I've made my order on Sunday and chose 3-day shipment, but the phone was shipped only on Thursday, so I got it only next Monday. Taking into account that this was not a free delivery option, I believe the delay was significant.
Another issue is that though the phone was advertised as "new", it arrived in the "open box" state, and, in particular, pin removal tool was missing. Since the phone itself looked new and worked fine, I've decided to keep it, but doubts linger...
The price was best I could find on the Internet for the new one, but with what was said above I'm no longer sure...
Have emailed twice requesting return of phone due to receiving phone late(after paying for 3 day delivery) and having to purchase one locally... I did not hear anything back from you, so I am a dissatisfied customer.
Thank you!
Tried different outlets/ plugs phone will not charge. Don't know what else to try. Phone worked when I first turned it on. But now it won't work.
So proud i bumped into their website. Their prices seem fair and shipping had no issues. Would buy again!
They advertise that they cell new phones and I got a refurbished phone, sent it back for a new phone that worked and got a second phone that SUCKED. Do not buy from this company!
So far, so good. Have ordered a SIM(?) card to actually get the thing working. Not here yet.
So I really cannot rate the phone itself -- but it looks good and seems to be "as advertised" and will
Meet my needs nicely if everything works.
I have been looking for a durable cell for my dad and you not only carried the exact model but the best price by $20 to the closest competitor and $140 by a major nationwide cell carrier. Navigating the website was easy as was purchasing. Great all around experience! I'll be sure to tell others about this store.
Everything went well so far. Waiting for the phone to really give the best review.
**Edit** I received my phone fast and it was nice. Only complaint that the screen has a green line going down the middle. I wonder why?
Quick, easy to navigate. Ive ordered before with CELL2GET and the phone works great so I'm ordering a second time.! Very Pleased!
Only had one issue with the shopping on my last order but it was resolved.
Good phone store overall. With loads of deals and offers you could never go wrong with those people!
Awesome seller and excellent representatives. Shipping was on time as expected and product came in a great condition.
Great price, free shipping, but had to call three times to find out when the order was going to be shipped. After the initial order confirmation there was no follow-up response from seller unless I called to get a update on the status. I am assuming the phone was not in stock because I was given three different shipping dates. All in all everything turn out ok but when you are dealing with a situation like this it is frustrating.
Great and affordable options. Shipping was also quicker than I thought it would be.
Search is difficult, but otherwise good shopping experience
Order took over a week just to ship, plus 2 wells shipping time - I realize we paid for slower shopping, but did not realize how long it would take to ship.
There were no updates to order status on the website, which added to the anxiety of waiting for the phone
Order#******* placed on march 14th in the amount of $156.39. After an unacceptable amount of time passing awaiting the arrival of the phone I called Melvin on April 11,2011 and asked for a refund, I was told - no problems we'll refund our money. Amazingly enough the phone was shipped the next day (4/12/11). When I called Melvin to ask about the status of the refund he told me to wait until the next day and then call back. In hind sight I realize that he knew it was shipped out but didn't tell me. I also realize that this was done so that Cell2Get would receive their 15% restocking fee. So I feel I was lied to every step of the way. Incidentally, no one answers the phone before 3:30pm (maybe that's when Melvin starts working... I don't know). That in and of itself was frustrating. Back to the phone - the phone was USED and Damaged. The camera and video function didn't work and it had a crack on the front of the phone. So besides being lied to, not able to get a hold of anyone before 3:30 in the afternoon, waiting a month for a phone, asking for a refund and having the phone shipped out the next day, receiving a damaged phone, paying for the shipping that phone back to them, they expect to keep the 15% restocking fee? NOW, that's not all. To my surprise I found out that they credited back only 97.31 which is 37% of 156.39.
I complained to BBB but they can't do nothing, they said that Ican sue them if I want...
NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM CELL2GET.COM!
I wish I could give them a 5 star rating but the shipping is a hassle and they barely answer your phone calls or emails.
Such a good professional customer service! Even though I had an issue with my phone they helped me fixed it and even switch my device!
The rugby came water damaged and the sims card slot was damaged. They made me send back at my own expense even tho the phone was damaged. I can see trouble getting my money back and the return postage in the horizon. No return label was provided. It was to be a new phone but yet when I talked with them, he said every phone is tested. Why would u test a new phone. Do not recommend
Bought 2 LG phones from them, kept on loosing service on areas where my provider used to work well, until i found out that they are LG copies and not originals. DON'T BY FROM THEM
Answer: Phone # is 8005182355
Answer: CDMA and GSM networks are two types of cellular phone networks and generally if you have a device made for one, it can't be used on the other. In the US, Sprint®* and Verizon run on CDMA networks while AT&T and T-Mobile run on GSM networks. Ting runs on both
Answer: There are good and bad CDMA and GSM networks, but there are key differences between the technologies... It's much easier to swap phones on GSM networks, because GSM carriers put customer information on a removable SIM card. Take the card out, put it in a different phone, and the new phone now has your number.
