Coinbase has gone from bad to worse. You can't open a proper support case, there's no phone contact, and the only way to reach them is through chat—which offers little help. My account has been restricted for the past two years without any resolution. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, I'm met with the same generic responses and no progress. This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I wouldn't recommend Coinbase to anyone looking for reliable customer service

My account was compromised weeks ago, and I have been struggling with ineffective support via email. Phone support is unavailable, and the chat is just a basic bot. Despite repeatedly informing them that their suggested solutions don't work, they continue to provide unhelpful responses, making me question if they're even human. When my wallet was compromised, they did little to help me recover the money that was in there. It took long to even get a customer representative that listened to me. Only Dctline [com] was able to resolve my case.

I thought coinbase was legit, but they took $7,785 and ran. It's been weeks with no communication. Their customer service is a joke. I'm beyond frustrated and feel so cheated. Avoid this site at all costs if you don't want to lose your money.

After over 15 years I am leaving Coinbase due to their "system" holding all of my deposits for 7 days. I have never had a bad deposit, use the same bank, same account and now I have all deposits held. Support is a joke and takes hours to get a live person. Support is useless as they copy as paste reply's from the website. Takes them 3-4 minutes to reply to every question I have. The oldest scam in the book, use customers deposits to make money their funds are on hold. Support has no answer as to why the "system" flags every deposit I make as a risk.

The only thing I use Coinbase for is to deposit and transfer crypto between exchanges and I cash it out on Coinbase for fiat to bank account. Other than that avoid purchasing and converting crypto on their platform as they will stiff you very bad. Trust me I found out the hard way when I entered the CRYPTO realm. Ask yourself this question? How do you think they amassed a $300 billion Empire? In what manner was that money derived or obtained? Well I'm sure most people get the picture.

Closed ability to send after doing 2 small transactions. Then locked account- spent 4 days verifying account and resetting password while CB promised that would work. Every time I get a message that it's verified- it's still locked. Support is very bad and is like a robot saying the same thing - which does not work. After opening a complaint they close it immediately saying that I have an open support case. YES which you don't solve. I suggest all to use a different platform.

Invested $50,000 in Coinbase. Initially, encountered very polite and skilled specialists. However, the big 'But' is crucial – they turned out to be scams! Don't expect to receive any of the advertised incentives for signing up or ID verification, user agreement fine print states they can not credit the incentives to you (even after email verification that you will receive it) without any notice as to why. Every attempt to contact customer service is just responded to with a computer generated response that does not help resolve any issues you have. Functions of a crypto exchange work fine but poor customer service results in only 3star rating from me.

It is a very simple and easy to use platform for buying, converting and transferring some crypto currencies. I personally never had a problem using coinbase but I have heard of people saying they did. Too me it's one of the more trustworthy platforms.

It might not be as secure as I would like which is why I really don't use it a lot anymore but it does work and is really easy. I will sometimes still buy on there and then transfer to another wallet that allows a hardware wallet to be used.

I've noticed some changes to fees and the cost of crypto. First what they're good at: money is credited quickly, they have a earn and learn promo that allows you to try new crypto for free, and they have a decent rep. Lately though when I go to buy or sell my crypto I've noticed that the price isn't what is shown on their website. So, say I wanted to sell my crypto for $2 a share I go to sell it: the fee is $2.99 plus they only give me 1.96 per share. That means I lost. 04 cents a share. Granted you could say well the price changed while I went to sell it... okay here's the thing; they lock in the price at the time of your sale. This has happened several times so this isn't a one-off. Yesterday I pulled all of my crypto out. I think for awhile I am going to give crypto a rest.
