So,
I booked a flight with cheapoair, online.
Bought upgraded seats with the airline. Everything was wonderful at least I thought.
Then I find out a few days later that I mis typed my email address (probably predicted text). So my tickets never actually got booked.
However, they did charge my credit card for everything.
Not only did they charge my credit card, but when I called trying to get the problem resolved, the jerks hung up on me, after telling me that I did not have anything to complain about.
The airline would not assist because the ticket was booked through a third party.
So then I disputed the charges with my credit card company, only to be told that I authorized the charges. So the charges would have to stand.
If this is not stealing I do not know what is!
The only thing that I ask for was some assistance to correct the issue and to get the service that I paid for. All I got was disrespect and theft.
DISGUSTING COMPANY. I booked a flight from LAX to ULN with transit through Japan and Korea. Not only did Cheapoair failed to confirm my transit flight was cancelled. I found out about it only when I reached out to them to confirm COVID-19 restrictions. The customer service is horrible. I spent all day on the phone trying to get help from 10 different agents who'd put me on hold and be gone for hours on end. Still never got a assistance on finding alternative flights from any of the customer service agents I spoke with. Direct Airlines declined to assist due to tickets being purchased through CHEAPoAir. Spent $4000 on 2 tickets. TURNS OUT my departure flight was cancelled all together, and mind you this is 5 days before I'm supposed to fly out. They refunded only $1100 back (takes 30-60days, god knows if that'll even happen) for a flight that was cancelled w/o
How in the f*cking world, does this company operate like this and still get 4+ star reviews on this website is beyond me. Not only did I have to purchase a whole new departure ticket 5 days before my trip, i ended up spending so much more than if I were to buy it from direct airlines or some other website. What a stressful and horrible couple of days. NEVER AGAIN! WORST PURCHASING EXPERIENCE EVER.

It was really easy to set up the package deal and to set up the affiliate for billing.
I have been trying to order a wheelchair for 2 days and have yet to speak to someone. It took several attempts on the chat that although gave the countdown of my place in the que and the number of minutes, each time I reached #1, the time increased and then the chat would cut off. I finally called in and after a 15 minute hold time, spoke with someone who was a great help and not only helped me obtain the wheelchair, but stayed on the line to make sure I saw everything.
Very easy as usual. I have used CheapOair many times and always happy. I booked this flight in a matter of minutes and got a great price.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
