Money was pending. I try to text carousell support team all day! Everybody says same Be passion! 1-3 days money will be on your balance. Today day 4 nothing is change! Nobody email me explaining what happened with my money! I will go make police report on Carousell PTE LTD because it is stilling.

Carousell customer service is not professional, cold and pretentious. I am still grateful since the platform started. But the customer service and management lack integrity and prfessionism. *Carousell may contact me to verify

The old team of Carousell should be back. There is no one to turn to. Their moderators need accountability.

Admin ignores practically every violation users violate, targets minority outsiders, scammers heaven, really. Very singapore site, a lot like how singapore functions, happy on the outside rotten on the inside.

I spent tons of money of caerousell for their coins before and 5 times already theyll remove my listing or suspend my account for minor actions that they wont do the same to other users as well everytiem after i spent money of their platform
BS support will purposely delay ur case with no form of contact and support staff will even block you from contacting them
Police report has been filed BEWARE

On the first day of use, posted 5 books, and my account suddenly got suspended. Spent more than 1 week and the problem did not resolve. Ended up account being terminated without providing a valid reason. Live chat with people named CoCo, Sky, Faith - without a true identity. Emails received were all robotic auto-replies, totally uncommunicable. DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM!

Carousel will, up to their absolute discretion suspend your account for 1 month if their moderators felt it was necessary, for example, if you had mistakenly listed a banned item, eg medicines. It is like capital punishment for an innocent crime.

Carousel is also a haven for scammers and the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore has sent warnings of more than one thousand complaints received of people being scammed at Carousel. Carousel is pro scammers rather than pro decent sellers.

Horrible service. I bought an item with "Carousell Certified/Guarantee." I reached out to them and they haven't replied in 15 days. When I try to chat, it doesn't even get me to an actual person. It keeps looping to the stupid ChatBot. I shouldn't have purchased the warranty from Carousell. It is horrible dealing with them. One time they reply saying that, "they are sorry for the delayed response!"

Crappy platform that blatantly allows scammers and lots of illegal sellers peddling their replicas openly. Just a bunch of hypocrites running the show.

Irresponsive "support", low quality website = recipe for self destruction. Carousell is not responding to support messages. They don't seem to care whether they go bust. Is this perhaps an Asian business attitude that I wasn't aware of?

Charged a fee for "security" in purchase and then release the money to the buyer even before the purchase reaches. Worst of all, upon discovery of a fake item, I reported and was told that they have already released the payment and cannot do anything except to ask the Seller to respond to me. Will the seller do so when the intention to deceive was apparent? Sigh…

This is a scam company. I lost 53,580 in this carousell e commerce website please dont trust this company who are seeing this review, i challenge this company ceo in india, if you are born in your mothers womb come and face me, in mysore city bus stand. Come and give me a review that u had come i will $#*! you,if uyou would not come then you are born for 10 fathers for your mother then 11 father who will $#*! your mother

I am one of the first carouseller since its launch. Initially was ok. But eventually so many chinese scammers flooded into platform. So many counterfeit products so many issues. When I report counterfeit Carousell penalized me. For example When i was selling legit made in Germany product my items being removed another person selling the chinese knock off he get to stay even thou many people complained about him. Also harrasment and extortion is rampant as carousell helps criminals

The online chat support sucks absolutely and they don't even dare to pick up a call and speak to their account holders... i will never recommend this app to anyone unless they bother to change and improve the system... that is when the entire management team is young and inexperienced to customer service... hire someone with customer service experience and NOT just technically savvy...

I've been doing online sales part-time Since 2010.

Worse buyers were available. Lots of Cheapskate, asking stupid questions, asking for a discount and not turning up and don't want the item after asking questions. Most of the time asking a question is listed on your description.

Poor Customer Service. Keep removing seller post/ban user ID without the true reason. Keep telling the seller an invalid reason. We go through our post again and again and is still be removed. Don't know what to do.

Made a purchase with seller (irugs) but the product was nothing like what was advertised or shown - overpriced for such an inferior quality with trimmings and material that was not as promised. Seller refused to allow me to return even though he/she was unable to refute why the product I received was not what was advertised (note that I'm not some cheapskate expecting the product to be complimentary. I am willing to pay for the return; I just want this lousy rug gone and my hard earned money back). I sent unequivocal evidence of the side by side comparison of the actual product I received vs what was advertised, but now carousell support is saying the seller has also provided evidence and my report is 'invalid', thus dismissing all the photo evidence that I provided that clearly shows that I was scammed.

Part of the reason why carousell aids scammers is also because of their silly review policy, which only allows reviews to be posted within 14 days. The seller precisely exploited this loophole and only sends out the lousy rugs after 14 days, and now I can't get my refund and I can't even leave an honest review about what I think about the product quality. You need to look more closely to see that most of the reviews are about how 'friendly' the seller is, but who cares about hypocritical service if the product is crap. I was only deceived into buying as I thought the seller is trustworthy based on the many '5 star' reviews, and I pointed this loophole to the support team and they conveniently did not address it as well. As a active carousell buyer and seller, I am super disappointed and disgusted at carousell's response!

I just received an email from the support team, if they can even be called that that I was harassing other users on carousell. All because a seller offered me a $3 discount in the late evening if I drove across the country to his house before the day was done, so naturally I called him crazy because why on earth would I drive across Singapore to save $3 and waste more on gasoline?

Harassing? Really? My Carousell account, tsuikyit has over 50 5 star reviews for a reason. I didn't get to this point by being toxic and abusive on the site.

It's unbelievable how many nutcases are on Carousell and even more how the support team treats those who boost listings like royalty and those like me who are strictly free users, like scum of the earth.

If anything, all it takes is for a new competitor to come into town before Carousell wakes up and makes serious changes. With how they're running the show it's obvious that money is their main focus, rather than giving second hand items a new life.

Search up anything and you'll be bombarded with ads instead of what you're looking for.
And trust me, with how I'm being treated as a user and their support being is hit or miss, I'm making the transition to just cough up more money and buy my things brand new elsewhere.

I'm not going to support an online marketplace with behaviour that clearly pressures people to boost listings if they want to be given special treatment.

Again, look up my Carousell profile by the name of tsuikyit if you're doubtful of what I claim. Drop me a message on one of my listings if you're curious in any way and I'll be more than happy to talk. It's just so frustrating that a company has the gall to stealthily have a system in place where free users have to abide by the rules, and those who pay up for Carousell Coins (which expire, by the way!) can do anything without any consequences.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t. Buy your things brand new and save your frustration with dealing with users off their rocker.

Unless it’s only sold here, I’d advise everyone to pay more and get your items brand new. You can save money by buying used, you can’t put a price on being stress free

Bad policies with the worst rating system that doesn't make sense
With so many seed funding, it's amazing how bad their product and customer service team is.

They are purely existing because they are pretty much of a monopoly, and Facebook marketplace isn't cutting it as well.

這個平台的唯一優點是能夠把交易的程序減至最少——出價,約時間交收,一手交錢一手交貨,搞掂。但是平台本身和用戶群(user base)存在很多令人髮指的問題。
首先,是經常遇到失約、食言、無良、只讀不回的用戶,大大降低使用體驗,浪費大量時間金錢。
接著,就是平台不積極處理有關以上行為的舉報。在大部分情況下,得不到理想的解決方法。
除此以外,最迷惑的事情是,同一款的物件,平台允許其他用戶出售,往往把我的刪除。
還有,平台對我這些誠實用戶有聞必錄、不容置辯,對付費、濫用用戶視而不見、聽而不聞。
如果你是商業用戶,絕對不建議這種自以為是、一手遮天、壟斷市場的交易平台。

避之則吉,敬而遠之。

Registered an old email address that gone with my phone Few years ago. Now using new email. So how t f can I view an old email when they Sen an information to that particular email?! Updated my new email but still no use! Been cheated frm some pyscho buyer, mia and still keep offering on other item. Such kinda thing and I Guess sure unhappy buyer reported me?! Seriously Carousell should improve their policies not simply auto computerised everything

Understand that duplicates and irrelevant words especially tagging f server all brands in listing is NOT allowed but there are Many seller still doing this.

My listing was removed due to duplicates n tagging but I see MANY MANY others doing the same and their listing are still avaliable after listed for months?
In addition when you report such Similar cases they said is ok double standard?

Carousel s getting more commercialized I wish they can closed down the apps soon.

***You did not answer why a boxer is prohibited in selling? You guys are just basing your action from a report from users which is ridiculous and unfair. You are biased and that kind of company should not exist.

I am pretty sure that someone has reported my listing because of the item description. You are violating your users right to sell. Just because the seller (myself) is witty in my post meaning I post malicious items. Please dont act like you are an important selling platform because you definitely guys are not!

Hi guys, please let me rant. I am so so so pissed off right now. It all happened earlier this morning, around 3:40am until now. I havent sleep okay. I cant accept of what had just happened to me.

I have been attacked by a few suspicious account while I was busy listing my items I wanna sell off.
Been loyal with this app for 5 years now, (got 89 reviews of 5/5 ratings from both sellers and buyers ;) have never had a single issues until just now. Just after I reported issues regarding the fraudulent attempt to my account then out of the blue, my account has been suspended. After all the hard work on writing those detailed descriptions, ( yes i love writing down long descriptions) Oh my god. It was so unfair!

Ive spent almost 3 days to get nice shots of photos, and try to get some interesting ideas on how to attract buyers and now it all went down the drain! I'm telling you my friend, put yourself in my shoes and see how pissed you are. I am the midst of looking for some cash, this my side business. I am no longer working because of the Covid and Carousell did this to me without any inquiries or any warning notice. It is such a shame! Lousy management team you are!

I am terribly frustrated and I need to CURSE right now. I am in the need of cash, i mean fast cash to get thru over this pandemic. Not gonna lie this app were reliable and used to be very helpful to me, but now reading at all the hatred from the ex-users i think i'm gonna say the same thing too GO TO HELL Carousell. BYE!

I have been selling on Carousell for at least 7 years, with 500+ positive reviews.

Even though Carousell is just a platform for buyers and sellers, hence the experience gotten from there from transactions depend on the users themselves.

BUT Carousell customer service is atrocious. Every time you contact them for help regarding a transaction or a user's behaviour, they copy-paste a default response that says their platform has no control over transaction experience, to just post a review etc. Or if you told them a user just left a terrible review for no reason whatsoever, that copy-paste default answer is the response.

Too many times the buyer themselves are scammers, buying your authentic item which they check on the spot, or you offer to go boutique with them to verify authenticity but they refuse, then leave the place. And then contact you days later to claim you sold a fake item.

These buyers most likely swapped out your authentic item for a fake, then demand refund for the fake, hence leaving them with the authentic item, PLUS your money. If you refuse to refund cos they checked long enough on the spot, or refuse to go boutique with you to verify authenticity, the buyer just leaves you bad review, or worst, make a police report over nonsense. What Carousell does? Default copy-paste answer. "Reviews are there to maintain integrity of platform" but the buyer themselves are cheating you!

My account is now restricted because of such a buyer, my years of building rep is gone because of that. Still waiting for Carousell response since a week ago. Submitted proof and all.

Those using this platform, don't get your hopes too high. It's basically you protecting yourself.

Account deactivated due to suspicious fraud activity when i have been a regular seller for > 5 years?
Some of my buyers have already paid up and we're in the midst of arranging a meet up location and my account just got deactivated out of the blue, if police reports were to be made against me it's all down to Carousell's poor handling of this case, unlike these idiots who work at Carousell I have always uphold my own values and not scam my customers by having sold items in the buyers hands. I don't know how they're getting new seed investments with such unpleasant experience and I sincerely hope the 3 founders of this $#*!ty company go to hell.
