Showed item in stock than after purchasing the item I received an e-mail two days later out of stock. Four days after e-mailing them about updating there out of stock item it still shows the item to be in stock. I will never order from them no matter how good of a deal it seems to be.
I would have order this books from the online Giant, believe it or not they didn't carry it. It takes forever to receive your purchase. ONLY----- if you don't mind waiting and waiting and waiting-- order from here! I would liken it to a slow boat from china, I'm NOT kidding!
I ordered this for my 7yr old grandaughters birthday. It is so cute! Made very well, makes "ka ching " noise when opening drawer, comes with money and play credit card to swipe. She will love it to play "store"... added bonus is it will help with her adding numbers and subtracting numbers. It deserves 5 stars, but, i gave 4 stars because it was back ordered and took a month to come in
I had just gotten married and the recession was in full bloom, as broke as we were we needed a very important book so we ordered it, it was around $60, they never responded to us and when we contacted them they said the book was out of stock, then when we ask for our money back, they replied saying that their company is in crisis so they need every help they could get and that they will keep our money as a donation to keep the business running. That made us really sad to see such dishonnest people, I could not believe it. We fought to get our money back but no one could help us do that so we took the loss.
I ordered a new bible (and a couple other things) online from them over a week ago. (Close to two weeks now) after the first 4 Days I emailed them to see why my package hadnt been shipped. The money for the item I bought was taken out of my bank account already afterall. (I am used to most companies online not taking the money till the package has actually shipped) anyways. I didn't hear anything back from them. So I messaged again several days later. Still no reply. I will never order anything online from them again. Customer service is crap and I feel like I got screwed out of $40 plus the FAST shipping I paid extra for!
I ordered a bible from them more than 3 months ago. Since then I have been spammed with catalogs in my mailbox, and daily emails trying to sell me more stuff. Today I received an email telling me the item is no longer made, so they can't sell it to me. Yesterday I got a catalog in the mail with the bible they say is not available listed in it. I will not be ordering anything from them again. I would give them zero stars if that was possible.
Be careful shopping in this site. You may unwittingly get enrolled in a rewards program that will charge you 14.95 a month. In my opinion, this is a total scam. Buyer Beware!
They took the initial money out for the Bible I ordered and took the money out again a week later and they refused to refund the money and say it's my Banks fault when my bank says it's up to them to give me back my money not the bank. I don't recommend ordering from them they like to take money and pretend to be Christian and rip people off all in God's name they're pathetic and disgusting a poor excuse for a website
We order a couple hundred dollars from this company a year. I can promise we will never order from here again. We placed an order in November, it was shipped in two boxes. One box arrived the other box never did. I called the company to ask about my package they offered no help. They said wait a couple more days it will eventually get there. I had already waited a week. All that I wanted them to do was call UPS. They said they couldn't do that that they wouldn't know where it was either. So I called ups myself. Hey did give me a refund but I had to order it from somewhere else and it will not arrive in time for Christmas. They did offer me one time free shipping for my in convince but they were already offering free shipping that day. Really disappointed, doesn't seem very Christian like employees! Beware if you have to deal with customer service!
It is and has been very good site! I have ordered a lot of Bibles from them and a few other things and have always been happy! It would be great to have them open store, but, I am glad to visit and order from them!
I put a wallet for $13.99 in the cue and started the payment process. At checkout, a $5.99 handling fee, plus shipping showed up. Who charges a handling fee, and for almost half the cost of the item? I cancelled the order.
I received the Math 6 book and the pages were not cut properly some of the pages were still stuck together and had to be cut open to see the pages. The pages that were uneven had been folded in so it appeared to be normal before you opened the book. Very disappointed in the quality of the product.

Shipping was on time and not too costly except it was for something that is worthless as an actual bingo chip. I rate this as a one star which is generous but there was not a quarter of a star which represents the quarter size of a chip sent as a bingo chip.
On April 2, I placed an order with Christianbook.com over the phone. The lady was very friendly and professional, making sure I got the lowest price on each book. She said my order would arrive within one to two weeks, as it was coming from MA to CA, via FedEx, and would come in one box. I tracked it daily on my FedEx App, and it came today on Sunday, April 11. The driver ran up to my door with a big smile, handing me the box and wishing me a good day. The box was sturdy and attractive, with the Christianbook.com logo on it. It was properly packed so the books wouldn't shift around, and the new books were in perfect condition. Other than the time it took to ship my order, I would rate Christianbook.com with five stars and would feel comfortable ordering from them again.
I bought their Pewter Comfort Angel Chimes as a gift 10 days ago and I still haven't received them but was charged upon placing the order. I checked on the status last week and it wasn't sent. I just checked on the order status and again, still not sent. I called to follow up with their customer service only to find out that it was on back order until August 4th. It's a good thing that I called. Because of this, I've missed out on the appropriate window of time to give this gift to a friend who's mother passed. So disappointed that I wasn't given the heads up when I ordered it or when they found out it wasn't in stock. They're still selling it without stating that it's out of stock.

I had to start homeschooling unexpectedly. My daughter's school didn't offer any remote learning. I ordered an entire ACE curriculum at the beginning of October. A lot of my order came through Fedex and I got it quickly. Then they decided during the holidays to ship my remaining order through usps... which has been in the land of usps for almost 2 weeks with zero update. So now my daughter is way behind in a subject. I don't understand why they wouldn't use common sense and send through Fedex again. Why choose the most backed up carrier around Christmas/Covid time? Especially after they assured me they would be using Fedex for everything due to this. With the amount I paid I am not very satisfied.
