I typed in Shanghai All airports but when I checked later it had changed to just Hongqiao. This happened several times and I eventually had to type in Pudong and check flights from that airport individually.
There was a bit of a wait when I wanted to speak to someone, but the person was very professional and patient.
Please please please get rid of the bots and employ humans!

This company charged me $1090. 00 for a hotel and plane tickets. I had to cancel the trip. The airline tickets are non-refundable and the hotel has a free cancelation policy until October 1. Every Cheapoair representative I talked to said I would receive a $624.79 refund. Then I received an email stating that due to CheapOAir's terms my trip is non-refundable. I have contacted an attorney, The Attorney General and the local news stations.
I chose this company because of the pricing, and credit availability. I was disappointed to learn that a car rental was not offered in my package. I will continue to book through this company, though.

My flight was changed multiple times and when I called for confirmation from CheapOAir they diverted me to the airline, which I get. But now that I have my flight confirmed, CheapOAir is sending me an incorrect flight time (I leave at 9:40AM on 9/10, not at noon like noted from CheapOair. If I did not check with Alaska, then I would have shown up late and missed my flight due to CheapOAir providing me false flight information. Once I made my 'claim' with this information, I was sent an email that told me to "select from the bottom selections" which were 1. If I got my flight confirmation 2. If I did not receive it and 3. If I cancelled my travel plan. The only clickable link was "1. If you received your flight information. Thank you" Not happy with the services.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
