Was on the phone with the call agent to discuss my subscription. The agent was friendly and assisted me the whole time with my questions.

The website said I had 10 minutes (with the clock counting down) to use coupon to view the full background check for only $1 after I'd just spent 5 minutes waiting for it to load. So I scrolled up and down to try to see the fine print or the catch and/or terms. I didn't see anything. So I assumed it was probably for the first month only, so I'd do just make sure I cancelled it before it renewed at full price. So I pressed okay and gave my card info. I was instantly charged $29.17 and then when I looked at the PDF to view the actual report I wanted to see, it charged me another $6.99. I called a few days later when I got a chance to cancel the account (because you can't just cancel online, you have to call and sit on hold for 10 minutes to be able to cancel the subscription) and was told that it clearly told me I had 3 days to cancel it or I'd be charged the full amount and then was told if I wanted to view the PDF of the report I had to pay for that convenience also, because I could've just gone to the courthouse and got that information if I wanted to.
I just wanted to do one background check to find out what convictions were on my boyfriends record so he knew what to inform his employer of. Which if you want to discuss that, the charges that this website showed on his background check were false, half of them were charges that had nothing to do with him. They said these reports are an educated guess based on computer algorithms when provided a name and date of birth. So the whole thing was a waste of time and money. They didn't refund me any of my money, all they did was try to talk me into keeping my subscription but for a lower monthly rate. I would never use this site again. There's plenty of other websites that provide the same service and clearly tell you what you're going to be charged and why. It's the sneakiness that pisses me off. Tell me what you're going to charge me up front and let me decide if I want to spend that.

After clicking on all information needed. This website denied me access to the information after I gave valid card information. They said something about abuse which is not true. I have never abused anyone or anything. This is not an accurate website. It is not a good company.

I wanted to catch up with an old friend. Jocelyn said it was a $1 but then they took $29 out of my account for 3 months. I called peoplecheck.com and Jocelyn said do to company policy we can only give you %50 back for this month. So out of my $90 they only gave me back $14.95. I hate when companies steal your money. The information I got wasn't even right and then I did not use it for 3 months and got charged. Do not use this program unless you like throwing a away money.

Signed up for free trial, got overcharged by about 30 bucks and when I called to ask what happened they said it was because my trial was over and that what I was seeing in my bank account would actually be the bill for the end of the month. Took the l and told them to cancel the subscription and they agreed. Now I have another charge to my account and the never cancelled my subscription.

Very nice looking website and thorough report when I have used the reverse phone number lookup tool.

Make sure you call if you are looking to cancel when you are done. They will help you stop the recurring payments after the trial.

Super easy to use website! I have nothing but good things to say about checkpeople. Will definitely use their services again.
