So I got my ear pierced for my birthday a few months back almost a year and when I went to go get the air pierced, we asked what the safest metal is because I am allergic to certain metals they told us it's like a silver metal I forget which one but like it's pretty it was pretty expensive And after picking which one I want, they went to pierce my ear. They did not pierce in the correct spot. They showed me they used the piercing gun, which is not recommended for professional piercings because it causes trauma to the ear, and then when they were finished The employees there told me to make sure to rotate the earring. Now and again I didn't research beforehand, so I did what they said looking at it now I did my research because for some reason I could not make the earring go back in even though I just took it out for a few minutes to clean, and turns out you're not supposed to rotate the earring because it agitates the healing skin, which makes it scar and heal slower. There's also the fact that good earrings or any piercing will not allow the skin to stick to it as the skin will heal around it won't heal. You know like through it and be stuck. Overall do research. I mean the people there were pretty nice but they just it was not that good of a place I probably could've gotten it better somewhere else for cheaper.

This is my daughters ears after 1 and a half days of using Claire's rapid healing solution. Her doctor says she is having a reaction to the solution itself and not the piercings.

Cheap merchandise and lazy customer service. I ordered hair clips online and one broke right away when received. I called customer service to get a replacement. I was told to call nearby stores and to purchase again. I called 2 stores near me and no luck. The closest store that had a replacement was close to an hour away from me so I had to pay for shipping again. I was even told on the phone to drive there and pick it up so i dont have to pay for shipping. Drive nearly an hour, wasting gas to pick up cheap hair clips lol. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Usually online customer service representatives find a replacement product and ship to customer for free. I am totally done with this store. Will gladly spend my money elsewhere.

They kept changing the prices for the same earing like they think im an idiot, and kept changing the requirements for me to get a piercing. Manager is a straight up b!tch. Only a single helpful person in the store and the rest of the employees are like mindless minions. Wouldnt recommend at all. Dont waste your money and time. Guess the universe is telling me not to shop there and I hope no one else does so too. Saw the other reviews and when i tell you i should have come here 1st and ive wasted 2 hours of my life in a Claires store. They also dont care about these reviews seeing as their stores are still sh!tty.

I got my ears pierced here and it was infected in a $#*!ING WEEK. Nobody should go here for getting your ears pierced because they don't do it correctly at ALL.

DO NOT SHOP AT CLAIRE'S

0 stars. I returned product to the store 5782 I purchased it from and they charged me again. I went back to the store but they weren't able to help because then their inventory would be off... shouldn't it already be off? So I was charged twice for product I don't own. The store gave me a customer service number to call and I have been working with them for over a month with no full refund yet. The manager won't speak with me and the accounting team said they refunded me but I have yet to receive the money. DO NOT SHOP HERE

My I went in to get my daughters piercing and ask one of the employees if I picked the right spot she told me she couldn't give me her advice that I'd have to listen to the other employee who was piercing her ears and in the middle of holding my daughter while she was getting her ear pierced the employee comes walking back to me saying that she didn't like my attitude that I was a b**** and then called security on me I didn't really respond to her right away then when I was paying I asked her for the corporate number she gave me the wrong number mind you when security got there she told him everything was fine and that he could leave I called corporate and spoke to the district manager and to be honest she really didn't care I would never recommend this store and on top of that I paid almost 200 over priced and terrible customer service

Wow, $136.00 to get ears pierced! Ear piercing is free, but you must buy $136.00 special hypo allergenic earrings with a diamond. No studs, posts, etc. Will be the last time we shop there.

Went to Claire's at the Macon mall at 2pm Sunday 2/26/23 upon entering the store I heard everyone saying Where is the person working here? I waited five minutes and still no one could be found,finally the store was quite busy and a customer went and knocked on a back door,a young black woman with long braids opened the door and said they were looking for some earrings.Now why both were in the back looking while the store was left unattended I don't know.Buy then after a few minutes more, two ladies came out and I asked if I could get my ears pierced using my own diamond studs and she said No but I could purchase some different diamond studs from them and they would put them in.I asked why would I do that if I already have diamond studs so the manager (who said her name was R.E but I doubt that),she started saying she knew about her business and just mumbling out loud so I asked her name.My earrings were studs and real why would it have made a difference,I even told them ide buy a pair of theirs but I wanted mine put in but they wouldn't.Managers attitude was bad and mumbling was rude,no more Claire's for me.

ASM General Review

This review is more about a Manger aspect of the business as customer service on my behalf was awesome! There is absolutely no room for growth even if given the opportunity. I was given a ASM position only to constantly ask to be trained for this position. I started training on my own before so (by looking through books and completing financial figures). They are looking for someone to make money ONLY. They will only keep the same people on board and run everyone else off especially if you constantly show improvement. Your best luck is to keep great customer service you may need that in the long run. Just take pictures, notes, screenshots, and everything absolutely everything that will help you at the end. For I was deliberately lied on discriminated and humiliated before being terminated PUBLICLY!

So basically I walked into Claire's with my mom 2 hours before they were supposed to close. As soon as we walked in, the employee said she had no coverage and that the store was closing early. Me and my mom didn't have any notice about this, and if she had something important to do I completely understand, but she was kinda rude about it. I had been waiting all day to buy a friendship necklace for me and my friend. Good store, but employees are sometimes rude.

Omg! This is a new store in Huntington Beach 5 points I camped twice they hung up on me and then I finally got through to a girl why responded to my questions with "hmmm, uh huh mmm"
Wow I was going to make an appointment to get my ears pierced but I was so turned off my the person who answered the phone forget it

Ok, the store is way overpriced for it to be a kid's store little, things are like $20, and some little bags are $40 $50 my thing is why are there so many things in that store, and two people at the store they have no customers and like I said to me it is a kids store why is it so overpriced I was just there and I saw this little old bag for $50 the bag I was going to get is down at the bottom and that's all I have to say. Don't shop at claire's ever!.

I don't like this store

I had my second ear piercing done and it healed up when I had my earrings in they are always bleeding and wound go through. Thanks because now I have to let them heal up. I will never come here again.

Claires corporate needs to visit this store!

This store at Southgate mall In Missoula Montana is a neat clean store but they are rude to me and others. They sit on their phones and ignore customers.
I don't like the way the miss lead me with the buy 3 get 3 no one told me how it works and when I asked she wa rude. I won't shop at this store again.

Could be better...

I go to my local Claires to shop and look around at anything that catches my eyes. But, one day when I went with my cousins I wanted to get my ears pierced. They all had their ears pierced except for the youngest one. I got my ears pierced the first time and everything was ok for a couple of months. But it started getting infected and crusty and gooey. It was overall gross, I took them out for about a year and then got them pierced again with my little cousin thinking I just did it wrong the last time. Nope! They got infected again. Don't get your ears pierced here go to a tattoo/piercing shop please!

I was told if I spent a certain amount I would receive 10$ back in rewards to my account. It was even posted in the store...then I only received 5$...Customer service wasn't great and they gave false information about products and the cashier was very pushy about me donating money and when I said no she said how about your change...my husband also experience d this at two other clairs...this must be a company policy! So unprofessional and aggressive. Poor customer service. Also two of the items my daughter bought broke the next day...clairs has really gone down hill...sad because I loved this store as a kid and was excited to experience it with my daughter and it was very disappointing.

I got my nose piercing there, and asides being more painful than getting it done with professional piercers, they told me my piercing didn't need a clip. It kept coming out and I had to get it repierced 3 times until i went to a professional piercer. Worst piercing i've had.
