Champs has terrible customer service. We ordered shoes for my son's birthday on a Monday at 9:00pm. We paid the extra $19.99 to have 2 day delivery. By Wednesday we had heard nothing. I had contacted them and never heard back. Finally, I called, and they tried to say we rejected the shipment. Even though it had never shipped. After 30 minutes on the phone they finally said they cannot find the shoes and told me I should be placing orders in the morning and not in the evening as it causes issues with shipments... Not sure how my timing of the day affects shipping but apparently for them it does. They told me the shoes are not available, however, they are still showing as available on their website. They also have now told me they cannot actually "cancel" it in their system for another 2 days and I will need to call back then to confirm... Absolutely ridiculous.
I just ordered a yellow Jordan shirt and it was stained I'm so upset my birthday is tomorrow Jan 1 and I was expecting to where my shirt and yellow shoes I also bought together shoes are ok but not even paper in the shoes first time I seen that I'm upset I'm always buying shoes from Nike com and champs and never seen this before looks like blood or ketchup don't know what this stain is I just got it 20 minutes ago.
I wouldn't even give a 1 star! I ordered shoes today from online for my daughter. After I used Affirm to pay, there was a webpage that came up and said "page not found" I got an email that affirm took my money but no confirmation order number that my purchase actually went through. I called customer service and she said she couldn't find my order and I need to call back in 24 hours if I don't receive a confirmation number. This is crap - other companies give confirmation numbers right away. I also signed up to be a member and got charged for shipping and received no points. I want the shoes I thought I ordered …. I am pretty annoyed and won't be recommending this company in the future —— no I'm likely going to have to fight with affirm to get my money back!
So i tried to make a purchase yesterday and they canceled my purchase maybe because of the format and i didnt want to create an account. Anyways today i created an account but it wont let me purchase because "1 purchase per customer" but the purchase was cancelled so it still no abuse there. The customer service is a nightmare to deal with, barely doing minimum i don't understand why its worth paying them if they can't help because "they can't change the system"
They have messed up my order more than once! I ordered 2 pair of ASICS online 2 days after order I'm notified that one pair is not available. On the 6th day I inquire about my one remaining pair. I'm emailed back and told the whole order is canceled and my money should be released in 5 to 7 business days! I will never shop at this pathetic business again. I suggest you don't either or you'll regret it.

I bought pants from them. I didn't use the pants for over 6 months. One day, I went to wear my pants. I put my keys into my pockets and heard my keys hit the floor. The pants had gigantic holes in the pockets. Went to store and "there is nothing we can do". Called corporate, "we defer to the store".
They are selling pants with no pockets made in China. What's alarming is that they won't even give a gift card. Terrible product. Terrible service. Check before you buy. Hilarious
Purchased a nike hoodie that came with the security tag. Tried to do virtual chat which doesnt even work, called customer service the guy was talking so fast and had a heavy accent I couldnt even undertsand him. But i have to send back so they can check before sendind me a new one when it was their mistake. So i have to wait even longer hoping they dont mess up agaon
Champs actually charges $6.99 to return an online order. This is crazy.
How is this even acceptable?
Now that I know this, I'll never shop at Champs again.
Other sports brands offer free returns and that is where we'll spend our money from now on.
Returned a new sweatshirt for smaller size, they sent back to me a used sweatshirt claiming it was the one I sent! They keep the good ones and return us the garbage.
I visited store ******* in SC on Dec. 16,2023 to purchase items. And my bank card was doubled charged. I called customer service 3 times and visited the store 2 times and no one could help me, they are giving me the run around. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED.
Ordered some shoes payed extra for the shipping and didn't get my shoes till way later than the date I was supposed to never again will I pay for fast shipping!
Champs is a pathetic excuse for a shoe store. They don't enter you point whenever you order shoes from them. They don't honor the points you had when it was Eastbay shoe company, and you bought numerous pair of shoes. Then when you call and speak to customer service, you get connected to someone from the Middle East who doesn't care anything about what your saying. They just keep saying they can't honor your points even though they see you ordered shoes in the past. Very rude customer service. Telemarketing gangsters on the phone, and cowards in the real world. Do not spend your hard earned American dollars with this company. They say anything to keep you from being able to use your points for a discount on a new purchase. When you finally receive your shoes the boxes will be crushed and damaged. You literally have to steam your shoes to straighten them back out. Just a crappy company all the way around. From customer service to shipping of your product. Beware
I just created an account today and I can honestly tell you it is the worst ordering site I have ever been on. I had 17 items I was trying to buy and as I choose each size (which showed as available) and tried to add to cart, a pop up would show saying the size is out of stock. At first I figured maybe it just sold out but as I moved through my order, it did it with EVERY single item. I called customer support thinking it was a glitch and I was told that those items were out of stock in their system. I asked why the inventory still shows as available on the website and she said it can take 2-3 days for the system to update?! Out of 17 items that showed that sizes were available I was unable to order 1.
First of all I couldn't use the the Google PayPal for any of the for any of the games I downloaded plus it said I was banded because I have multiple accounts that's a lie it's one account so yeah this is the scam please don't even bother with it
LANCE is a horrific example of management at this store. I purchased a pair of shoes for roughly $110 which is a lot for a single mother. I was excited about my purchase because I have the beginning stages of neuropathy in my feet & need a lot of support. I was sold a pair of converse with the left shoe a size 7, and the right shoe a size 6. No biggie, right?
WRONG. I attempted to return the shoes. I really just wanted the right shoe to be the same size as the left, a size 7, what I thought I purchased. Lance REFUSED to give me the right 7 even after I told him my dilemma around their mistake in selling me 2 different sized shoes. He threw the other size 6 at me and confiscated my size 7 (which I had already purchased) and demanded that I take the size that was too small. I had to get the cops involved to retrieve the size 7 that I had purchased and had already worn. I am still wearing 2 different sizes because I'm stuck with them. In all the years I have been shopping, I have never been more humiliated and shocked at the lack of customer service skills LANCE the MANAGER possessed. It is a wonder that he has a job working with the public. I will never shop there again. To add insult to injury, corporate isn't willing to make it right, so I will see their $#*!ty company in small claims court to get a pair of shoes that are the same size. I urge you to choose another shoe store for shoes unless you are into $#*!ty customer service, then LANCE has you covered!
I purchased a jacket from here in the United stats last week and I can't exchange it in Canada, very poor customer service. I could understand returning it because of the exchange rate in the dollar but not even being able to exchange for a different size is very sad. Will never shop here again.
I ordered a hoodie as a gift and it was too small. It was tried on in my presence for under one minute. I immediately took it back and put it in a bag. I started an exchange the following day. A week or so later I received an email stating the original hoodie was being returned to me before it was "USED"? I sent several more emails and made 2 phone calls, speaking to a supervisor, and was told there was nothing that could be done, that was the warehouses call. I've never in my had such an issue with a store. This hoodie was 100% in brand new condition with tags. It was taken out of their packaging and wrapped as as gift, tried on for less than a minute, packaged and returned. Even more confusing was when I received the hoodie back today from the "warehouse" and it had a woman's name and address for the return address, as opposed to Champs Sports. So this really makes me question who's determining whether or not items are still "new" and "unworn". Beware if you're buying online and may potentially have to return something.
Worst.customer service there is telling me they can't change my adress when they have it pulled up to where it can get sent to the right location $#*!ing ridiculous
The staff was very courtesy and helpful on this busy hot day and I love this location on 125 in Manhattan
Answer: You may never get them. Even if you click the link and check your order status and it says, "fully shipped" that does not mean you are getting your shoes. They will not notify you if they do not have them in stock - even though they said they did when you placed your order. Just waited over a month and made a couple of phone calls through the wait period. Endured being on hold and on the phone for over 1.5 hours. Was told a week ago that they would be sent. Today find out that they knew then that they didn't have them.
