my AP questions and it will give me an error and make me log in all over again. The AP questions themselves take forever to load especially on this ancient Chromebook my school has so thoughtfully provided. It might take me an hour to do some AP questions and ten of those minutes are spent waiting for the page to load. Don't get me started on the AP Classroom tests. Those things take an even longer time to load. You want to go back to a question? Sorry, you'll be waiting a few minutes for the dumb question to appear. Also, the maintenance times are so poorly laid out. Why on earth do they fix their site during the school day? I kinda need it during my AP classes. Or they'll shut it down during the night on a week day and I'll be waiting till 7 am to finish my questions that are due in an hour. Their only excuse is "We posted our maintenance times on our Twitter." No one checks College Board's Twitter account okay Bob. Also, it'll randomly go down sometimes and my poor teacher's lesson plan is in ruins cause College Board doesn't have their stuff together. I pay 90 dollars a test for this joke of a site and they even claim to be a "nonprofit". The least they could do is make a functioning site with all that profit they're making. As my wise friend once said, "It's like monkeys in the jungle made it" and boy was he speaking facts. Below is a beautiful error message I get whenever I attempt to log in on the first try.
I called college board on 11/22/2022 and talked to an agent who walked me through ordering my scores. He had me to put in an eligibility code of 9999. This sent my scores to the wrong place. I called back and the person i spoke to said that they put in a ticket to be escalated and they would send my scores to the correct place which is Trenholm. She said that someone from college board would contact me within 2 days. I heard from no one. I called my school and they still did not have the scores. I Called back and spoke to another agent who assured me she was sending the scores, I called back and was provided a batch ID. I spoke to my school and they are not able to locate scores with a batch ID. I placed another order for scores and paid extra for them to be expedited on 11/10/2022. My school still does have have the scores as of 12/02/2022. I've spoken to 5 agents since then and i've been given 3 different case numbers that are supposedly escalated. Every time i speak to an agent there'sa different story. One agent told me that my school can locate my the batch ID because scores are sent electronically. Another agent told me because my scores are archived that they have to be mailed. I've asked all of these agents the address that they supposedly mailed my scores and no one has an answer. All i ever leave a phone call with is a case number. I've paid over $100 at this point and still no scores. The first transaction was supposed to be refunded but the funds have not been received. I asked if the scores could just be sent to my home so I know what address they were coming to and they asked for another $43. Why on earth would i keep paying for something that i'm not receiving. I'm at risk of not graduating my program if i do not have my scores by the end of this month. This is literally affecting my future and no one cares!
Not very helpful at all, very negative and degrading to students. Not user friendly 10/10 don't recommend
They say they are not for profit but every penny you give to them they keep and get to write off taxes by saying they are not for profit
I have never in my life felt so compelled to write a negative review about something as passionately as I do with CollegeBoard/ MyAP as a whole. I registered an account on Sitejabber for the sole purpose of screaming about how much CollegeBoard makes my blood boil. I can excuse long hold times over the phone, but what I cannot excuse are agents hanging up as I try to follow their instructions. I cannot excuse the fact that I contacted Customer Support 6 times, and NONE OF THOSE AGENTS told me the real reason I was unable to see my score until my AP instructor contacted them (spoiler alert: their system had a massive update and screwed over a ton of accounts). I tried to be hopeful. I waited until the deadline day of August 15th to see my score. I didn't get it. I got it TODAY. August 30th. And I'm sure I wouldn't have gotten it AT ALL had I not pestered CollegeBoard enough so that they'd actually do something about it. Also, funnily enough, the STUDENT customer support has a much, much longer wait time and much worse phone call quality compared to the INSTRUCTOR'S customer support. What's up with that? And you know what's the best part? Had to pay their fee. The fee to send "late" scores. That's right folks, if COLLEGEBOARD screws up and looses your score, and you get it AFTER their deadline date of August 15th, YOU have to pay the $25 rush delivery fee. Save yourself the headache, please, and don't use this website. If your school, college or whatever does use CollegeBoard, best of luck. You're gonna need it.
Tried many many times and each time it told me something else was wrong else was wrong like my name or something.
Very poor customer service and inefficient at processing concerns. Communication system is lacking within the entire organization.
TERRIBLE COMPANY, TERRIBLE WEBSTIE DESIGN, ABSOLUTELY WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE
WEIRLDY OVERPRICED TESTS, TERIRBLE CUsTOMER SERVICE, WEBSITE LOGS YOU OUT RANDOMLY, DOESNT LOAD, OR REDIRECTS AND IS GENERALLY SUPER CONFUSING AND SENDS YOU TO ALL THE WRONG PLACES. INFORMATION SCATTERED EVERYWHERE.
THEY CONFIRMED MY SAT REGISTRATION BUT THEN REMOVED? ALL THE INFO AND THE SITE NOW SAYS IM REGISTERED FOR NOTHING.! I WAS NOT REFUNDED! THEY ALSO OPENED REGISTRATIONS FOR EXAMS THAT WERE ALREADY CANCELLED (COVID). SCAMMED. COLLEGEBOARD SHOULD BE PAYING US FOR THE SUFFERING THEYVE CAUSED
*UR RICH, SO HIRE PPL TO IMPROVE PLS? *
:D
What can I say? It's hard to provide helpful insight on a website I've only been able to see 25% of the time I've "wanted" to access it. The first issue is the arbitrarily picky login, seeing as it sometimes decides that your login is incorrect. One compliment I can extend to the website is that this makes successfully getting in on your first attempt can make your day with how rare of an occurrence it is, unfortunately you then are dragged back to reality upon either being trapped on an infinite loading screen, or worse, have to then navigate the website.
The website is a confusing categorized mess of redundant links and hidden backroads. There are maybe thirty ways to get to the contact page, which by the time you reach it you will have inevitably dealt with enough issues to just give up. Meanwhile, in order to get to major parts of the website you have to sometimes go through multiple pages that are unclear about the path you're supposed to take, which would not be an issue if they instead just had a better central hub. Once you get to these major parts of the website, such as APClassroom, you then have to try to find which of the three near identically named pages you need, and much like putting in a flashdrive you will almost always do it incorrectly the first time.
CollegeBoard, with the massive amount of money you have burgled from ages 11+ there is no reason to have a website that loads and navigates worse than ones made by rural Ohio churches. Take a page from Amazon's book, if you're going to be a grossly obvious monopoly then at least be half-competent in providing your service. Maybe one day you'll earn your style point.
Answer: Same here. They are incompetent and just want your money. We have been waiting over 3 weeks for the scores, while others have gotten theirs 5 weeks ago.
