I'm writing this review after over 9 hours of desperation, anger, and hopelessness. My return flight to LA from Dubai had two legs—one to London and another from London to LAX. I was at the check-in line around 9:30, and everything seemed normal until the Emirates staff told me they could not find my name for the first leg. I wasn't too worried, and I should have been. I called Cheapoair to sort it out, and they kept me on the line for one hour and twenty minutes and hung up while I was listening to their hold music for the 65th time. From that point until now that the local time is around 7:30 PM. I have had the pleasure of talking to at least 10 "travel experts" and a handful of supervisors and superdupervisors. 4 of them promised to call me back and check my phone number, and they never did. The airline doesn't talk to me since the ticket was purchased from Cheapoair. As for Cheapoair customer service, no solutions were provided. No new tickets were issued. Let alone any mention of compensation for the incredible inconvenience they caused. I ended up buying a ticket for around $2300 to get out of there. I will fight this tooth and nail, hoping to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Easy to use and compare flights. After booking a flight there was confusion regarding which mobile app to use, CheapOair or the actual carrier as well as where to check in. The carrier's website did not show my trip until at least 12 hours after my flight was booked with CheapOair, causing some confusion and frustration on my part. This prompted me to spend 1 1/2 hours on the phone between the 2 companies to ensure my flight was 100% confirmed.

The travel agency CheapOair has an extremely poor and unsatisfactory costumer service. It is highly NOT recommended working with them.
The costumer service is unreachable, with robot-assistants and not actual personnel.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
