I have used cheapoair in the past. This year around my birthday I received 3 or 4 emails for a discount if I called them. They ripped me off with a higher price than I got when I tried the same price on the web site. They promised the low price but they refused the adjustment. Cost me $100 extra.

I use this site a lot, as they always have the best prices for international flights! Their customer service is excellent too. I complained once because I thought I was not given the seat I requested for, as the seat number that was confirmed to me was different from what I had selected. Only to be told by the customer care executive on the phone that I was actually given a better seat than what I had requested for! Do these things really happen?:)
They are also on top of things like flight timings/delays, revised schedules, even change of gate at transit airports, and send you notifications accordingly. Very happy with Cheapoair! Their site is easy to navigate as well.

Well I am glad that cheapoair sent me this ticket; because one day early I was looking for a trip without so much waiting for a connecting flight. Never got it after looking for about three hrs. Next day in my inbox was the perfect one. So I should say thanks.
I'll never booked anything through CheapOair in the future. I booked a flight for my wife and I in November for the second week of January. The second week of January rolled around and we couldn't make the trip due to my wife's place of employment had to change her schedule for her to be off, because her store didn't have any employees. After I contacted CheapOair about the trip protection I had purchased they told me I had to go through a company called tripmate. After a couple of hours trying to get directed to the right people, I filed a claim with tripmate and I finally got a letter telling me that it doesn't qualify? Get the hell out of here

We found the flight for $311 then seemed good so we booked it but then found the baggage fees were exorbitant Over $300 for baggage. We called with minutes to cancel it. They gave us the run around. Held us on the phone for 20 minutes trying to cancel it. Then we finally just told them to just cancel it! Days later still getting confirmation emails of the flight. Called again and a again They said they'd listen to the recording. Still nothing. Now on hold for over 35 minutes waiting for a supposed supervisor. What a RIP OFF
Poor Service as I had booked a flight for Indonesia over 6 months in advance. They then told me that one leg of my flight was cancelled so they had to refund my money but then told me that it would take one to two billing cycles (up to 60 days) to get my refund back. Cheap O Air should have refunded me, the consumer right away and they waited for the airline to pay them back. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Poor Service!

I purchased two tickets from CheapOair for my brothers on February 20,2019, for them to travel on March 16,2019. When my brothers got to the airport they were sent home and said they need a visa to travel with the airline. Where they were traveled did not require a visa only a passport. I called CheapOair and let them know the situation and could not help me and was told to go book the ticket from another airline and would refund me the money back to purchase the new tickets. I did everything I was told to do and now denied me my refunds of $ 1,433.94. Until now this issue has not resolved and I even requested a credit no resolution.
Now it is January 22,2020, no one has contacted me to fix this issue. The resolution I am seeking for treating me unfairly and bad customer service experience. I need all of my money back I was told that will be refunded to me to pay for the new replacement tickets.
This is my experience and it is painful and I will not want anyone to go through that. I feel like they care more about making money and keeping the customer money instead of helping to resolve the issue. This is a huge amount of money I cannot afford to lose.

I looked for a reasonable flight for 4 people. I found one and started the booking process, at the end, it did not go through, screen just kept saying "processing booking, do not close browser".
I did it again and the same thing happened. I called Customer Support and was told that price was no longer available. He offered to give me his "employee discount as a courtesy", disregarding my "why did it allow me to start the booking anyway and waste my time?" My sister tried to book us also and the same thing happened to her.
I loooked for another flight, found one with Cheapoair (do i learn?) the same thing happened. I called Customer Support a few minutes ago to ask why the system would allow me to waste my time on a deal that is no longer available, and the answer was: I'm sorry, would you want me to help you book your flight?

My itinerary was changed 3 times. Each time I spent in excess of an hour on hold waiting to get hold of a representative... I would never use this service again... I am convinced that they overbook and then bet bounced by the airline. Horrid experience. Currently on hold as I write this... currently at 1 hour and 15 minutes and waiting
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
