After being put in the hold que over 3 times and left for over 30 min each it, I called back again and got Mandy who transferred me to Robert in Hotel Packages. Robert apologized for my previous experience and assured me that he would take care of me. Robert communicated well to inform exactly what and when he was doing. I appreciated the communication, because it made me feel like Robert was going to take care of me. Robert was very knowledgeable, proficient and through. It took a while, because he had to contact another department to get approval and call the hotel, but I felt confident that he would help me and he did. Thank you Robert for helping to put my trust back into CheapOair.

Tap cancelled on leg of my business flight ChepOair did not keep up w/ change, every time I called customer service had to wait > 90 minutes on hold
(3x), than for a week they were lying, at the end when I cancelled payed extra $2000 to get to my destination. Very poor unprofessional outfit.

Cheapoair is full of disrespectful, condescending and most importantly lying agents. Their customer service is utterly disgraceful and downright disgusting. I called to cancel a flight and was transferred to 12 agents who all said they couldn't process cancellations and transferred me. I was on the phone for 3 hours and 25 mns. The 12th agent Susan promised she would escalate the call, and follow up in a half-hour. That obviously never happend. I repeated the same thing over and over again. I will be filing a formal complaint and have them pull my calls. The level of gaslighting is truly something else. They hope they can frustrate you out of your money but I am not the one. It is 4am my time and I'm now dealing with a rude agent who has consistently called me a liar for repeating information i was given by their agent. It's absurd that they think they can collect money and then treat customers like trash. One star is way too generous

Eighteen months of trying to get our money refunded due to cancelations due to covid 19. Received a total refund from Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand. Lost $1495. 00 with Cheapoair. Our borders are still closed and they just ignore us. Never go near them again.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
