A group of thieves with the worst possible service you can get! When you cancel a ticket they getting 60% of what you paid... Customer service is the worst very mean... They taught me a lesson... NEVER USE THIS ******* SITE AGAIN

I had to cancel the flight because of COVID ban on the destination country, they will not refund and the refund its say its a credit but they will not give you access for it. When we decide to use the money they want me to add another 946 $ us dollars so the total of 2000 US $ Instead of 826 $ ticket on there websit no one to talk to but the chat that was four 6 hours please dont book with this company!

We booked the flight tickets for 3 that is 6/11 from San Francisco to Washington DC on 6/3 and cancelled the reservation on 6/5. Since then we've received email confirmation on getting a refund.
A few days later we called and ask whether we'd be getting a refund back into our bank or PayPal account. The handler promised that we will get our refund back in our PayPal account on 7/7.
Before then, I've called them a total of 13 times on 6/5,6/14,6/19,6/22,6/23,6/26,6/29,6/30,7/1,7/2,7/3,7/6 and 7/7.
On 7/15 we still haven't receive the refund they PROMISED to pay. So we called them on 7/16, and they promised again to deliver.
Today is 7/25 and still, nothing.

Extremely disappointed. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING DOMESTIC FLIGHT TICKETS, SAVE YOURSELF AND DO NOT USE CHEAPTICKETS.

I've used this site on a number of occasions and have never had any issues. It is very user friendly, there are no additional fees to book flights, and they provide you with your bottom line price to include tax and fees upfront. You can choose from multiple airlines, and can easily see the difference in price between non-stop flights and those with stops to see if the savings are really worth the extra time. I like that you can also sort the flights by departure time or shortest flight so that you can chose the flight that best suits your needs.

Upon placing an order you can select which seats you want on the plane and then notate any special needs/requests you may have. Immediately upon placing your order you will receive an order confirmation via email. I've used them for booking flights, car rentals as well as hotels and I've never had any issues with my reservations, etc.

You will find their pricing to be better than most sites specifically on flights, so I would highly recommend checking out their site anytime you are looking to book an airline ticket. Though I had a great recent experience with www.lastminutetravel.com (feel free to read my review), ultimately when booking my ticket to Florida, www.cheaptickets.com was about $50 cheaper for the same exact flight, so obviously I booked my flight with them. :)

This is one of the worst pages I ever have come by, giving travel options with pricing not available offering travel to a higher cost to trying to get potential travelers to pay a very high travel price compared to what a serious web travel agents are offering, WARNING, TRY ANOTHER WEB TO COMPARE TRAVEL PRICING, THIS ONE WILL CONN YOU OF MONEY THAT COULD BE USED TO ENJOY YOUR DESTINATION.

Worst experience
October 26, 2017

Our flight was supposed fo be in Sacramento and we were never notified of a flight change. Instead of Cheap Tickets paying for a shuttle to the nearest airport, we had to race to SFO & we barely made our flight. Cheap Tickets didn't update our flights back to SFO they wanted us to pay $2000! We had to fly to Sac, get a rental, drive to SFO & pay MUCH more for parking. We will NEVER book with this awful company again and their customer service is a joke!

I had an easy enough time placing an order online for some NFL tickets. When the tickets (2 days later) were found to be no longer available, I even got a nice call from a customer service person who assured me via phone message that they had an UPGRADE for me. I called back within ½ hour and the business was closed for the day so I called back first thing in the morning at which point they denied having any upgrade still available but I was welcome to start over again at their website and they had nothing further they could do. When a business forgets to include INTEGRITY in its charter… steer clear.

First trip: booked months in advance for good rate - 2 bookings, one round-trip, a 2nd betw cities booked in separate log-in. Shortly before trip, airline cancelled one flight. CheapT said we had to rebook ALL the flights, even the separate booking that was unaffected. I know why - this flight was now over 3X higher. The rnd-trip was $700 more and said we have to pay the going rate. They let us cancel and rebook with dif airline to save some money, but the 'betw' flight still double. All was also fully 'insured'. Haha.
Second trip: i had retina detachment and not allowed to fly. Set about rebooking months later - which was then 'off season' and rates for everything much cheaper. Less than half the original price. We were Told they have special rates reserved for rebooking, which was essentially the hot-season price. Double the rate on-line advertised by both the airline and CheapTickets. We couldn't get CheapT's own advertised pricing. Trying still to get some reimbursement from their 'insurance'. Read the reviews about the insurance. And be smarter than me and believe it.

The site will give you options for low fares, however it is not comprehensive. It leaves out higher priced fares that you may be interested in. At least I would like to be able to compare.

Bought tickets on Thursdays, on Friday they were lower on thier own Web site. Called them and had to do it on line but they said I waited to long to put in claim. That was just two days.

We purchased 4 Texas Ranger vs. NY tickets for $472.36... could NOT get iphone tickets retrieved after 2 hrs. On phone then going to 3 dif Box Ofc at stadium. MISSED LAST RANGER GAME AT RANGER STADIUM! NO HELP, NO RESOLUTION! FURIOUS! CONFIRMATION #*******

The agent over the phone booked my trip one month wrong on the incorrect date. It cost over $1600 because they booked it for the very next day when it was supposed to be one month and one day away. I had to re-book it again through United Airlines. I didn't even realize it until a week after the scheduled flight. When I called in, rather than apologize profusely, they kept me on hold for over 20 minutes, and then told me they would do an "investigation" on it. Their agents do not speak clear English which creates miscommunication and frustration, and are trained to be more robotic and as such, make mistakes quite a bit. Then, after the "investigation" they told me it was my fault after review because I confirmed it with the agent, even though they never sent me any proof, and I am sure that I gave the correct date at first, I didn't recognize the error later because we had to re-do it like 3-4 times because he kept booking the wrong flight. By the end, I was so frustrated, that when he repeated it back I did not hear the error. He booked the wrong date and losing $1600 should absolutely not be the customer's responsibility- period. If you have been wronged by this company, you need to post a review because accountability online like this is what makes them finally treat people with justice and respect they deserve, versus running over their customers because they don't think you have a voice. I will never, ever use cheaptickets again, and I advise you not to either.

Extortion

We bought our tickets for Hawaii a year ago through Cheap Tickets. A month before our trip Cheap Tickets changed one of our flights coming home from Hawaii. They gave us ten minutes to catch our next flight in Charlotte and we were near the back of the plane we were getting off of to transfer. So there was no way to make the next flight. When we called Cheap Tickets they were rude and told me they would extend the lay over and change it back to my original flight if I paid an additional three hundred dollars. I explained that my father had just died and I couldn't afford the three hundred. Cheap Tickets told me on that note we are cancelling your flights and hung up the phone on me. When I called back I found that my flights were cancelled and it would cost me four hundred to get my flights back so I could see my daughter get married. So I paid the money but now I will spread the word about cheap tickets and what they do to people. Please if you read this review don't get messed over by they. Don't use them at all go through the airlines. It's cheaper in the long run.

I've used this site a couple of times to order plane tickets. I usually get a good deal 85% of the time on this site. It's always good to have a good selection so you know what your options are like.

Cheaptickets from hell

Booked a package vacation which included flight and hotel with Cheaptickets. As we came close to our vacation date one of my child took ill. We called the airline who was very sympathetic and told us had we bought the tickets directly with them they could've possibly refunded us back some or part of the money or even a voucher ticket for a year but because we bought the tickets through a third party which is Cheaptickets we would have to resolved the matter directly with them. Resolving our tickets issue with Cheaptickets was a nightmare. Not only did they not consider the illness of my child they also refused to reimburse us back our paid hotel that they had booked us in which also was another unresolved issue. They had booked us into a guesthouse that upon arriving into the island they was no one to received our many phone calls at 3am in the morning along with us was also an infant. As a regular traveler this is the first and last time I will ever booked with Cheaptickets. Not only were they not helpful, they pass the buck onto the airline. In my opinion Cheaptickets is all about their financial interest. But what they really need to realize they are nothing without the people and these businesses thatst they giving a thumbs down. I've lost over $950 for airline tickets and luggage fee another surprise that we had no knowledge of from their package deals plus an additional $2,600 for a suitable and safe hotel because of Cheaptickets and its business afflicted.

Rip off, Don't use!

I have booked a car resevation through them like I would normally do, and they have charged me for car insurance through them that I never authorized. I have been calling and calling someone came to the phone placed me on hold and never came back. This site is a rip off and scam I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS SITE cheaptickets.com what so ever unless you have money to waste.

I can't believe this company is still allowed to operate. I had a flight to Hawaii big island where a natural disaster is going on and the home i was to rent has already been destroyed. I asked to change my destination to JFK airport and was quoted $2000. On top of the $1500 I already paid. When you look on the website it was only $1001 for me to book a new flight. This sounds like fraud to me. When you call the corporate office that number is disconnected and according to the BBB the address is not correct either. I have seen several reviews now showing others have gone through similar situations. This needs to stop. This company should not be allowed to continue to operate and treat people this way. Someone needs to investigate. The corporate office needs to come out of hiding and face the consequences of there fraudulent activity. You can't continue to up charge people. I will contact whomever i need to make sure someone looks into this so called cheap tickets and see if anyone can find the corporate office and the CEO..
