Every time I need to use the CollegeBoard for something, I have to Re-confirm my email and create a brand-new username and password. As of currently, I've been needing to get into CollegeBoard so that I can take a college Placement test. I need (of course) to change my password and it asks me to send it my email. I did so, and guess what? :) It can't remember it. It better get its act together because it has to help millions of other college students.
The website works, but good luck signing up for the sat. It worked in march/early April, but now you can't even get to the part where you submit your information. I have tried multiple different links and at different times, but it refuses to work.
Tried many many times and each time it told me something else was wrong else was wrong like my name or something.
Updated my account and now i get a thousand redirects. I was basically given no other option but to click on this update account redirect, did that and now its a pain to access my account. > :(
Genuinely why is this site such garbage? You'd think a borderline monopoly like College Board would be able to allocate some money to making a functioning website (you know, with a decent layout and a login process that doesn't take a good 10 minutes, to name a few aspects... oh, and the constant lag that isn't the fault of my devices)... apparently not...
I went through and still am going through an absolutely horrendous ordeal with CollegeBoard. I accidentally placed the wrong birthday on my account and they keep saying "We will send it up to the escalation team" "It is placed as highest priority" "Give us 5-7 business days" "Give us 2-3 Buisness days". It's been three weeks. My exam is two weeks away and everytime I call them this is the only thing they can say. I'm absolutely horrified.
As someone who is passionate about their education, I attempted to review, take notes on, and watch all 8 hours of their AP Calculus Exam Review. The issue with this, is that their review is not only unhelpful as it doesn't explain why specific answers work, but is also a waste of time as the "hosts" spend a good portion of the time talking and not teaching. I am disappointed in the quality of College Board's website and their inability to successfully fulfill their mission of "to connect students to college success and opportunity" as College Board has hindered my ability to be successful in class and in college more than help due to my frustrations with logins, exam reviews, and exams, not give me more opportunities to be successful. College Board is a waste of my time.
I have my exam in 25 days. Whenever I login into my account and go to my ap resources, the stupid website doesn't even load my resources, it just loads their twitter handle plug which is usually above the
Course material. Cant even access the stuff that I am supposed to study from. The damn exam also costs a $#*! ton, so thank you college board, for ruining my parents money!
Literally just trying to log in is the worst struggle of my life for no reason, I've been trying to log in for an hour. Makes me want to drop my AP class.
Holy $#*! this is the worst website i have ever visitied, keeps telling me that my account "migrated to a new system" and gives me a new link to sign in, then after signing in through the new link, takes me back to the old link that refuses to let me sign in, telling me the same thing that my account "migrated to a new system" if i could give it 0 stars i would
If i could give it zero stars I would, the whole website is broken takes me at least 5 minutes to sign in due to it constantly lagging out and clipping also constantly logs you out. Overall terrible, its funny since they literally have computer science courses how about getting the students you overcharge to fix your website.
Collegeboard overall is just awful. I can't find anything on the site and it's not very intuitive. The layout is a mess, it's cluttered, and there are all these random buttons and links; it just doesn't look good. It's like a whole hunt and peck game except it's not a very fun game. Whenever I log on, it always says there's an error and tells me to keep trying. Like how many times should it take to log in? Or it repeatedly makes me log in to confirm my identity. Please who else would want to get on my account and log into this awful site. It'll randomly freeze on pages as I'm doing my AP questions and it will give me an error and make me log in all over again. The AP questions themselves take forever to load especially on this ancient Chromebook my school has so thoughtfully provided. It might take me an hour to do some AP questions and ten of those minutes are spent waiting for the page to load. Don't get me started on the AP Classroom tests. Those things take an even longer time to load. You want to go back to a question? Sorry, you'll be waiting a few minutes for the dumb question to appear. Also, the maintenance times are so poorly laid out. Why on earth do they fix their site during the school day? I kinda need it during my AP classes. Or they'll shut it down during the night on a week day and I'll be waiting till 7 am to finish my questions that are due in an hour. Their only excuse is "We posted our maintenance times on our Twitter." No one checks College Board's Twitter account okay Bob. Also, it'll randomly go down sometimes and my poor teacher's lesson plan is in ruins cause College Board doesn't have their stuff together. I pay 90 dollars a test for this joke of a site and they even claim to be a "nonprofit". The least they could do is make a functioning site with all that profit they're making. As my wise friend once said, "It's like monkeys in the jungle made it" and boy was he speaking facts. Below is a beautiful error message I get whenever I attempt to log in on the first try.
I have never had a good experience with this website. Service is AWFUL. Calling their helpline gives you nothing. They don't care about test prep or helping students. They care about money. Id give it a zero if i could.
I took my SATs and AP courses, etc about 20 years ago but decided to go back to college. I could not locate my scores after setting up an account with college board. Called the number I was directed to call and was on the phone for over 30 minutes only to be told that my scores had been lost and that I could pay a fee for them to try to locate them, but there was no guarantee that they would find them. WOW!
The website is slow, buggy, and it won't let you into your profile- it makes you verify that you're you by having you retype your password multilpe times. When you do get in, it's hard to navigate. If this is a layer of security based on frustrating people trying to hack into it, it works, but it makes the site pretty much unusable. I've tried to get into my profile to submit my computer science test multiple times on two different days, and so far, it still isn't working- and it isn't just me, it's my whole class and the teacher. Please fix this, it's frustrating and we need to get our projects turned in.
Wasted 3 hours on the phone with 3 reps. Two of them were not helpful beyond comprehension, and the last one was very rude. Their website doesn't even show the correct data for testing (showing march 11 rather than 12th), and they ask you to try four different browsers and clear cookies.
Terrible customer support. Company only wants money from students. Avoid it. Wanted archived scores, and it took over a month to receive them. Was told it would only be 15 days. (Why are MY own scores archived? So CollegeBoard can make more money of course!) Customer service couldn't give me one actual answer to my questions, and talked over me rather than listen to the problem. Despicable company.
Collegeboard is a horrible website for learning. Not only do they propose irrational, sky-high prices for standardized test scores, their poor website design and structure makes it extremely difficult to navigate when finding course assignments. The website also crashes very frequently, and I've been either kicked out of assignments or been unable to enter certain pages for hours (or even days). This is unfortunate when near the assignment deadline: whether it is for reviewing or completion purposes, the malfunctioning hinders learning when the entire purpose of the website is to "promote college-readiness." There is rare praise that Collegeboard helps in finding testing centers easily, but this also seems to depend on chance: sometimes Collegeboard will provide genuine help, sometimes Collegeboard will leave you on hold for hours. This is the worst platform we could use, one star seems very generous.
I (a parent) received an email from College Board instructing me to create an account to view my son's (a minor child) PSAT results. However, the system will not allow me to create an account because he has already created an account using his email that also lists my email as the parent. I contacted customer service three times to try to get an account created for myself. The agents were difficult to understand, did not understand my issue, though I repeated it multiple times, and kept transferring me back and forth instead of resolving the problem. The agents would not let me reset the password and only offered to send an email to my son to reset the password. They further said I would have to create a new email address to get access to the account he created because for some reason they cannot use my email. Thirty minutes later I am frustrated and confused as to why I received an email instructing me to create an account but then was told I could not create an account. This is a mess. Why does a minor child have sole access to this account? That does not seem like it would be legal.
I requested my scores to be sent to a college for my graduate application, and I even paid an extra $30+ for rush order which was supposed to be sent in 2-4 business days. It has now been over a month and the university has not received anything from them. I have called on about 6 or 7 different occasions throughout this time frame and can't get any answers from customer service. They have told me that they send it to the Escalation Department and that they write a follow-up and that I will receive an email and I never do. I have now missed my application deadline and they have costed me a full semester of college. I wish I could rate them less than 1 star.
Answer: Same here. They are incompetent and just want your money. We have been waiting over 3 weeks for the scores, while others have gotten theirs 5 weeks ago.
