Paid $4.99 for a person review. Review was old news and misinformation.
Wrote CheckPeople immediately and said they would refund. But they did not. Not only did they not refund the $4.99 but they charged me $6.99 to download the terrible report in PDF format. I did not authorize that charge. Why would I want PDF of bad information. When I called, they said they have no way of crediting the charges. CheckPeople must really be hurting to argue of $6.99, DO NOT USE! BAD COMPANY, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
So i bought the reports for supposedly $1. Yea nope! Turns out they took $36.15 from me! Don't even waste ya time! Trust and believe i will be getting my refund! STAY AWAY
I have heard of people creating there own reviews to make themselves look good so they can scam you out of money. I guess at least I didn't lose money like the ones who said they got charged extra and got told they won't refund there money. There was no service. At all! If you're someone who does a lot of back ground checks then this site is totally for you. Unbelievably detailed and you're never left wondering if there's any missing information from your search, you've got everything you need! I would highly recommend to all!

My husband and I used this site to check out his fathers very shady past. We were nervous at first, and during!, because our credit card company gave us an alert asking if it was us... meaning its a flagged site by credit card companies. When we finished looking through the information, I sat down with the phone and prepared myself to wait on hold for 7 hours and finally battle out a cancellation with someone in another country. I went into complete shock when a total sweetheart answered with her thick southern accent and quickly helped me cancel my account in less than 5 minutes. At this time I am not sure if my account was charged extra fees or not, but so far everything seems okay! I will update my review if my credit card ends up getting hacked/scammed!

They "say" your FIRST lookup is "free." NOT! Then they "say" for $1 you can search for 3 days. NOT! When you go to their website they say for $4.99 you can search for 5 days. NOT! They will ALSO bill your card $2.33. I called and discontinued service. They tried to sell me a membership but I declined. I even got a cancellation confirmation number. The NEXT day they ALSO charged me $2.33. I called AGAIN and they LIED, saying I had accepted a membership, and that there's no way to reverse the charges. Oh yeah? It's called BANK FRAUD. Contact your bank's fraud dept., and THEY will reverse charges. Look up these charlatans on trustpilot too. They are KNOWN con artists!
Some people complain about having to pay for services like this but I really don't understand why because you're getting really useful, accurate information. You can't get these details for free and it's totally worth the cost in my opinion.
