I recently booked my tkt from Nagpur to New Delhi through Cleartrip and paid for my food and seat along with the ticket. But when i tried to web check in. To my dispay, i found my seat was not pre booked and the airline asked me to paid the amount again.
So, i called up customer care for my pre booked seat, so she(SALONI) after dilydallying again allocated me the seat and did the web check in on my behalf. But even then, did not add the pre booked meal and my boarding pass was generated with it. So, the airlines didnt offer me the food i booked and prepaid for it.
On the other hand, it was a cause of embarrassment for me amongst other fellow travelers. Even after mailing it to cleartrip and also calling the customer care. Nothing has happened as yet.
So, i suggest all future travellers to avoid cleartrip and try other websites.

I only visited their site some weeks ago, today I found out they tried to deduct $NZ2827-00 from my Credit Card! I dont know how they got my Credit Card Number - I have used it to pay for flights on a different website - but STAY AWAY from Cleartrip.com! My Bank already had them on their fraud alert list so blocked the transaction! Lucky for me.
I don't recommend anybody to use cleartrips service not even on my enemy, they lied over the phone saying I would be refunded in no less then one day, I then call after 5 days and one of their rude consultants say you will get your techno in 4" days, again now they are saying you will get your money in 0 days, I mean just send it already wtf is zero days service is appualing
My flight was cancelled by airline due to Covid in March. In June, i cancelled the ticket on their website, but did not receive any confirmation of cancellation and the amount to be refunded. I have been following up with cleartrip since and not even received confirmation of cancellation. Shakir shaikh from cleartrip says that the airline will refund money after expiry of the ticket. It does not make sense that the airline will wait for the return of money till the expiration of the ticket for a flight that they have cancelled. I believe that the airline has already refunded money to Cleartrip and they are not making customer payment.

The contact number is always out of service, even if you are lucky and the number is worming you spend a quite good time until someone pick up your phone.
Refund process is so annoying and it can take up to 1 month... I don't know what are they doing with our money this long period of time.
My flight was cancelled from airline in March 24 2019 and today it is April 22nd and still my money is with Cleartip!
Don't take tickets through this cleartrip. Better you can choose any nearest travel agent. Because if you want to cancel the ticket they not give any refund, I took a ticket aed1180 refund amount. If am cancel that they are told only 65 aed give me back. This is the trusted travell partner treated to me
As per govt. Guideline all ticket should be refundable where flight got cancelled during lockdown between march to june 2020. But Cleartrip had not yet refunded my fund yet. I am chasing since july but always getting same automailer and this is nonsense. I checked with AirIndia also and they said they had refunded to cleartrip. But cleartrip not yet refunded us back.
Extremely disappointed with Cleartrip. First they are not providing voice support for flight cancelation issues eventhough flight being canceled by airlines. Moreover, they are not respecting credit shell utilization request to rebook ticket with clear details being sent over email.
I have sent my itinerary 4 times requesting to book tickets utilizing credit shell, but till now they have not booked tickets and flight fare continues to increase with each passing day.

My flight was cancelled due to COVID-19. On contacting the airlines(Airasia) iu was told that my ticket amount has been refunded within a week and i have to contact my travel agency i. E cleartrip. Despite of my reperated effortrs no assistance has been provided by the cleartrip regarding the refund and the refund amount has not been credited even after 2 months.
I have booked ticket later cancelled due to personal emergency. Airline have returned the money, but clear trip is holding it since last 3-months. They are not responding at all.
No body is ready to talk on refund. Never use this site to book any ticket in the case of cancellation they are not responding
I booked a ticket and cancelled due to covid pandemic and lockdown last year March 2020 till today Trip 1D **************. They've tried to fake up with responses and just make me upset. I want my refund immefiately before end of this 2nd week of November 2021. Am tired of following up on same issue and you keep playing about it. I VISITED THE AIRLINE BRANCH HERE IN ABU DHABI THEY SAID ITS FULL REFUND FROM THEIR SIDE. I FOLLOW MANY TIMES IN CLEAR TRIP OFFICE IN DUBAI, THE AGENT ANSWERED AND COMPLAINT REGARDING FOR THE COMPUTATION OF MY REFUND. FEW DAYS LATER, I FOLLOW UP BUT NO PHONE ANSWER "ONLY ANSWERING MACHINE AND EVEN EMAILS. PLEASE DON'T BOOK IN THIS AGENCY "CLEARTRIP".

I have not got refund of my international ticket cancelled in March 2020, before lockdown. More than 3 months now and I have not got the money back yet. I looked up and found they have this track records for years now. This company is founded by a brit name Stuart Crighton. I have been writing to him as well as their head of customer service Nikhil Godbole since March 2020. However there is no result. British folks have the habit of robbing India and the world and it continues. Shame on you Stuart Crighton, sitting on my hard earned money. Wish your company close down and you get COVID19 & suffer.
I booked a round trip flight with cleartrip. When I noticed that I booked wrong dates by mistake I called them same day itself for amendment. The call centre executive pointed out that it will be less costlier for me if I cancel and make a fresh booking than amending the date. Since I could not do it from my mobile app she convinced that it may be a technical glitch and she agreed to do it from their end and offered me to expect refund in 5 to 7 working days. Since then I have been calling them regarding the matter over the past 6 weeks but always with the same response as sorry, will escalate to higher management, top priority, will call back in 48 hours etc etc. If we ask for high management number they give other number which ends up in the same call centre. Sometimes they give us our complaint number to trace later which nobody can if we call again. I asked for their local office location in Dubai for me to make a personal visit which was denied as well. They give false assurances that it will be resolved in 48 hours but nobody cam be accounted for when we call again. Please use their site if you prefer not to loose money and dignity.
Sir sorry to inform you that I'm getting the most worst service from customer care, they all putting me on hold and after that they just cut the call, and customer care making fool me that they ate working on my case they will gonna call back me in an hour but not single call I'm getting from anyone, please suggest me something who can help me to solve my problem,

They are a disgrace, I am still waiting for a refund for a cancelled flight since the 18th March, first of all I was told to wait 30 days, then 60 days, then 60 WORKING days, that has passed and all I get is a generic email to say you are working on it. Do not book with these thieves. I doubt I will ever see the refund at this rate.

Answer: I'll keep it brief. We booked a ticket in August (India to Canada using Air France) this was before the air bubble restrictions were launched both on the website and in public knowledge. On the day of my Air France flight, Air France called me to tell me because of the airline restrictions I can't board the plane, the ticket was 1.83 lakhs for one way. We called Cleartrip right away to see what can be done about this - well firstly they've removed the option to call them so you're forced to email. They called us back and said we should hear back about a refund in two weeks. In two weeks nothing. As I mentioned that was August, it is now DECEMBER and we have had endless emails and calls with Cleartrip with no resolve. You'd think those emails would be something productive - but no! They are AUTOMATED emails, again and again. Every time someone calls me its a different person from their team who has no context about my use case and then says oh give us 72 hours to get back to you and then someone else calls me! And now they're saying because it's after the day of the flight that they can't guarantee the refund amount - have you heard of anyone cancelling a 1.83 lakh flight with NO GUARANTEE of the refund?! What if I get 100 rs back? Am I supposed to be okay with it? The biggest joke is that I called Air France directly and told them about this situation and they said in this circumstance we would have offered a full refund. The offered to convert my ticket into a voucher I could use till the end of 2022 with any of their airlines and had no idea why Cleartrip was saying they need to speak to them and happily left a remark on my ticket recommending a full refund. You thought that would help? Wrong. Since that remark, Cleartrip has now continued another three weeks of ridiculous automated emails with absolutely no indication of this remark or anything else helpful frankly. I'm very very sorry for you if you have to ever interact with Cleartrip support for anything. If you're booking a risky flight, be sure this is the wrong place for any kind of help.

Answer: Impossible. None of the contacts provided in the companies website are working. Customer service portal doesnot work. Only the refund related calls don't go through. All other dial options work. This looks like a complete fraud, which needs to be reported to the authority, which I will do if i do not get a response.
