If I could give this organization zero stars I would. My children are registered in the AP chemistry exam. Two months ago I ordered 2 chemistry manuals from their online store. It was international shipping to Canada. Not only did they fail to send me the books, they sent me a digital SAT guide by mistake. It has been two months of trying to deal with them and they still have not refunded me or sent me the right books. They are now, two months later, asking me to ship the SAT book back via international shipping in order for them to process any sort of refund. I have asked them to elevate it to managers, but apparently you cannot talk to a manager because managers are only available on their backend system by email to each other. So I have gone two months without appropriate textbooks or support for my children while having paid hundreds of dollars that has not been refunded (or serviced) and they are trying to penalize me more by forcing me to pay more money for very expensive international shipping instead of sending the mistaken book back on their own Purolator account. This company has zero accountability and their customer service is worse than the airlines.
Educators: please do not subject your students to this group. Currently, my high school student's grades are in jeopardy because his teacher assigned something that can only be done on the College Board website. But he can't log into the website, and there is no solution available. College Board won't respond to emails from myself or my child/student. They won't reset a login code. Multiple phone calls to customer service have found us on hold for over 45 minutes. They simply won't respond. Seems like a lost cause to me! Avoid, avoid, avoid.
I've been on the phone for 48 minutes trying to merge my childs two accounts. This should not take this long. I'm still holding. There is a major language barrier. The CS rep spelled my name back and said "K as in cancer, E as in elephant."
Are you kidding me?
The college board has been one of the most frustrating and poorly run organizations I have encountered. There was an issue with my daughter's SAT scores not being released and in my three phone calls, the agents state that it will be resolved, however there is no follow through on their end. Each time you call, you get a different agent and you cannot work with the same person. I don't have any confidence in the verbal commitments from their agents who make promises to resolve the problem and get back to you since they never do what they say. She will move to the ACT from this point forward. The college board plays an important role with students and families and their service is very disappointing.
These people SUCK. We paid for and "secured" a spot for SAT testing. About a week before they reached out and flat out cancelled it. "Capacity issues" poor kid had been preparing and now will need to take in the middle of the school year and not over summer.
The "forgot password" process doesn't even work. For a long time I wasn't even allowed to log in because this website was so buggy, and kept sending me in an endless loop of errors. And they haven't done much at all to fix it.
Terrible customer service. Corrupt monopoly. My son studied hard for SAT exam, and they cancelled a few days before with no reason. They do not care to offer an alternate location. When I complained about this, I was talking to a wall blabbering about the agreement we sign during the registration. How convenient. This monopoly should be ended to get some respectful customer service.
Horrible customer service. They collect all the fees and the minute you have an issue and call for help you will sit on hold for over 45 min. And still can't get through to someone. Congress should be investigating them because they are obviously scamming the Americas collage students.
As others have mentioned, this website is broken. There are only two probably emails and phone numbers I would have used to set up account. I keep trying to reset password but I never get sent a link or sms text message. I called customer service which was a young teen girl who had no idea how to help. She asked me for a security phrase which I do not remember having to put in at setup. I asked her to confirm the email address I was using, as I wasn't getting any responses back. She couldn't do that. Couldn't tell me anything because I didn't have a catch phrase. When I asked how am i going to register my kid...she said, just keep trying...Unbelievable.
Apparently none of my emails work, there's like 2 different login screens and 1 requires email. Can't reset via sms despite collegeboard sending me *1* email only to an account, and then not letting me login with the account they went the email to. The only way to reset it otherwise is to call them.
If your ap scores are old it's a horribly poor process to get them. You have to print out a document and fax it to them with the little confidence that everything is correct because your not getting a receipt and no one's calling to confirm the order was sent or received. And after waiting "3-5 business days" (actually it was almost two weeks) I was sent back a letter saying sorry your scores weren't sent. Neither of the colleges I applied to got the scores and I was almost denied admission from all of them had I not had a degree as proof for a substitute from previous colleges that I had passed an AP test. As if it's not bad enough, transcripts cost about $7 to $12 while proof for AP scores cost $25 every time.
I created an account and when I tried to sign back in with my email and password (which was correct) it said that it was invalid. This was very frustrating and because of this, I can see my PSAT scores. So what is the point of having a site that isn't helpful at all.
College Board is a systematic legal theft, based on well-planned psychological strategies. They are aware of the millions of students, each applying to an average of 20 colleges. As a result, each student must pay an average of $225 (in access of the free four reports), and the fee to expedite the result (because they will delay it attentionally) plus testing costs and the CSS, which is USD 320. So, every student pays an average of USD 700. If you want to expedite results, the cost reaches USD 1000. This amounts to billions of dollars, and they even bribe some universities, mostly state universities, to keep it going.
They withhold results for one to two weeks to force you to pay for expedited delivery, costing USD 30 for each report. The list of complaints goes on, including issues related to banking and the sale of your data to companies offering loans. It is evident who is behind this huge scam. We need to lobby with all universities to put an end to this SAT/ACT nonsense.
The list goes on and on: Random error messages, login never works, redirecting you to a yes or no page, making you change your password for no reason. Just absolutely a horrible site that hasn't been resolved and I don't think it ever will.
I have my exam in 25 days. Whenever I login into my account and go to my ap resources, the stupid website doesn't even load my resources, it just loads their twitter handle plug which is usually above the
Course material. Cant even access the stuff that I am supposed to study from. The damn exam also costs a $#*! ton, so thank you college board, for ruining my parents money!
College board barely knows what they are doing. I recently needed help logging into my account to submit an assignment in my AP class, which is SEPARATE from my AP college board login (for some reason). I tried to call yesterday and they walked me in circles asked me a bunch of information to just throw that out and tell me to do it myself and they don't even have information on them. They told me to get the key to join the class I would have to contact my AP coordinator who told me to call the college board help line in the first place! Basically I walked in circles and got no where to getting my login information. Today I called them and I am currently on hold and have been on hold for 25 minutes. I tried to email them but a response to an email takes 5-7 business days. I don't know how collegeboard can be taken seriously because they are the most unprofessional, useless, and trash organization. If college board is what we use to educate our students then I am scared for the future.
Bro i am not giving this site all my personal info it asked my adress and email login and password also incredibly slow. After I gave it my info it permanitly kicked me from the site! Am I going to get hacked?
My son's SAT was rescheduled from October 1 to October 15 due to hurricane Ian. He showed up for the test along with other students and employees from the testing center but the college board failed to send a proctor so they could not administer the test. As a senior, this was my son's last chance to take the SAT. He wasted time and money on tutors preparing for this test that he could have used to complete college applications. When I called customer service, I got a recording to call back during business hours. However, every time I speak with someone in customer service, they barely speak English and don't know what's going on anyway, beyond the website.
My son has missed college application deadlines for his score report from College Board. He was supposed to receive the scores 3.5 weeks ago. They're telling us different days of when to expect the scores. They take our money but give us no results. This is a sham and a scam. Not acceptable.
Straight idiots. Every time you call them, you're on hold for 30 minutes just to talk to an illiterate person who doesn't speak any English. We have no idea how they curve the tests. You can miss 10 questions and get a 730 on the math section on one test, or if you're like me you miss 6 questions and get a 700. Tell me how that makes any sense. I want to know how the curving works for this specific test, and these idiots don't realize I've called them three times now, and three times they have given me a separate case number saying somebody will fix it. Take your money somewhere else
Answer: Same here. They are incompetent and just want your money. We have been waiting over 3 weeks for the scores, while others have gotten theirs 5 weeks ago.
