The site takes forever to load sometimes, at times not even loading at all. Worst of all, during my AP chinese language and culture exam, we had to take the test on our chromebooks and the site had crashed for nearly an hour straight, leaving all students frustrated and even some losing their progress. The amount of money that this "nonprofit" organization rakes in should be spent on improving these conditions rather than the ceo pocketing all of the earnings. Site logs me off every time I am in the middle of homework which is a huge inconvenience.
We were unable to attend the first date for SAT testing and wanted to transfer to a later date. We paid for the May date and was advised that we would have to cancel the test. Then the agent advised us there will be a $35 fee to cancel. Instead of just changing the testing date we were charged $35.00 cancel fee then another $60.00 to register for June date and $15.00 for agent to process the registration. Terrible company.
They say they are not for profit but every penny you give to them they keep and get to write off taxes by saying they are not for profit
My son is needing to write his SAT's and the Bluebook app doesnt allow him to do the Full Length test. Numerous emails and calls have come to nothing. Everytime I call them I get bounced between various people and they just dont know what they are doing. The case number I was given only shows the first email even though I ensure the case number is in the subject line of each email. This means I have to re-explain everything everytime I call. This organisation have no real tech support and have no idea how to manage their customers. My son writes in 3 days and I dont know what to do.
This is the most poorly designed and unusable website ever. I had two days worth of progress deleted even afer i saved it, then i had to wait an hour to get onto the website, (only to be signed out every 5 minutes), and on top of that i submitted my final, yet only 1 of the 3 parts that come with submitting the final were submitted. Abhorrent website and company.
Last week I called them to put my SAT score in my online account, they said it would take 5-7 business days, which is ridiculous enough, and I checked yesterday, it´s still not in my account. Money grabbing "non-profit" organization.
I tried to call college board to fix my account because I made two by accident and when I called they put me on an infinite loop on the menu and whenever I wouldn't respond it would hang up on me mind you I was on the call for an hour
Im trying to write the written response and it literally DELETED MY PARAGRAPH AND 5 OTHER QUESTIONS I ALREADY ANSWERED. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO REMEMBER WHAT I WROTE. IT TOOK ME SO MANY HOURS. $#*! YOU. IT WOULD NOT SAVE. THE PAGE KEEPS GLITCHING TO THE TOP OF THE SCREEN AND I HAVE TO KEEP SCROLLING DOWN. PLUS IT SAYS NO WHERE IN THE PAGE FOR THE PROGRAM CODE HOW MUCH FILES ARE ALLOWED. IT WON'T LET ME DELETE MY DRAFTS AND WHEN I CONTACTED THE COLLEGE BOARD THEY SAID IT WASN'T THEIR PROBLEM AND THEY CAN'T HELP ME. $#*! YOU
The list goes on and on: Random error messages, login never works, redirecting you to a yes or no page, making you change your password for no reason. Just absolutely a horrible site that hasn't been resolved and I don't think it ever will.
They lost my daughters test scores and have terrible customer service. I've been waiting since December 2022 for the score and we've been calling once a week.
I've never been so confused with how to navigate a website. I spent a whole weekend dealing with their customer service to get a payment figured out for an exam. The company is notorious for their terrible business practices. The site crashes way too much and this website is forced to be the standard for how we do college/ap stuff which is dumb.
This is the 2020 zoom of college admissions when we could just go build a service like discord or teams.
I called multiple times and they said they could not fix my issue. I have had to make several accounts due to this inconvenience. It constantly my name is invalid, they are just terrible.
Have called them to reschedule my daughter's SAT and sat on hold for more than 1/2 hour... finally get through to someone and they cannot refund my money. Customer service took over 30 minutes to confirm this... waste of time and money!
I was told they couldn't give me my sons PSAT score because it's saying he choose other as a gender. I can clearly see on my sons personal information site it says MALE. Customer service rep. Told nothing could be done until I email them proof of his gender. HORRIBLE!
I've been trying to sign in to see my scores, but whenever I sign in it doesn't do anything. I've signed in about 10 times and still nothing. This has been an ongoing issue for about 3 months.
Absolutely sucks. Why is it even a thing? It's absolute trash. Think about it…. Have you ever seen a person who enjoys and likes college board? No right? Theres your prove.
I registered late for a test, which came with an extra charge. When something came up and I had to cancel the test, I was informed only after I had confirmed my cancellation that the late fee is non-refundable. This information is nowhere on their site. That, along with their cancellation fee, means I received a $25 refund for a $90 purchase.
These people are everything that is wrong with the higher education industry.
I called college board on 11/22/2022 and talked to an agent who walked me through ordering my scores. He had me to put in an eligibility code of 9999. This sent my scores to the wrong place. I called back and the person i spoke to said that they put in a ticket to be escalated and they would send my scores to the correct place which is Trenholm. She said that someone from college board would contact me within 2 days. I heard from no one. I called my school and they still did not have the scores. I Called back and spoke to another agent who assured me she was sending the scores, I called back and was provided a batch ID. I spoke to my school and they are not able to locate scores with a batch ID. I placed another order for scores and paid extra for them to be expedited on 11/10/2022. My school still does have have the scores as of 12/02/2022. I've spoken to 5 agents since then and i've been given 3 different case numbers that are supposedly escalated. Every time i speak to an agent there'sa different story. One agent told me that my school can locate my the batch ID because scores are sent electronically. Another agent told me because my scores are archived that they have to be mailed. I've asked all of these agents the address that they supposedly mailed my scores and no one has an answer. All i ever leave a phone call with is a case number. I've paid over $100 at this point and still no scores. The first transaction was supposed to be refunded but the funds have not been received. I asked if the scores could just be sent to my home so I know what address they were coming to and they asked for another $43. Why on earth would i keep paying for something that i'm not receiving. I'm at risk of not graduating my program if i do not have my scores by the end of this month. This is literally affecting my future and no one cares!
The layout is god awful. Nothing is in a place that makes sense and nothing is intuitive to find, it is truly one of the worst layed-out websites I have ever had the great misfortune of being forced to use. The coding of the website must be millions of lines of spaghetti code written in Scratch by an inebriated, arthritic monkey given how it performs; it's slow and constantly gets stuck in infinite loading screens. The website attempts to have videos you can watch, but they freeze constantly and play in 360p no matter how fast your internet is. The tests are a buggy, slow mess. I have had multiple points where a question has not loaded correctly, just showing a blank page with the answers or the message "Math Processing Error". The fact they are moving the SAT permanently, fully online tells me they want people to do worse to incentivize them to take it again.
Overall, it epitomizes college board as a whole: a bloated, tax-exempt cash grab scamming children out of money. I truly believe that every member of College Board (who pay themselves exorbitant salaries using the money they steal from the children of America, tax free thanks to their completely absurd status as a nonprofit) is a despicable, vile ghoul and a disappointment to the human species. Each and every one of them should be deeply ashamed of themselves.
The amount of money one has to spend in order, to take an SAT, cancel an SAT registration, send an SAT score, see what questions you got wrong and everything else. This is completely ridiculous.
Answer: Same here. They are incompetent and just want your money. We have been waiting over 3 weeks for the scores, while others have gotten theirs 5 weeks ago.
