STEER CLEAR from this company!! I bought a roundtrip ticket to my home country and a month before my flight they changed my whole flight schedule (removed the arrival to my country) without my approval. I called and spoke to a guy named Bogda and after 2 hours on the phone he told me that after speaking to his supervisor (Anna) there was nothing he could do. I paid $1000 to go to my country and now I'm going to have to pay more somewhere else in order to go see my family. Again, PLEASE STEER CLEAR!!

Very unhappy! I have never dealt with an agency that doesn't give you a full back money refund when it's way in advance. I cancelled same day I ordered as my husband wasn't happy with this surprise and wasn't able to get the time off and I got charged 75.00 per person to cancel. Rediculous! Never have I heard of that before, I can see of I had cancelled closer to the date of travel but same day purchase come on. Will never deal with this agency ever again.
I canceled a reservation (that was for 22days out) 5 minutes after it was purchased as the carry on luggage info/options were only offered AFTER TICKET PURCHASE and they would have tripled the price of the trip, and they charged $50 fee to cancel. DO NOT BOOK FRONTIER ON THIS SITE.

I ordered my tickets online and it was my fault I did not double check that the initial offer was for alternative dates to my preferred dates. Upon observation (within 5 min of booking) I called customer service for support. They told me $25 charge per ticket if cancelled within first 4 hours (i did all the work to book!). It was free to transfer to new tickets, but those were inflated from ones I found on google flights by $120! They would not match so I told their indian customer service center I will cancel and they lost my business.

Was called right away from a customer service retention expert (Rachel) who apologized for the issues I had experienced. Explained how the site operated and offered to refund the extra $60.00 that I was charged to change my flight dates back. I appreciate the extra effort that was put forth. I will hopefully receive a credit within 14 business days.

After learning my way around a site everything was pretty easy but like with anything else something new is kind of hard sometime.
Customer Service needs to be in the USA and educate people on all details of flight information, booking, reserved, changed or cancelled flights!
If you have people that speak english hopefully you will make sure they understand it too.

They charge you for an airplane seat but dont actually reserve it. OBVIOUS SCAM. Airlines will tell you to your face they cannot control 3rd party services such as cheapoair, SO AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. USING CHEAPOAIR IS NOT WORTH IT FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER
I have used them for over 10 years. This past month I was due to leave and be routed through Japan the weekend of the typhoon. With less than 12 hours to my flight, mutilple new sites and even the airline's website stating the airports were closed and no flights would be happening the entirety of the weekend, Cheapoair refused to acknowledge and work on a reroute. They tried repeatedly to make me go to Chicago where I would be stranded. They told me to keep calling ANA myself because they couldn't reach them and didn't have the time to keep trying. Refused to have anyone call me back, I was the one burdened with calling and trying to handle my own flights. Only after my initial flight did they suddenly offer one for Monday, which would have cost me my hotel reservation. They refused to work with me at all or offer any kind of compensation/return for the missed connections and constant pressure to get on a flight to nowhere where I knew I would be stranded for at least one, if not two, days. And then told me I should complain and try to make ANA reimburse me instead. It was not their problem anymore.
From years of using them and suggesting them to others, I'm amazed at how poorly they handled something I'm sure affected others and not just myself. The refusal and rudeness is enough that I won't waste more time or money on them.
This company will allow you to waste your money with conflicting dates pushed to the top of the mobile screen. Read carefully before purchasing at what you think is a good price. HOOPER charged me 180 for what I originally thought was 276 on this sh**! USE ANYONE ELSE.

There were hidden fees related to luggages, while when purchase started it was advised that this is the final price for the ticket, before adding the luggages fess later
Update: I was very frustrated and couldn't believe money was pulled out twice. But after talking to customer service, my problem was resolved right away. I was told a full refund was issued today and I should receive it soon. A manager even called to check up on me. I don't remember the man that helped me but he was very nice.
I cancelled my ticket with CheapoAir and they refunded everything, a day later they charged everything back and said it was because of a flight change. Yet in my account it says I have no flights anywhere. I am still waiting for a response and also for a full refund. I am never buying tickets from them again
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
